This study aims to investigate the preparation process and in vitro release behavior of artesunate polylactic acid microspheres, in order to prepare an artesunate polylactic acid (PLA) administration method suitable for hepatic arterial embolization. With PLA as the material and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as the emulsifier, O/W emulsion/solvent evaporation method was adopted to prepare artesunate polylactic acid microspheres, and optimize the preparation process. With drug loading capacity, encapsulation efficiency and particle size as indexes, a single factor analysis was made on PLA concentration, PVA concentration, drug loading ratio and stirring velocity. Through an orthogonal experiment, the optimal processing conditions were determined as follows: PLA concentration was 9. 0% , PVA concentration was 0. 9% , drug loading ratio was 1:2 and stirring velocity was 1 000 r x min(-1). According to the verification of the optimal process, microsphere size, drug loading and entrapment rate of artesunate polylactic acid microspheres were (101.7 +/- 0.37) microm, (30.8 +/- 0.84)%, (53.6 +/- 0.62)%, respectively. The results showed that the optimal process was so reasonable and stable that it could lay foundation for further studies.

Background The select of supporter is critical for the construction of tissue engineering cornea. Many carrier carl be utilized in the construction of tissue engineering cornea, but de-cellular corneal matrix is known to be one of optimal supporters. Objective Present study was to investigate the characteristics of de-cellular corneal matrix of porcine of structure and biocompatibility for rabbit cornea stroma and limbal epithelial ceHs. Methods The porcine cornea was prepared as de-cellular corneal matrix of porcine by the application of detergent enzyme combined process. The corneal epithelial cells, keratocyte and endothelial cells of porcine were removed completely and stored in -20℃ refrigerator after sterilization. The morphology of de-cellular corneal matrix of porcine was examined by hematoxylin-eosin staining under the light microscope. The structure characteristics of de.cellular corneal matrix of porcine under the scan electron microscope, and its physics features were investigated by the evaluation of water content, strength, expansion and transparency. The de-cellular corneal matrix of porcine were implanted to cornea stroma of rabbit and co-cultured with rabbit corneal epithelial cells for 4 weeks in vitro to assess the keracyte compatibility. Results The epithelial cells, keratocyte and endothelial cells of porcine were removed completely by trypsogen digestion. The collagen fibril network and collagen plates paralleled to corneal surface under the light microscope. The water content, strength, expansion。Ratio of light transparency of de-cellular corneal matrix of porcine were similar to normal porcine cornea. After implantation of de.cellular comeal matrix of porcine into rabbits corneal stroma, the edema of tissue was found in one week, and edema disappeared on two weeks and became clear on four weeks after surgery. The de-cellular eorneal matrix attached to rabbit cornea stroma well.No inflammatory eell and new vessel were found after surgery. The co-cultured rabbit corneal epithelial cells differentiated and proliferated on the surfaee of de-cellular corneal matrix and showed positive response for CK3.No statistically significant differences were found in the water content, strength, expansion of de-cellular cornea matrix of porcine among the normal, before dehydration,2 and 4 hours after dehydration cornea matrix(P>0.05).However,the transparency was much better in the corneal matrix with 2-hour,4-hour dehydration in comparison with non-dehydration one(P<0.05). Conclusion The structure features of de-cellular cornea matrix of porcine are similar to normal porcine cornea.Good biocompatibility is proved for xenogenesis of rabbit cornea.

Objective To study the influence of periacetabular muscle contraction on acetabular] fractures. Methods Twenty intact adult cadaveric pelvis(40 hip joints)treated antiseptically with bilat- eral 1/2 femoral shafts were selected and divided randomly into two groups(20 hip joints in each group). Then, the specimens were trimmed to fit the RMT-150B rock mechanics measuring system and the special in- creasing pressure system. After pressure of 3 500 N was pressed to the control group and pressure of 4500 N to the experimental group, acetabular fracture model was made by beatening with special striking machine, when striking force was recorded. Results We made forty aeetabular fracture models from 40 cadaveric hips. Pearson correlation coefficient of pressing force and striking force was -0.923(P<0.01).The striking force of the control group and the experimental group was 445-550 N and 290-400 N,respectively(t= 14.727,P<0.01).Conclusion The increase of contraction force of the periaeetabular muscles can decrease aeetabular stress and strain, influence the result of violent injury and play a vital role in inducing acetabular fractures.

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical manifestation, mechanism and optimal treatment of hydronephrosis after spinal cord injury. Methods58 slight and moderate cases were retrospectively analyzed. ResultsThere were no differences in the remitted time among the therapies of indwelling catheter, intermittent catheterization and medicine, mixed therapy. 56 (96.55%) SCI hydronephrosis remitted after treatment, 28(48.28%) recurred within 3 months. The recurrence rate of the patients with detrusor sphincter dyssynergia (57.14%) was higher than that of the detrusor hyperreflexia (28.57%) and the detrusor hyporeflexia (14.29%). The recurrence was associated with the fact that many patients couldn't keep up with the systematic therapy.ConclusionThe onset of SCI hydronephrosis is indistinct and recurrent easily. Keeping up with intermittent catheterization and taking medicine can prevent SCI hydronephrosis recurrence effectively.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the efficacy and safety of three different spinal rotation manipulations for the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.
METHODSFrom September 2011 to April 2013,180 patients diagnosed as lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into seat fixed rotation group (A), lateral position rotation group (B) and supine position rotation group (C) by using a digital table. Finally 10 patients were excluded and dropped, 170 patients were included in the study. There were 57 patients in group A, 57 patients in group B and 56 patients in group C. Baseline demographic characteristics of patients, clinical findings and indexes of health status had no statistically differences among three groups (P > 0.05). The manipulation was performed every other day, and the treatment duration for all patients was 3 weeks. Body pain (BP), Physical function (PF) in SF-36, Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) and adverse reactions were observed statistically 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, one year and two years after finishing treatment.
RESULTSBP, PF scores in 3 groups were significantly improved and ODI scores were significantly lower than those before treatment and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); However, there was no significant difference among three groups in the BP, PF and ODI scores (P > 0.05). There were no obvious and serious adverse reactions among these groups.
CONCLUSIONBased on the theory of dislocation of bone joints in TCM, three kinds of spinal rotation manipulations can be used safely for the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, and the efficacy was similar.

Six flavonol glycosides were isolated and calibrated from Ginkgo biloba extract, and then used to calibrate the content in 2 baiches of G. biloba reference extract, so was rutin. RSD values of rutin, kaempferol-3-O-rutinoside, kaempferol-3-O-rhamnoside-2-glu- coside, quercetin-3-O-rhamnop-yranosyl-2-O-(6-O-p-coumaroyl)-glucoside, kaempferol-3-O-rhamnopyranosyl-2-O-(6-O-p-coum-aroyl) - glucoside were around 1.1%-4.6%, nevertheless, RSD values of quercetin-3-O-glucoside and isorhamnetin-3-O-rutinoside were more than 5%. According to the results, the reference extract of G. biloba can be used as the substitute to determine rutin, kaempferol-3-O- rutinoside, kaempferol-3-O-rhamnoside-2-glucoside, quercetin-3-O-rhamnopyranosyl-2-O-(6-O-p-coumaroyl)-glucoside and kaempferol-3-0-rhamnopyranosyl-2-O-(6-O-p-coumaroyl)-glucoside instead of corresponding reference substances. So reference extract in place of single component reference in assay is feasible.
