2.Drawbacks and research status quo of treatment for AIDS by integrative medicine
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(07):-
AIDS has become a devastating disease facing human around the world.Western medicine can reduce blood HIV load, thereby promoting recovery of immune function. With the extensive application of HAART,many unsolvable problems appear. There is much experience in treatment for infectious diseases in TCM.So,it is necessary and feasible to treat AIDS with TCM.Combination of Chinese and western medicine will achieve complementary advantages and may be a new model for AIDS treatment. Many researchers carry out study on it,but there are still a lot to do to improve the drawbacks.
3.Expression and clinical significance of Bmi-1,Podoplanin and p53 in human thymic epithelial tumor
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of Bmi-1,Podoplanin and p53 in human thymic epithelial tumor(TET) according to new histological classification of World Health Organization. Methods One hundred and ten TET tissue chips were prepared, and the expressions of Bmi-1,Podoplanin and p53 were detected by NovoLinkTM Polymer detection systems. Results The positive expressions of Bmi-1,Podoplanin and p53 were 68.2%,41.8% and 42.7%,respectively.The positive expressions of Bmi-1,Podoplanin and p53 were significantly associated with pathologic histological classification,Masaoka staging and clinic pathological grading(P
4. The role of autophagy in maintaining pancreatic beta-cell function
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;30(12):1413-1415
Disrupted pancreatic β-cell function and decreased β-cell number are two of the main causes of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Recent studies have indicated that autophagy plays an important role in protecting pancreatic β-cell and in maintaining the structure, number, and secretive function of pancreatic β-cell. Although autophagy has been a focus of study in recent years, including areas such as tumor, neural diseases and aging, but its relationship with pancreatic β-cell was not included. In this paper we review the concept of autophagy and its role in maintaining the normal function of pancreatic β-cells.
5.Current Situation of Modified Constraint-induced Movement Therapy Used in Children with Hemiplegia (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2014;(8):745-748
Hemiplegia is a common type of physical disability in children with brain damage. For many kinds of reasons, the outcome of rehabilitation of the affected upper limb is not good enough, especially in the affected hand. Recently, many studies engaged in the modified Constraint-induced Movement Therapy (mCIMT) to explore the child-friendly way of restraint to improve hand function in hemiplegic children, and were summarized in this paper.
6.Research progress on the epidemiology of human adenovirus infections
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2023;35(1):32-35
Abstract
Human adenovirus (HAdV), which is characterized by infectivity, complex pathogenesis and multiple target organs, causes multiple organ infections in the respiratory system, gastrointestinal system and eyes, which seriously endangers human health. Various subspecies of HAdV has different tissue tropism, which presents diverse clinical symptoms and epidemiological characteristics. Based on the molecule biological characteristics of HAdV, this review summarizes the clinical symptoms and epidemiological characteristics of HAdV infections depending on tissue tropism, and describes the trends in HAdV epidemiology, so as to provide insights into prevention and control of HAdV infections.
7.Clinical analysis of childhood epilepsy with occipital paroxysms
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(medical Science) 2010;30(2):140-142
Objective To analyse the differences between idiopathic and symptomatic childhood epilepsy with occipital patoxysms. Methods The medical records of 38 patients with interictal spikes and/or sharp waves over occipital areas, posterior temporal-parietal areas,or both were retrospectively analysed.Epidemiological data, ictal symptoms, electroencephalogram, neuroimaging studies, treatment response and prognosis were compared using chi-square test or Mann-Whitney U test. Results Four patients of idiopathic group had positive family history related to nervous system.Seizures were more frequent in symptomatic group than in idiopathic group. Both groups showed autonomic symptoms, while ictal vomiting and deviation of eyes were more common in the presence of Panayiotopoulos type. The prognosis of idiopathic group was much better than that of symptomatic group. Conclusion Panayiotopoulos syndrome is more common.Neurologic deficits and electroencephalographic characteristics are major factors to predict seizure remission in children with occipital lobe epilepsy.Idiopathic childhood epilepsy with occipital paroxysms may result in better prognosis.
8.Heart Rate Variability Analysis based on Multi-Resolution Analysis
Chinese Journal of Medical Physics 2010;27(1):1645-1648
Objective:Heart rate variability (HRV) contains a lot of information concerning the cardiovascular regulation, and can be an important indicator, quantitatively reflecting of autonomic nervous function and the normal heart activity, also can play an important role in cardiovascular regulation. Therefore,HRV signals are analyzed using common HRV analysis methods. Methods:Decompose HRV signals of congestive heart failure and normal persons into 6 scales using Multi-resolution analysis. The wavelet coefficient energy is calculated, especially the frequency energy of cd3 to cd6.Results:Energy is mainly concerned in the lower band of high frequency band and low frequency band, where the energy differences between the two groups are more evidence. It's more precise compared to the result with frequency-domain analysis. Conclusions:To gain results with universal law, more different analysis methods need to be improved and lots of researches are necessary.
9.Clinical effect and safety of cortical bone decortication combined locking plate fixation for treatment of patients with long bone nonunion of limbs
Clinical Medicine of China 2015;(2):169-171
Objective To analyze the clinical effect and safety of cortical bone decortication combined locking plate fixation for treatment of long bone nonunion of limbs. Methods Eighty patients with long bone nonunion of limbs who were treated in the Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Dalian University from Jun. 2010 to Jun. 2013 were selected as our subjects and their clinical data were recorded. According to different treatment methods, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, and each group with 40 cases. Patients in observation group were treated with cortical bone decortication combined locking plate fixation, while in control group were treated with locking plate combined slotted bone graft. Clinical effects and safety of two groups were compared. Results Excellent and good rate in observation group was 100%(40/40),obviously higher than that of control group(90. 0%(36/40);χ2 =4. 21,P﹤0. 05). Bleeding amount during operation in observation group was(370. 5 ± 56. 5)ml,obviously less than that of control group((486. 5 ± 64. 5)ml;t=8. 56,P﹤0. 01). And the fracture healing time was(5. 6 ± 1. 2)months in observation group, shorter than control group((7. 2 ± 1. 5)months;t =5. 27,P ﹤0. 01). The postoperative complication occurrence rate was 5. 0%(2/40),significantly lower than control group(20. 0%(8/40);χ2 =4. 11,P ﹤0. 05). Conclusion Cortical bone decortication combined locking plate fixation for treatment of long bone nonunion of limbs is safe and effective, and it can reduce operation injury and accelerate postoperative healing of fracture.
