Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(19):-
This paper reviews the clinical application characteristics of artificial skin for external used in the treatment of burn wound at recent years. Skin is the important organ to protect the environmental stability in vivo, resist the outside invasion, evacuate moisture and regulate body temperature, as well as one component of immunity system. Subsequent to the burn injury, various damages of the organism may be related to the loss of skin barrier. Epidermal substitutes comprise the epidermal cells growing on the degradable matrix or polymer film; While dermal substitutes are shaped as a matrix with active bacterium or without cells, and they can induce the migration and proliferation of fibroblasts, together with the secretion of extracellular matrix; Full skin substitutes include both epidermal ones and dermal ones. With the progress on the biomedicines and the materials, the research regarding artificial skin also develops. However, it is still a key problem to construct an ideal artificial skin, which contains vessels and innervation, skin accessory structure and physiological function of normal skin.
2.Tissue engineering combined with mosaicplasty to promote healing and integration of the osteochondral defects
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2004;0(11):-
Objective To develop a new method, the bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs)-mediated tissue engineering technique combined with mosaicplasty, for repair of osteochondral defects and integration of gaps. Methods BMSCs from 12 Chinese goats were cultured and proliferated in vitro. Prior to the BMSCs harvest, osteochondral defects, 5 mm in diameter and 3 mm in depth, were created in the femoral medial condyles of both the goat's hind limbs. When the mosaicplasty (osteochondral autograft transplantation) was performed, the BMSCs, which had been harvested and compounded with hyaluronic acid, were injected into the gaps between the osteochondral autografts in the left hind limb. The right hind limb which only received osteochondral autograft transplantation without BMSCs served as a control. At four, eight and 16 weeks post-operatively, samples of the repaired defects were harvested and assessed by histological evaluation, immunohistochemical analysis and glycosaminoglycan (GAG) quantification. In both groups 16 weeks post-operatively, the GAG quantification was analyzed by one-way ANOVA and least significant difference (LSD) method. Results At all the time points, the cartilage autografts in both groups survived as hyaline cartilage and presented no significant difference from the surrounding native cartilage. In the group filled with BMSCs compound, the gaps were replaced by regenerated hyaline cartilage and disappeared; however, in the control group, the osteochondral autografts were still distinct from the surrounding normal cartilage, though the gaps were replaced by fibrous tissue or fibrous cartilage. Immunohistochemical analysis of typeⅡcollagen showed positive staining in the matrix of transplanted and regenerated cartilage. The Alcian blue method also confirmed a significantly less GAG content in the regenerated tissue in gaps in the control group than in the treatment group and in the normal cartilage. Conclusion Since tissue engineering combined with mosaicplasty can promote gap integration and cartilage healing, the method can be an ideal way for osteochondral defect repair.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2006;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the deletion and mutation of Rb gene in human lung cancer. Methods Polymerace chain reaction (PCR ) and restriction enzyme analytic techniques were used to detect the exon 14-16 and 22-23 regions of Rb gene in 20 human lung cancer DNA samples and 3 normal human lung tissue DNA samples. Results Two deletions existed in the exon 14-16 regions of two lung cancer DNA samples. Conclusion Deletion of Rb gene is in existance in human lung cancer, especially in small cell lung cancer. This may be useful for studying the cause of lung cancer.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(10):-
Objective To analyze the detection of lymph node in normal human and patients with gastric cancer by helical CT.Methods Helical CT examinations of upper abdomen were performed in 88 normal person and 106 patients with gastric cancer. The detection of lymph nodes were analyzed. Results There was obvious difference in the detecting rate of lymph node by helical CT between normal and gastric cancer cases. The total detecting rate of lymph nodes by helical CT was 39.7%,while for metastatic nodes was 69.2%.Conclusion The density increase of lymph node is important to its CT detecting rate.CT detecting rate of lymph node has significance correlation to gastric cancer.High attention much be paid to detecting lymph node of lymphatic drainage area of gastric cancer.

Objective To observe the expression and localiz at ion of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-?) of granulation tissue and chole steatoma in chronic otitis media, and explore its relationship with chronic otit is media. Methods The expression of TNF-? was observe d by immunohistochemical method in cholesteatoma, granulation tissue and normal external ear canal skin in 42 cases with chronic otitis media. Results The level of TNF-? in the group of the sample s including cholesteatoma and granulation tissue increased significantly (P

In this study, efforts were made to screen out the drug concentration of Sijunzi decoction (red ginseng) for in vitro intervention of H9c2 cardiomyocytes, select high, medium and low groups for subsequent experiments, establish the H2O2-induced myocardial cell apoptosis to investigate the protective effect of Sijunzi decoction (white/red ginseng), provide reference ginseng ingredients in Sijunzi decoction used to treat ischemic heart disease and reflect its curative effect, and observe its impacts on SOD, MAD, LDH and other indexes to preliminarily define the action mechanism. According to the results, red ginseng in Sijunzi decoction showed a better protective effect on H2O2-induced myocardial cell injury than that of white ginseng. Both of them could enhance SOD activity and reduce MDA production and LDH release, so as to significantly reduce the amount of apoptotic myocardial cells and play protective role.

This study compared the decoction's HPLC figures of the different processed rhizomes of Cibotium barometz including the raw, the sand-baked, the wined, the steamed and the salted, on the basis of which, with the sand-baked Drynaria fortunei decoction as the positive control group, comparingall groups' decoction, concentration of which was 104.2 g x L(-1), for 4 weeks, by their effects (s-TRAP and total scores of OPG, Ca, P, IL-6, TNF-alpha and IL-1) on retinoic acid induced male rats osteoporosis. The experiment results showed the sand-baked and the wined were better than the steamed, the salted and the raw;in the processing methods' selection, the sand-baked was a better heating method than the steamed and the rice wine was the better excipient than the salt. It provided a reference to explain the processing principle of rhizomes of C. barometz and work mechanism of anti-osteoporosis.
