1.Clinical study on auricular point sticking plus Western medicine for moderate gastric cancer pain
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2020;18(4):276-280
Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy and mechanism of auricular point sticking plus Western medicine for moderate gastric cancer pain. Methods: A total of 80 patients were selected and divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received Western medicine treatment, while patients in the observation group received additional auricular point sticking. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. Numeric rating scale (NRS) and Karnofsky performance status (KPS) were adopted before and after treatment. The total time and times of flare-up pain in 24 h were recorded. The cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) levels were detected. The clinical efficacy of both groups was evaluated after treatment. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05); after treatment, NRS scores of both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (both P<0.05), and the score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05); KPS scores of both groups were significantly higher than those before treatment (both P<0.05), and the score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the total time and flare-up times of pain during 24 h of both groups were significantly reduced (all P<0.05), and those of the observation group were significantly less than those of the control group (both P<0.05). After treatment, the COX-2 and TNF-α levels of both groups were significantly reduced (all P<0.05), and were lower in the observation group than in the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of auricular point sticking plus Western medicine for moderate gastric cancer pain is valid. This combined treatment can alleviate cancer pain and improve patients' quality of life, which may be related to its ability to reduce COX-2 and TNF-α levels.

Objective To observe the treatment and prophylaxis of deep venous thrombosis(DVT) following fracture of lower limb and the hemorheological changes before and after treatment. Methods 26 patients underwent fracture of lower limb for study received thromholytic therapy, decreasing blood viscosity, promoting blood circulation by eliminating stasis. Before treatment and on the tenth day after treatment, the hemorheological parameters were tested. There existed a statistical analysis for the data processing. Results Among 26 patients, therapeutic evaluation:12 patients was superior,13 patients were favorable, only one patient was infective, and the total effective rate was 96.2%.Curative effect was satisfied. Conclusions The most important was prevention first for the patient with DVT following fracture of lower limb. The critical measure was early diagnosis and early treatment.

Objective To evaluate the effects of nutritional support in patients with ERCP.Methods One hundred and fourteen in patients with ERCP From Apr.2003 to Oct.2008 were reviewed retrospectively, and the clinical value and complications of nutritional support were evaluated. Results One hundred fourteen inpatients examined with ERCP,were divided into two groups;parenteral group(re = 46)and electrolytes treatment group(re = 68).There were no significant difference in length of hospital stay and postoperative complications between the two groups.Electrolytes treatment group had lower relevant hospital cost.Sixty-three patients were fasting 12 hours(eating group),and 51 patients were fasting 24 hours(fasting group). There were no significant difference in cost, length of hospital stay, postoperative complications between the two groups. Conclusions The rate of parenteral nutrition in patients with ERCP were relatively higher, the application of parenteral nutrition was unnecessarily overdose;Early enteral nutrition is safe in successful operating patients.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(06):-
Objective: To express glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol (GPI) modified Met- RANTES fusion protein on Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells and to develop a novel immunosuppressant GPI anchored form of Met-RANTES. Methods: The eukaryotic expression vector PEF/GPI-Met-RANTES were constructed and transfected into CHO cells by electroporation. The transfectants were selected with methotrexate (MTX). Expression of the recombinant protein was assessed by flow cytometric analysis, cell immunofluorescence staining and immunogold electron microscopy. Results: The chimeric molecules of GPI anchored form of Met-RANTES including the whole reading frame were constructed, and the sequence was identical to the designed sequence. GPI anchored form of Met-RANTES was stably expressed on CHO- DHFR- cells. Conclusion: A large amount of GPI modified Met-RANTES fusion protein was expressed on CHO cells. GPI anchored form of Met-RANTES may be used as novel immunosuppressant for suppressing reaction in graft rejection.

Journal of Clinical Neurology 1993;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the relationship between carotid atheromatous plaque and its related biochemical indexes and cerebral infarction. Methods 65 cases with cerebral infarction served as cerebral infarction(CI) group and 35 cases of non-cerebral infarction as control group. In both groups, the location, number and nature of carotid atheromatous plaque and diamete of carotid artery were assessed by Doppler ultrasonography, and the related biochemical indexes such as blood lipid, blood glucose and fibrinogen were evaluated. Results Significant differences of the detectable rate of carotid atheromatous plaque and the diameter of common carotid artery were found between CI group[81.54%,( 7.43? 0.07)mm of left side,(7.52?0.60)mm of right side] and control group[28.57%,(7.75?0.10)mm of left side,( 7.97? 0.75)mm of right side]( P

Objective:To explore the effect of mental quality training on self consistency and congruence of military personnel in field army.Methods:397 military personnel in field army were randomly divided into intervention groups which received mental quality training(n=197)and control group which received normal training(n=197).Self consistency and congruence scale were used before and after the intervention. Results:After mental quality training,(1)the total scores of self consistency and congruence of training group were significantly lower than that of control group(93.2?10.3/95.5?11.8,P

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of different doses of caffeine on premature apnea. Methods 80 patients with apnea were divided into observation group and control group, each group in 40cases.The two groups applicated caffeine citrate. The control group received the basal dose, first application of 20 mg/kg, intravenous injection, intravenous injection of 5 mg/kg after 24 h.The observation group was treated with intravenous injection of 10 mg/kg after 24 h.The treatment period was 7 d.The therapeutic effect, blood gas and oxygenation index and adverse reactions were observed in the two groups. Results The effective rate of the observation group was 92.5%,which was significantly higher than 75.0% of the control group(x2=4.501,P<0.05).After treatment, the duration[(9.05±1.82)s vs (13.53±2.63)s]and lost time[(2.52±0.94)h vs (3.42±1.13)h]of apnea in the observation group were longer than those of the control group. The number of seizures[(22.15±4.16) vs (33.53±8.48)]was less than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(t=8.767,5.434,9.231,all P<0.05).After treatment, PaO2[(84.74±9.74)mmHg vs (71.46±8.53)mmHg],PaCO2[(42.62±4.15)mmHg vs (48.54±5.18)mmHg]and PaO2/FiO2[(221.52±26.51)mmHg vs (197.76±21.71)mmHg]in the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group(t=7.574,4.765,8.643,all P<0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions include tachycardia, hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia and restlessness had no significant difference between the two groups (15.0% vs 10.0%, P>0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of premature apnea, advanced caffeine citrate treatment can better improve the clinical symptoms and blood gas index, the curative effect is reliable.
