AIM: To investigate the effect and safety of laser peripheral iridoplasty combined with iridectomy in the unmanageable acute angle - closure glaucoma by medication.
METHODS:Totally 19 cases (21 eyes) with acute angle-closure glaucoma, including 15 cases ( 17 eyes ) with primary glaucoma and 4 cases (4 eyes) with intumescent cataract - induced glaucoma, were recruited into the study. The intraocular pressure ( IOP ) of all cases were still >21mmHg after 24h drug treatment, and then were treated by laser peripheral iridoplasty combined with iridectomy. The visual accurity, IOP, cornea, peripheral anterior chamber depth, anterior chamber angle and complications were observed at 24h after the surgery.
RESULTS:The mean IOP of all cases was reduced from 53. 09±11. 01mmHg before the surgery to 14. 98±4. 21mmHg at 24h after the treatment, with significant statistical difference ( P< 0. 01 ). The visual acurity of all cases increased in different degrees from handle move to 0. 3 to 0-1-1. 0 at 24h after the treatment. In all cases, cornea edema reduced or cleared up, peripheral anterior chamber depth increased, and anterior chamber angle reopened in different degrees. Complications included iris hemorrhage in 11 eyes (52. 4%), mild iritis in 21 eyes (100%). No cornea burn was encountered.
CONCLUSION: Laser peripheral iridoplasty combined with iridectomy is an effective and safe method for the treatment of the unmanageable acute angle - closure glaucoma by medication.

Objective To observe the effect of Hydroxycamptothecin (HCPT) on proliferation of human lung cancer cell line A549 in vitro. Method Using cell calture and MTT assay to observe the effect of HCPT on proliferation of human lung cancer cell line A549. Result Lower concentration of HCPT had no evident inhibitory effect on the human lung cancer cell line A549 after 24 h. The effect was evident when the concentration of HCPT was up to 50 ?g/mL, and the inhibitory rate was 44.17%. The inhibitory rate was 50.28% when the concentration of HCPT was up to 100 ?g/mL. The inhibitory effect of HCPT became more significant with the stimulation of the time, and the inhibitory rate of 100 ?g/mL concentration of HCPT was 70.98% after 48 h. Conclusions HCPT can inhibit the proliferation of human lung cancer cell A549 in vitro. The effect is dose and time dependent.

Objective To explore the value of real‐time three‐dimensional speckle tracking imaging (RT‐3D‐STI) in the early detection of globle and regional left ventricular myocardial systolic function in patients of coronary stenosis without regional wall motion abnormality. Methods 64 coronary stenosis patients without regional wall motion abnormality were divided into 2 groups according to angiography (CAG):without coronary stenosis group( n = 20) and coronary stenosis group ( n = 44), and all the myocardial segments of the patients were divided into 5 groups:without coronary stenosis group normal myocardial segments ( n = 340 ), coronary stenosis group normal myocardial segments ( n = 235 ), mild coronary stenosis myocardial segments( n = 126), moderate coronary stenosis myocardial segments( n =213) and severe coronary stenosis myocardial segments( n =174). Real‐time three‐dimensional full volume of left ventricle was obtained, left ventricular global area strain (GAS)and regional area strain(AS) of 17 myocardial segments, etc, were measured by RT‐3D‐STI respectively. The parameters between the two groups and among the five sub groups were compared, the correlation between GAS and coronary artery Gensini score was also analyzed. Results GAS in coronary stenosis group significantly reduced compared with without coronary stenosis group( P <0 0.5) S.egmental AS gradually reduced with the increasing of the degree of the coronary stenosis. There was no statistically difference of segmental AS among without coronary artery group normal myocardial segments, coronary stenosis group normal myocardial segments and mild coronary stenosis myocardial segments( P >0 0.5) S.egmental AS in moderate and severe coronary stenosis myocardial segments significantly reduced ( P < 0.05 ), and that in severe coronary stenosis myocardial segments was lower than that in moderate coronary stenosis myocardial segments, the differences were statistically significant ( P < 0.05 ). In addition, GAS was significantly correlated with coronary artery Gensini score( r =0.828, P <0.01). Conclusions RT‐3D‐STI can quantitatively assess the early changes of left ventricular globle and regional myocardial systolic function in patients with coronary stenosis.

Objective To detect the expression levels of serum alpha fetal protein (AFP),carbohydrate antigen 199(CA-199) and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA) in a rat model of liver cancer and elderly liver cancer patients,and explore its clinical significance.Methods A rat model of liver cancer was successfully established by intraperitoneal injection of a low dose of diethylnitrosamine (DEN).The expression levels of serum AFP,CA-199 and CEA in rats were determined and compared during the development of liver cancer.Blood samples were collected from elderly subjects with normal liver and elderly liver cancer patients(n=80,each).The expressions of serum AFP,CA-199 and CEA were determined and compared between healthy elderly patients and elderly liver cancer patients.Results Serum levels of AFP,CA-199 and CEA were higher in liver cancer rats than in normal rats [(4.21±1.32) μg/Lvs.(1.05±0.33) μg/L,(3.78±1.04) kU/L vs.(1.00±0.28) kU/L,(3.54±0.92) μg/Lvs.(1.10±0.37) μg/L,t=9.493,8.609,7.675,respectively,all P=0.000].Serum AFP,CA-199 and CEA levels were higher in elderly patients with liver cancer than in elderly subjects with normal liver [(66.89±9.33) μg/L vs.(2.56±1.09) μg/L,(116.89±43.33) kU/L vs.(5.56±1.26) kU/L,(5.83 ± 1.56) μg/L vs.(1.17 ± 0.51) μg/L(t=14.379,17.470,10.677,respectively,all P=0.000).The positive rate of joint detection of AFP,CA-199 and CEA was higher in elderly patients with liver cancer than in elderly subjects with normal liver [77.50％ (62/80) vs.1.25％(1/80),x2 =17.260,P=0.000].Conclusions The joint detection of AFP,CA-199 and CEA can help increase the diagnostic rate of liver cancer in elderly patients.

Objective:To explore the effect of stage target intervention on mental state, quality of life and prognosis of spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage, so as to provide reference for improving the quality of life and prognosis of patients with spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage.Methods:A total of 261 patients with spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage from June 2017 to June 2019 in Beijing Union Hospital were selected as the research subjects. Patients were divided into the observation group (131 cases) and the control group (130 cases) by the random number table method. The control group was treated with routine nursing intervention, and the observation group applied stage target intervention based on the control group. The psychological state, quality of life and prognosis of the two groups were evaluated by Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), modified Rankin Scale (mRS), Stroke Specific Quality of Life scale (SS-QOL).Results:There were no significant differences in SAS, SDS, mRS, SS-QOL before intervention between the two groups ( P >0.05) . After intervention, the scores of energy, family role, language, activity, emotion, personality, self-care ability, social role, upper limb function, work / labor and total scores of SS-QOL in the two groups were all increased ( P < 0.05), and the increase of energy, family role, language, activity, emotion, personality, self-care ability, social role, upper limb function, work / labor and total scores of SS-QOL in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P < 0.05). After intervention, the scores of SAS, SDS and mRS were (42.07±4.14), (43.09±4.79), (3.06±0.42) points in the observation group and (51.83±4.65), (54.82±4.92), (3.57±0.50) points in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( t values were 17.912, 19.516, 8.925, P < 0.05). Conclusions:Stage target intervention can improve the anxiety and depression of patients with spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage, improve the quality of life, and reduce the incidence of poor prognosis.
