2.Effect of IL-10 in tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(3):181-184
Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is an immuno-regulatory cytokine, which is well known for its immunosuppressive function.IL-1O can act on a variety of immune cell subsets and play an immunosuppressive effect through a variety of ways.It plays an important role in the tumor immune escape.Recent studies show that IL-10 also has an immune-stimulating function, which is presumably a pluripotent cytokine. This paper will combine the latest literature to summary the positive and negative regulatory roles of IL-10,mediation ways in the tumor and the relationships with prognosis.
3.Effects of Livin antisense oligodeoxynucleotides on the proliferation and apoptosis of HL60 cells
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(05):-
Objective To investigate effects of Livin antisense oligodeoxynucleotides(ASODN) on the proliferation and apoptosis of human leukemia(HL60) cells. Methods Livin protein on HL60 cells was examined by immunohistochemistry.Specific phosphorothioate antisense oligodeoxynucleotides and missense oligodeoxynucleotides target Livin mRNA were synthesized and transfected into HL60 cells following cationic liposome. The proliferation inhibition of HL60 cells was assessed by MTT.The expression of Livin mRNA was detected by RT-PCR.Transmission electron microscope and TUNEL technology were used to detect the apoptosis and morphologic change.ResultsASODN of 600 nmol/L inhibited the HL60 cell proliferation and the expressions of Livin mRNA.The percentage of apoptosis detected by TUNEL was 38.48%?4.37%.cellar ultrastructure was markedly destroyed by Livin ASODN.A significant difference was found when compared with the control group(P
4.Study on Cultural Adaptability of Presumed Consent Principle in Organ Donation
Chinese Medical Ethics 2017;30(6):782-786
The presumed consent principle in organ donation as one of the legal systems to obtain organs has a-chieved some success in practice. However,it is controversial in the ethical and legal aspects. Some Chinese scholars express concern about the implementation of presumed consent in the context of Chinese culture. In order to explicit whether the principle of presumed consent in organ donation is suitable for the Chinese culture, this pa-per considered that there are positive factors in promoting organ donation in Chinese culture through the study of the relationship among the types of presumed consent, the presumed consent and informed consent and the ethical prin-ciple of respect for autonomy.Under the regulation and promotion of state law,the principle of presumed consent can also play the positive role in promoting organ donation in the context of Chinese culture.
5.Biomarkers: the diagnostics and prognostics function in systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2017;32(9):648-651
Systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) is a systemic inflammatory disease characterized with arthritis in one or more joints, fever, rash and serositis.Due to the atypical symptoms and poor prognosis,it's a great challenge in the clinical diagnosis and treatment efficacy evaluation in sJIA.These challenges could be addressed by the identification of clinical biomarkers, aiming at evaluating the disease severity, predicting the activity and prognosis of sJIA.This review will be focus on genetics, serum and cellular markers in sJIA and summarize the relative application on diagnosis and treatment.
6.Evaluation on short-term prognosis of hepatitis B patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure using MELD and PT
Chinese Journal of Clinical Infectious Diseases 2008;1(4):207-209
Objective To compare the model for end-stage liver disease (MELD) and PT in survival prediction of hepatitis B patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure. Methods One hundred and thirty-nine hepatitis B patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure were divided into survival and death group, and evaluated by MELD and FT. The area under ROC curve was used to compare the MELD and PT. The mortality was observed within 3 months. Results The MELD score and PT of survival group was 25.09 ± 3.92 and (26.46 ± 6.46) seconds respectively, and those for the death group were 36.25 ± 6.42 and (40.78 ± 10.80) seconds. The differences were of statistical significance ( P < 0.01 ). MELD score showed significant correlations with PT(r =0.824, P <0.01). The area under ROC curve was 0.936 (95% CI 0.895 ± 0.977 ) on MELD score and 0. 890 (95 % CI 0.839 ± 0.941 ) on PT, and there was no significant difference between them. Conclusions Both MELD score and PT can accurately predict the short-term prognosis of hepatitis B patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure. The validity of prognosis by MELD is similar to PT. The mortality increases with the MELD score and PT increasing.
7.Assessment methods and research progress of blood glucose variability
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2010;26(3):261-264
Recently, basic and clinical researches have shown that blood glucose variability is an independent risk factor for diabetic complications. Thus, ideal control of blood glucose is not only to reach the HbA1Ctarget,but also to minimize blood glucose variability.Different glycemic parameters could be selectedaccording to different purpose of evaluation,in which the mean amplitude of glucose excursions(MAGE) and the standard deviation of blood glucose (SDBG) could be used as accurate and simple assessment parameters respectively.
8.Clinical application value of whole-brain CTA-CTP imaging in cerebral arteriovenous malformation
Journal of Practical Radiology 2016;32(12):1834-1837
Objective To explore the clinical application value of whole-brain CTA-CTP imaging in cerebral arteriovenous malformation (cAVM).Methods Fifteen patients diagnosed with cAVM by CTA-CTP imaging were included in this retrospective analysis study. The angioarchitecture of cAVM lesions were recorded from 4D-CTA images.Using DSA as the golden standard, the diagnostic accuracy of 4D-CTA was evaluated in 13 cases. The perfusion patterns of vessel nidus and peritumoral tissues were analyzed from the CTP images.Bleeding ratios of patients with different angioarchitecture and perfusion patterns were compared. Results 4D-CTA could dynamically display the angioarchitecture details of cAVM lesions and show the whole process of the contrast agent in and out of the vessel nidus.Although the result of 4D-CTA was consistent with that of DSA in most cases,a few fine feeding arteries and draining veins were missed. The nidus in thirteen cases was with high perfusion and the peritumoral tissues were with low perfusion.Another two cases were with low perfusion due to the presence of hematoma.Nine cAVMs suffered from small size, single feeding artery, deep venous drainage and vessel nidus with increased MTT,peritumoral tissues with decreased MTT were more likely to suffer a hemorrhage (P<0.05).Conclusion Whole-brain CTA-CTP imaging could be a valuable adjunct in noninvasive diagnosis of cAVM and predicting the bleeding risk factors.
