ObjectiveTo investigate the significance of Chinese medicine nursing intervention on community diabetes patients in order to improve their quality of life. Methods216 non- hospitalized community diabetic patients with clear diagnosis were divided into the experimental group and the control group with 108 cases in each group. The experimental group was given medication treatment and health ed-ucation as well as Chinese medicine intervention, the control group was only given medication treatment ac-cording to doctors' advice, the body weight index, biochemical index, medical compliance rate and their changes with time were compared after 6,12,18,24 months of follow-up. Resultsafter two-year follow-up, the body mass index, blood glucose and HbAlc of both groups declined, the experimental group was lower than the control group, patients compliance of both groups increased, blood pressure change of both groups was not obvious, the difference was not significant. ConclusionsLong-term implementation of Chinese medicine nursing on diabetes patients have significant effect, which is worthy of wide application in the community.

Objective To study the effect of Danggui Buxue Decoction on red cell immune function in mice with morphine abstinence syndrome. Methods 50 mice were randomly divided into normal group,positive control group, high, medium, low dose group,Hindlimb injection of morphine in morphine dependent mice model was established.Erythrocyte membrane were measured in five groups of mice micro viscosity, erythrocyte deformation index; Determination of red cell immune complex rosette rate using the method (CIC), red cell C3b receptor rosette rate;and to observe the five group of regulator factor enhance rate (RFER) and immune adherence inhibitor factor (RFIR) levels.Results Erythrocyte membrane microviscosity in model group were significantly higher than those in normal group, medium group and low group (P<0.05),red cell deformability index was lower than that of normal group, drug medium group and drug group low (P<0.05).Drug high group and medium group,immune complex rosette rate lower than in model group(P<0.05), C3b receptor rosette rate was significantly higher than that in the model group (P<0.05).Conclusion Low dose group and high dose group Danggui Buxue Decoction raises the red cell immune function in morphine withdrawal mice, improves the withdrawal symptoms, rapids rehabilitation of the body, has good clinical value.

Action for Health in Diabetes( Look AHEAD) trial showed that an intensive lifestyle intervention focusing on weight loss did not reduce the rate of cardiovascular events in overweight or obese adult patients with type 2 diabetes. However, the intensive lifestyle intervention improved the control levels of the risk factors for cardiovascular disease, attenuated the obesity-associated comorbidities, and improved the quality of life in these patients.

Objective To investigate the expression of COX-2, VEGF, MMP-2 and P-g]ycoprotein in carcinoma of stomach and its significance. Method The expressions of COX-2, VEGF and P-glycoprotein inside and beside the tumor tissues of 57 cases carcinoma of stomach were detected with immunohistochemistry method. Result The expressions of COX-2, VEGF, MMP-2 and P-glyeoprotein inside the tumor tissues were significantly higher than that beside the tumor(χ2 = 5.29,5.37,5.62,4.87 ; P < 0.05). The expressions of COX-2, VEGF and MMP-2 were different among different carcinoma metastasis (χ2 = 5.97, 6.17,6.09 ; P < 0.05). P-glucoprotein expressions were positive correlated with gastric cancer(rs' = 0.674,0.65,0.67 ; P < 0.05). Conclusion COX-2, VGEF, MMP-2 and P-glyeopretein were some correlated and overexpressed in stomach carcinoma, which may take part in the genesis, development and multi-drug resistance of this cancer.

The management of hyperglycemia in the intensive care unit(ICU)patients has been concerned in recent years.Epidemiological data show that the occurrence of severe hyperglycemia is associated with increased mortality and morbidity in ICU patients.Several large scale trials about intensive glycemic control in the critically ill patients were carried out,but reached disparate conclusions.Based on the latest clinical research evidences,the optimal target range of blood glucose Level in ICU patients seems to be 7.8-10 mmol/L.However,the target should be individualized in clinical practice.Both hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia should be carefully avoided.

Objective To investigate the effects of different dose of edible liquor on cardiac structure and function in rats ,and explore its underlying mechanisms .Methods 54 male SD rats were randomly divided into saline group ,alcohol group ,liquor group , each group were further divided into low-,middle-and high-dose groups .After 12 weeks of feeding ,left ventricular pressure was de-termined ,and left ventricular pressure amplitude and indexes of HW /BW were calculated .Myocardial fibrosis was observed by Masson staining ,AngⅡ content of myocardial tissue were detected by ELISA ,and ACE and ACE2 mRNA expressions were detec-ted by RT-PCR ,respectively .Results Left ventricular pressure amplitude and HW/BW index were increased by both liquor and al-cohol .The myocardial cell turbidity ,degeneration ,hyperplasia of fibrous tissue change were gradually worsened ,and the AngⅡ con-tents and the ACEmRNA expressions of the myocardial tissue were also increased by both liquor and alcohol .The ACE2 mRNA ex-pression of the myocardial tissue were higher by low-dose liquor and alcohol ,while the ACE2 mRNA expression of the myocardial tissue were lower by middle-and high-dose liquor and alcohol .Conclusion Long-term alcohol consumption can damage the balance of cardiac ACE and ACE2 ,causing the increase of ACE ,AngⅡ and the decrease of ACE2 ,resulting in myocardial fibrosis ,whose degree is related to the amount of alcohol consumption and drinking history .

Objective To report three-year-old twin brothers with speech stunting.Methods The clinical program of twin brothers with speech stunting were reported.Results The development quotient of Neuropsychological Developing Table of 0 to 6 Years-Old Nurselings was 59 for elder brother,and 57 for the younger.PET showed hypogenesis in the frontal lobe.Their linguistic rating showed both speech stunting,and the brain-audition evoked potential and the autistic evaluation(ABC and CARs)were normal.Conclusion The etiology of twin brothers' speech developing disorders is related with heredity,brain development,and speech environment,but the exact cause is being further studied.

Objective To investigate the influence of genistein(Gen) on the growth and apoptosis regulation of hepatoma carcinoma cells SMMC-7721.Methods SMMC-7721 cells were divided into three Gen groups treated with different concentrations(5.0,10.0,20.0 mg?L-1) and control group(without Gen).After SMMC-7721 cells were treated for 24 and 48 h,the changes of ultrastructure of cells were observed under electron microscope, MTT was used to detect the inhibitory rate of proliferation of SMMC-7721 cells,flow cytometry was performed to analyze cell phase;immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of Caspases-3 protein.Results Compared with control group,chromatin in cellular nucleus became conglomeration or lumping,with chondriosome swelling in Gen groups.With the increasing of Gen concentration,the cellular nucleus became condensed,heterochromatin agglutinating,ground cytoplasm obviously cavitating;with the increase of Gen concentration and prolongation of time,from 24 to 48 h,MTT showed the inhibitory rate of proliferation of SMMC-7721 cells increased in a time-and dose-dependent manner.Flow cytometry analysis showed that with the increase of Gen concentration,the number of cells at G2/M phase increased,the number of cells at S phase decreased and the ratio of G0/G1 also decreased.Immunohistochemistry results showed the expression of protein Caspases-3 increased with the Gen concentration in a dose-dependent manner(P
