AIM:To compare the influence of anterior chamber maintainer and viscoelastic agent on corneal astigmatism and endothelial cells after phacoemulsification.METHODS:Totally 70 patients(70 eyes) of cataract from April 2013 to April 2015 were randomly divided into the study group and the control group, with 35 cases in each group.The study group were treated with anterior chamber maintainer during phacoemulsification with support system approach, and the control group were treated with phacoemulsification under viscoelastic agent.RESULTS:The age (t=0.215, P=0.831), the density of corneal endothelial cells (t=-0.352, P=0.726) and corneal luminosity (t=-0.162, P=0.872) of two groups had no significant difference before surgery;there were no significant difference in preoperative visual acuity (t=0.463, P=0.599) and visual acuity (t=1.616, P=0.124) at 1mo after operation.And patients in the study group (t=-21.129, P<0.01) and the control group (t=-12.780, P<0.01) before surgery and 1mo postoperative when compared with the naked eye eyesight showed significant difference.The visual acuity after operations improved significantly.There were significant differences of corneal endothelial cells density (t=8.489, P< 0.01) and corneal astigmatism (t=-2.032, P=0.046) in the study group before surgery and 1mo after surgery;corneal endothelial cell density (t=8.999, P<0.01) and corneal astigmatism (t=-2.167, P=0.034) in the control group before surgery and 1mo after surgery also had significant differences.There was no significant difference in the rate of corneal endothelial cell loss between the two groups (t=0.410, P=0.683).CONCLUSION:Compared with viscoelastic agent, anterior chamber maintainer during phacoemulsification in patients with cataract won't increase the damage of postoperative surgically induced astigmatism and corneal endothelial cells, which mean the method of anterior chamber maintainer during phacoemulsification in the treatment of cataract is safe and effective.

Aim To explore the function of immune modulation of anti-HBV iRNA in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB) Methods Peripheral blood lymphocyte iRNA was prepared from anti-HBs positive human body with HBV complete clearance after HBV infection(h-iRNA). The effect of h-iRNA on HBV specific lymphocyte proliferative response of peripheral lymphocyte from patients with CHB was observed by using MTT method and was compared with that by HBV specific iRNA from animal immunized only by HBsAg(a-iRNA).Results Both h-iRNA and a-iRNA increased the level of peripheral lymphocyte proliferative response to HBsAg in patients with CHB to some degree. In group of HBcAg, only h-iRNA showed its enhancement of HBcAg specific lymphocyte proliferative response.Conclusions h-iRNA can increase HBV specific lymphocyte proliferative response in patients with CHB and the function of increasing HBcAg specific lymphocyte proliterative response contributes to HBV clearance .

Objective To investigate the expression of S100A11 protein in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and its association with clinical and pathological characteristics.Methods The expressions of S100A11 protein in 112 NSCLC tumor tissues (group A), tumor-adjacent tissues (group B) and 10 normal lung tissues (group C) were detected by immunohistochemical SP method.The association of S100A11 expression with clinical pathological characteristics was analyzed.Results The percentage of the cases with high expression cases of S100A11 protein was 78.6％ (88/112) , and the low expression rate was 21.4 ％ (24/112) in group A.The low expression rate of S100A11 protein was 100.0％ (112/112) in group B.The negative expression rate of S100A11 protein was 100.0％ (10/10) in group C.The difference of S100A11 expression among the three groups was statistically significant (x2 =153.634, P ＜0.001).The S100A11 expression was associated with pathological type (x2 =6.807, P =0.009), differentiated degree (x2 =5.029, P =0.025), regional lymph node metastasis (x2 =11.721, P =0.001) in NSCLC, but it was not associated with gender (x2 =0.020, P =0.888) , age (x2 =0.816, P =0.366) and tumor size (x2 =0.406, P =0.524).Conclusion S100A11 is highly expressed in NSCLC, which is closely related with biological behavioral characteristics.S100A11 may participate in the occurrence and development of NSCLC, and it is expected to become the potential target of diagnosis and prognosis in patients with NSCLC.

Objective We aimed to explore the expression of FHIT and investigate its correlation with clinicopathological features and prognosis of gallbladder carcinoma.Method Immunohistoehemieal detection of FHIT was performed on samples from 43 gallbladder carcinoma and 43 cholecystitis,and 2 years follow up was performed.Result FHIT protein was overexpressed in eholecystitis(x2=31.74,P=0.000).The overexpression was significantly related to differentiation and Nevin staging of gallbladder carcinoma(x2=4.47,P=0.035;x2=8.33,P=0.015);(rs=-0.56,P=0.031;rs=-0.68,P=0.014).Log-rank test showed that overexpression of FHIT had a good prognosis(x2=4.11,P=0.042).Cox analysis showed that expression of FHIT was all independent prognostic marker for postresectional survival of gallbladder carcinoma(RR:2.89,95%CI[2.46-3.32]).Conclusion Loss expression of FHIT closely correlated with clinicopathological features of gallbladder carcinoma.The expression of FHIT was an independent prognostic marker for post-resectional survival of gallbladder carcinoma.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of lamivudine in preventing liver injury induced by anti-tuberculosis drugs in hepatitis B virus(HBV)carriers.Methods One hundred and ten HBV carriers treated with anti-tuberculosis drugs were randomly divided into lamivudine group and control group.Patients in both groups were treated with conventional anti-tuberculosis drugs (isoniazid,rifampicin,pyrazinamide,streptomycin or ethambutol)for 6-8 months.However, patients in lamivudine group were treated with lamivudine 100 mg orally dairy concomitantly.Before and after treatment,the clinical manifestation,liver function and serum HBV DNA level of patients were evaluated.Statistical analysis was performed using t test and x~2 test.Results During 6-8 months of treatment,the incidence rate of liver injury was 9.1% in lamivudine group,while it was 38.2% in control group(P0.05).Conclusion Lamivudine is effective and safe in reducing liver injury induced by anti-tuberculosis drugs in HBV carriers.

ObjectiveTo study effect of Herba Erigerontis on metabolites in cerebral ischemia rats with high-resolution magic angle spinning 1H nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(HR MAS 1H NMR). Methods18 male Wistar rats, weighing 150～200 g, were randomly divided into 3 groups such as normal (n=6), ischemia (n=6), Herba Erigerontis treatment (n=6). Rat ischemia model was established with middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO), reperfusing or dosed with Herba Erigerontis after 3 h ischemia. The metabolites, including N-acetylaspartate (NAA), creatine (Cre), choline (Cho), glutamate (Glu), and aspartate (Asp) etc., of cerebra and cerebella was observed using HR MAS 1H NMR. ResultsExcluding Cho, Glu, Asp, the concentrations of most metabolites of rat brain during ischemia were significantly lower than that of normal rats, and could be increased after drug treatment. ConclusionHerba Erigerontis shows positive effect on metabolites in cerebral ischemia rats.
