9.OBSERVATIONS ON THE THERAPEUTIC EFFECT OF PENTAGASTRIN IN CHRONIC ATROPHIC GASTRITIS
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
33 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis were divided into 2 groups. Among them, 19 patients were treated with small doses of pentagastrin for 8 weeks, whereas the other 14 served as a control group. The therapeutic effect was decided by overall observations of the subjective symptoms, biopsy of the gastric mucosa and the change in cytodynamics before and after the treatment. The results showed that small doses of pentagastrin can markedly relieve the clinical symptoms of atrophic gastritis, lessen the pathological changes to some extent, and reduce labelling indices in a part of the patients with a-trophic gastritis in the gastric body. The treatment showed no definite therapeutic effect on atrophic gastritis in the gastric antrum.
10.Enhance the diagnosis of hereditary renal diseases in pediatric field in China
Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2004;0(01):-
More and more hereditary diseases, including hereditary renal diseases in particular, have been diagnosed withthe achievement of the Human Genome Project in the last decade and the development of biotechnology. The in-creased diagnosis of hereditary diseases as well as hereditary renal diseases appeared not only in case numbers butalso in disease categories. Some hereditary renal diseases thatare considered to be rare previously nowbecome rela-tively common, because there have been much more approaches for diagnosis, such as renal pathology, biochemis-try, imaging, and genetic diagnoses.
