International Eye Science 2014;(10):1882-1883
AIM: To evaluate the effect of hexuemingmu tablet on retinal vein occlusion ( ROV) .
METHODS: Totally, 108 patients of 112 eyes were divided into two groups randomly. One group including 55 patients ( 55 eyes ) were treated by hexuemingmu tablet, the other group including 53 patients ( 57 eyes ) were treated by danhong injection. The visual acuity, fundus and FFA were evaluated before and after treatment.
RESULTS: The total effective rate in the group treated by hexuemingmu tablet was 98%, and that in control group was 82%. The hemorrhage was absorbed much more quickly than control group. Two group were different from each other in statistics (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: Hexuemingmu tablet can accelerate hemorrhage absorbing and improve visual acuity in RVO treatment.
2.Relationship between meso-hippocampal dopaminergic projections and hippocampal P300-like potentials in rats
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(10):-
AIM: To evaluate the role of the meso-hippocampal dopaminergic systems in the generation of hippocampal P300-like potentials. METHODS: Changes of ventral hippocampal P300-like potentials were examined after lesions of the meso-hippocampal dopaminergic systems. The extracellular DA and DOPAC were collected by the push-pull method in the ventral and dorsal hippocampus and their contents were measured by high-performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection(HPLC-EC). RESULTS: The contents of DA and DOPAC in the ventral hippocampus were higher than those in the dorsal hippocampus in the normal animals. The peak latencies of P300-like potentials were prolonged and the contents of DA and DOPAC decreased in the ventral hippocampi after lesions of the meso-hippocampal dopaminergic systems. CONCLUSIONS: There exist meso-hippocampal dopaminergic systems in rats; The meso-hippocampal dopaminergic terminals is mainly located in the ventral hippocampal area in rats; The meso-hippocampal dopaminergic projections take part in the generation of the hippocampal P300-like potentials in rats.
5.Study on GFAP changes of astrocyte and expression of endothelin-1 in brainstem injury of human being
Chinese Journal of Forensic Medicine 1986;0(01):-
Objective To study GFAP changes of astrocyte and expression of Endothelin-1 in molecular pathology in brainstem injury of human being and explore its forensic medical significance. Method 15 brain specimens of acute brainstem injury and 5 brain specimens of no brainstem injury in different time were selected and their microscopic morphological changes were observed with HE staining, and we study the pathological changes of GFAP of astrocyte and expression of Endothelin-1 in monoclonal antibody im-munohistochemistry SP method. Results The number of GFAP positive cells was increased, the bulk of the cell became bigger and expression of Endothelin-1 could be observed. Conclusion The above pathological changes might be a valuable base used for postmortem diagnosis of acute brainstem injury.

8.Effects of traditional Chinese medicine for invigorating spleen to resolve dampness and dredging collaterals on patients with rheumatoid arthritis and anemia
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2006;4(4):348-54
OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical effects of Xinfeng Capsules (XFC), a traditional Chinese medicine for invigorating the spleen to resolve dampness and dredging collaterals, on patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and anemia, and to investigate its mechanism. METHODS: Forty patients with RA and anemia were divided into three groups: XFC-treated group (n=20), Tripterygium glycosides Tablets (TGT)-treated group (n=10) and methotrexate (MTX)-treated group (n=10). The patients in each group took corresponding medicine for three months. The response rates of the three groups were evaluated after treatment. The general symptoms and specific signs and symptoms of RA were observed before and after the treatment. The indexes of blood routine examination and some other laboratory indexes such as erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and blood levels of rheumatoid factor (RF), iron, C-reaction protein (CRP), immunoglobins (Ig), complements 3 and 4, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), interleukin-10 (IL-10) and erythropoietin (EPO) were all examined and compared before and after treatment. RESULTS: The total response rate in the XFC-treated group was similar to those both in the TGT-treated and MTX-treated groups. The effects on relieving specific symptoms of RA in the three groups were also similar. The ESR and serum levels of RF, CRP, IgG, IgA and IgM were all decreased after treatment as compared with those before treatment in the three groups, and there were no significant differences among those laboratory indexes in the three groups after treatment. The XFC displayed more obvious effects on improving the general symptoms of patients with RA and anemia, increasing the blood levels of hemoglobin, iron and IL-10, while decreasing the serum level of TNF-alpha and regulating the serum EPO level, as compared with those in the TGT-treated and MTX-treated groups. CONCLUSION: The XFC for invigorating the spleen to resolve dampness and dredging collaterals was developed on the basic principle of regulating spleen. It can obviously improve the symptoms and laboratory indicators of RA. Such effects may be related to maintaining the balance of cytokines, regulating the serum level of EPO and increasing the serum iron level in patients with RA and anemia.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2005;0(12):-
Objective To evaluate the effect of pneumatic ureteroscopic lithotripsy(URSL) for ureteral calculi.MethodsA total of 378 cases of ureteral calculi received URSL in our hospital by using F8/9.8 Wolf rigid ureteroscope and EMS Ⅱ pneumatic lithotripter(Switzerland).Among the cases,213 had calculi at the left side,158 at the right side, and 7 at the both sides;81 had the stones in the upper ureter,146 in the middle segment, and 158 in the lower part. Results In the cases,313 patients(320 sides) were cured after the first operation with a success rate of 82.8%(313/378).The success rates for the upper, middle, and lower ureteral calculi were 60.5%(49/81),84.2%(123/146),and 93.7%(148/158),respectively.The stones were removed completed in 1 to 8 weeks after the procedure.Fifteen patients were converted to an open surgery. In 3 patients, the URSL were stopped due to failure in placing the ureteroscope. The main postoperative complications in our series included perforation of the ureter(8 cases) and fever(13).Conclusions USRL is a safe, minimally invasive, and effective treatment. It should be the first choice for middle and lower ureteral calculi.
10.The relationship between serum uric acid and percutaneous oxygen partial pressure in patients with type 2 diabetes
Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2015;(4):345-348
Objective To explorethe relationship between serum uric acid (SUA ) and transcutaneousoxygenpressure(TcPO2)inpatientswithT2DM.Methods 622hospitalizedpatients with T2DM were recruited and divided into high SUA (HUA) group and normal SUA (T2DM) group. The differences in TcPO2 (initial value ,stable value ,initial value‐stable value ,leg‐raising initial value and leg‐raising maximum value)were compared between two groups. The correlations between SUA and TcPO2 were evaluated. Results The levels of TcPO2 were lower in HUA group than in T2DM group [initial value:left (34.05 ± 13.17) vs (39.26 ± 15.82) ,right (34.71 ± 14.90) vs (40.15 ± 16.23);stable value:left (38.93 ± 12.23) vs(45.19 ± 13.40) ,right (39.98 ± 12.34) vs (45.90 ± 16.77) ,P<0.05]. Pearson correlation analysis showed that the SUA levels negatively related with the stable TcPO2 value of leftor right side ,and with the change between the initial value and the stable value of TcPO2 (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The multiple linear regression analysis showed that SUA level was the impact factorof the left TcPO2 stable value. Conclusion HUA may be one of the risk factors microcirculation disorder in T2DM patients.
