Objective To observe the effect of Yishen Paizhuo Decoction(Decoction for reinforcing the kidney and discharging the turbid)on chronic renal failure(CRF)patients. Methods The 82 CRF patients were randomized into observation group(42 cases) and control group(40 cases). In addition to the routine treatment, the observation group was administered modified Yishen Paizbuo Decoction, and the control group was given coated aldehyde oxystarch. The course of treatment was 6 months for both groups. Changes of clinical symptoms, renal functions, blood fat,and hemoglobin were observed, and the linear regression evaluation and renal survival evaluation were employed to evaluate the development of CRF.Results The improvement of observation group in renal func- tions and blood fat was remarkable with the increased renal survival rate, compared with the control group, the difference was signifi- cant(P

To build a reversed phase ion-pair chromatography to determination content of Dencichine from Panax notoginseng. Using Tetrabutyl ammonium hydroxide ions by the combination of reagent and HPLC method without derivatization to test the content of dencichine directly. The optimum conditions of supersonic extraction were solid-to-liquid ratio 1: 20, Continuous ultrasonic extraction: twice, each time 15 minutes; 3,500 r · min⁻¹, then centrifuging 15 minutes. Dencichine in different age, place, part and the different Processing mode were examined. The method is simple with sound separation degree and stability, which can facilitate the determination of dencichine content directly and provide the basis in quality standard of raw material.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2003;0(10):-
Infection and inflammatory response can induce the brain damage in neonate, but the mechanism involved in it has not been elucidated completely.Proposed mechanisms include inflammatory response, cytokine and free radical-mediated injury, and excitatory amino acids-induced injury. The activation of microglia and selective vulnerability of immature oligodendrocyte play an important role in the whole process.Recent researches show that the fetal inflammatory response and complex gene regulation are also involved in the infection-induced brain damage.

Mongolian Pharmacy and Pharmacology 2017;10(1):22-26
Objective: To explore the effects of Polygonatum odoratum on body based on metabonomics.
Methods: The ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS) and principle component analysis(PCA) and orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA) were used to evaluate the changes of endogenous substances in rats after intragastric administration of Polygonatum odoratum.
Results: Significant differences between the control group and administration group were observed in PCA and OPLS-DA model. Five potential biomarkers between control group and administration group were identified. The relative content of Alpha-Tocotrienol, PC(14:1(9Z)/14:1(9Z)), Stearic acid, Theasapogenol A, Docosahexaenoic acid increased.
Conclusion: The biomarkers had many beneficial activities, so the Mongolian medicine Polygonatum odoratum had the function of health care.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(21):-
Objective To observe the immunologic function of critically ill newborn and the relative function of nuclear factor kappa B(NF-?B).Methods The critically ill group contained 50 cases, and 25 cases from healthy newborns were used as control group.Blood samples were collected in each case, levels of cytokine interleukin(IL)-4,interferon(IFN)-?,tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-? and NF-?B were detected.Result Compared with control group,NF-?B of the critically ill newborn activated and the cytokine were disorder, and IL-4 and TNF-? increased, but IFN-? decreased. Conclusions Critically ill newborn exist immune functional disorder.Furthermore,NF-?B activation may be involved in the process in infants with critically illness.

AIM: To study the preconditioning effect of nitrate medicine on different parts of the heart and its signaling pathway. METHODS: The cells from different parts of the heart (atrium, left ventricle, right ventricle, apex and the whole heart) were isolated and cultured. The cultured cells were treated with hypoxia and reperfusion, hypoxia preconditioning, 1 mmol/L L-arginine preconditioning and 5 mmol/L L-arginine preconditioning, respectively. The cell necrosis rate, cell apoptosis rate, LDH concentration in the medium, the [Ca 2+]i and PKC activity in the cells were determined. RESULTS: The result show that hypoxia and reperfusion increased the necrosis rate and apoptosis rate, enhanced the concentration of LDH in the medium and the [Ca 2+]i overload in the cells (P0.05). After hypoxia preconditioning and L-arginine preconditioning, these indexes decreased (P

OBJECTIVETo observe the protective effect on renal function of Chinese drugs combined with benazepril in patients with diabetic nephropathy (DN).
METHODSAdopting stratified randomized and controlled design, 108 patients with DN were assigned to two groups. Besides the same measures of diet regulation, exercise, education, hypoglycemic and symptomatic treatment applied, benazepril was administered to all patients, and Chinese drugs were given to patients in the treated group additionally. The treatment course was 3 months. The changes before and after treatment of symptoms and signs, 24-h urinary protein (24 hUpro), serum creatinine (SCr), serum creatinine clearance rate (CCr), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), plasma glucose (PG) and blood pressure (BP) were observed, and the time of dialysis therapy initiating was recorded.
RESULTSSCr and 24 hUpro decreased and CCr increased in the treated group significantly (P < 0.01), and the improvement were superior to that in the control group (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), the renal living time in the treated group was longer than that in the control group, but no significant different in BUN, PG and BP was found between the two groups (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe treatment program of Chinese drugs combined with benazepril could obviously reduce the levels of SCr and 24 hUpro, increase CCr in patients with DN, and its effect in improving renal function is better than that of using benazepril alone.

The diethyl sulfate (DES) mutagenesis was chosen for the mutagenic treatment to Phellinus igniarius, and the relationship of mutagenesis time and death rate was investigated with 0.5% DES. The differences of mycelial growth speed, liquid fermentation mycelia biomass, morphology and pigment classes of secondary metabolites production speed and antioxidant activities of metabolite products were discussed. The study displayed that DES mutagenesis could change mycelial morphology without obvious effect on mycelium growth, and the DES mutagenesis improved antioxidant activities of the active ingredients of P. igniarius and had more antioxidant activity of hypoxia/sugar PC12 nerve cells than that of P. igniarius.
