Under the principle of giving priority to patient care, efforts were made to expand the functions of HIS in the dispensary of the ward areas. Using HIS to automatically create and print drug-dispensing labels that fit in with clinical needs and thus realizing paperless dispensation in the dispensary of the ward areas could not only reduce errors but also improve work efficiency and service quality. Medication records created automatically with HIS, in the process of which clinical data were automatically entered, were easy to use and provided complete and timely information, thus setting up a sound platform ofr the delivery of pharmaceutical service. A quantitative system for personnel appraisal and control was also established. Hence the enhancement of work efficiency and control level.

ObjectiveTo study the effect of testing amino acids levels in brain microdialysate by method of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with α-aminobutyric acid (AABA) as the internal standard.MethodsReversed phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC), orthophthaladehyde (OPA) precolumn derivatization method and fluorescence detector were used. The separation was performed using an ODS-C18 column. AABA, an isomeric compound of GABA, served as the internal standard, phosphate buffer solution and methanol as the mobile phase, gradient elution lasted in 35 min.Results7 kinds of amino acids and internal standard were separated completely. The mean recovery of amino acid was 88.2%—102.3%. The mean correlation coeffeicient of the linear relationship was 0.998±0.0015.Limits of detection for amino acids were 1.0—8.6 ppm respectively.ConclusionThe method mentioned above is simple and sensitive for operation, and can be used for determined levels of amino acids in microdialysate.

OBJECTIVE:To improve the determination method for lincomycin hydrochloride eye drops so as to eliminate the interference of the bacterial inhibitor ethylparaben on the content of the main component.METHODS:The determination was performed by HPLC with phosphoric buffer (pH 6.8)-methanol (40∶ 60) as the mobile phase replacing the mobile phase of borax buffer (pH6.0)-methanol (4∶6) recommend in state chemicals standard technique (Method A).The contents of ethylparaben-contained sample and ethylparaben-free sample determined by HPLC were compared with those determined by Method A.RESULTS:There was no significant difference in the content of ethylparaben-free sample between the two determination methods, but the content of ethylparaben-contained sample determined by Method A was higher than both the labeled amount and that determined by the improved method.CONCLUSION:The improved method is applicable for the content determination of lincomycin hydrochloride eye drops.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the analeptic action of Xingnaojing injection(XNJI) in patients undergoing total intravenous anesthesia and the possible mechanism.METHODS: 60 patients undergoing selective abdominal operation with tracheal intubation(scored grade Ⅰ or grade Ⅱ using ASA score) were transferred to post-anesthctic ICU(PACU) after surgery and randomly divided into two groups of 30 each: X group(XNJI 0.5 mL?kg-1) and C group(control group). The X group received XNJI(0.5 mL?kg-1) by drip infusion within 10 minutes, while C group received same amount of normal saline. The vocal reaction recovery time, autonomous breath recovery time, extubation time and duration of PACU stay were recorded. The mean arterial pressure(MAP),heart rate(HR),the concentrations of Epinephrine(E),and Norepinephrine(NE) and ?-endorphin(?-EP) in arterial blood were detected at 0,5,15,30 and 45 minutes before and after medication.RESULTS: No significant differences were noted for X group in hemodynamics parameters after medication as compared with before medication, but significant differences were noted for C group at 30 min and 45 min when compared with before medication or compared with X group at the same different time points. The vocal reaction recovery time, autonomous breath recovery time, extubation time and the duration of PACU stay were all significantly shorter in X group than in C group(P

OBJECTIVETo study the effect of total saponins from Rhizoma Dioscoreae nipponicae (RDN) on the expression of stroma cell derived factor 1 (SDF1) and IKB kinase (IKK) in rIL-1beta induced fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLS).
METHODSFLS were primarily cultured and the 3rd generation log phase growth FLS were divided into the normal control group, the model group, and the medication group. 10 microg/L rIL-1beta was used to induce the proliferation of FLS in the model group.10 microg/L rIL-1beta and 100 microg/L RDN were administered to co-incubate FLS in the medication group. No treatment was given to FLS in the normal control group. Expression levels of SDF1 and IkapaB kinase proteins (p-IKK) were detected using Western blot.
RESULTSExpression levels of SDF1 and p-IKK increased significantly higher in the model group than in the normal control group (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, expression levels of SDF-1 and p-IKK significantly decreased in the medication group (P <0.01).
CONCLUSIONSTotal saponins from RDN could inhibit the activation of both SDF1 and p-IKK. It might further regulate the expression of IKB kinase by regulating the expression of SDF1.

Objective Color doppler ultrasonography of chronic Keshan disease (CKD) was evaluated to provide evidences for clinic diagnosis of the disease. Methods From September to Novermber 2009, according to "Diagnostic criteria of Keshan disease" (GB 17021-1997), 64 cases of CKD were randomly sampled from five Keshan diseased districts in Shandong province, Zoucheng, Sishui, Yishui, Wulian, Jvxian, and Pingyi as patient group. Thirty four healthy volunteers being checked up by Shandong Institute for Endemic Diseases Control and Research were put in control group. All the subjects were examined with Color doppler ultrasonography. The indexes of cardiac structure, left ventricular (LV) systolic function and LV diastolic function were measured. Results Left atrial internal diameter, LV end-diastolic internal diameter, LV end-systolic internal diameter, right ventricular diameter, aorta diameter, right atrial transverse diameter, right atrial long diameter and left ventricle mass of the patient group[(35.38 ± 6.89), (61.57 ± 8.61), (45.39 ± 10.29), (17.22 ± 3.79), (28.69 ± 2.81),(38.00 ± 6.05), (42.68 ± 8.65)mm, (283.22 ± 103.12)g] were higher than that of control group[(26.70 ± 3.27),(45.41 ± 4.93), (26.91 ± 4.35), (13.76 ± 2.27), (24.09 ± 2.89), (31.50 ± 3.32), (35.82 ± 3.14) mm, (156.03 ±39.86)g, t = 6.93, 10.09, 9.98, 4.87, 7.64, 5.81, 4.46, 6.90, all P< 0.05]. The LV ejection fraction and fractional shortening of the left ventricular of the patient group[(49.25 ± 14.33)%, (26.11 ± 9.17)%] were lower than that of control group[(73.88 ± 4.04)%, (42.88 ± 3.62)%, t = - 9.79, - 10.22, all P< 0.05]. Diffuse hypokinetic motion of the left ventricle reduced in 95% (61/64) of CKD patients, and 5% (3/64) of CKD patients had segmental LV dyskinesia. Seventy five per sent(48/64) of the patients accompanied with mitral regurgitation, and 39% (26/64) of these cases accompanied with tricuspid regurgitation. Meaningful Mitral or tricuspid regurgitation was not found out in control group. Conclusions The CKD patients' bore of atrio-ventricular cavity and LV mass are enlarged, and their motion of ventricle is reduced or partly reduced. They have poor heart function. Mitral regurgitation are more than tricuspid regurgitation. Color doppler Ultrasonography is important in diagnosis of chronic Keshan discase.
