Objective To investigate the changing spectrum and antibiotic resistance of the pathogenic bacteria isolated from general surgical infections. Methods The relevant bacterial materials from 557 patients with general surgical infection from June 1993 to July 1997 were investigated. Results 1 045 strains in 38 species of gram-negative bacteria and 418 strains (8 species) of gram-positive bacteria were isolated with a negative over positive rate of 71.4% to 28.6%. For gram-negatives, E coli was the most common, and enterobactor cloacae ranking the third was on a dramatic increase from isolations. Staphylococcus aureus and staphylococcus epidemidis were the most common gram-positive species followed by enterococcus faecalis. Enterobactor cloacae and enterococcus faecalis are multi-antibiotic resistant bacteria. The result of drug susceptibility test showed that gram-negative bacteria were sensitive to fluoroqinolones or third-generation cephalosporins while gram-positive bacteria were sensitive to vancomycin and rifampicin. Conclusion This study showed that the rational application of antibiotics is very important to suppress the spectrum changing and antibiotic resistance of the bacteria.

Objective The object of this study was to characterize the theraputic method of Shangtian and Bobath in treating cerebral palsy. Methods Sixty four patients with cerebral palsy, age from ,were subjected to this study. They were divided into two groups.treated with Shangtian method and Bobath method.Quantity evaluation on motion function was performed before and after the treatment. Results The overall score on motion function development was not significantly different between two groups(P >0.05).However,These were significantly different in seating function development and induces protective extensor thrust parachute reaction, between the two groups.Positive suppoting reaction improvement of 73% in shangtian treated group,62% in Bobath's treated group. Conclusion Both of the two therapeutic methods are effective in treating cerebral palsy.However.Shangtian is more effectual in improving seating function, postive suppoting reaction and induced protective extensor thrust parachute reaction.

Objective To study the effect of environmental estrogen, bisphenol A (BPA), on proliferation of human uterine leiomyoma cells in culture. Methods The primary culture and subculture of the human uterine leiomyoma cells which were identified at each passage by means immunocytochemical staining with a monoclonal anti-?-smooth muscle actin antibody, were performed. The cells (passage 3-5) were incubated with BPA (including three dosimetric systems, 1?10-7 mol/L, 50 ?10-7 mol/L and 100?10-7 mol/L) for 24, 48 and 72 h, and the control cells received only the vehicle (ethanol, 0.1 %, V/V). The proliferation of cultured human uterine leiomyoma cells was analyzed by MTT assay and flow cytometry. Results The limited human uterine leiomyoma cell lines were successfully established. After 24 h, 48 h and 72 h of treatment in 100?10-7 mol/L and 48 h, 72 h, at 50?10-7 mol/L , BPA could enhance the cells proliferation. After 72 h of treatment in 50?10-7 mol/L and 100?10-7 mol/L, BPA promoted cells into S cell cycle phase and elevated mitotic index (P

Many snake venoms contain complex mixtures of pharmacologically important molecules, some of which show potential therapeutic value in the treatment of cancer and other human disorders. In this review, we mainly reports the effects of snake venom active components, such as disintegrins and lectins in paralyzing cancer cells, blocking on cell migration, interaction with integrins, inhibition of tumor dissemination and angiogenesis. The advanced researches on the snake venom's apoptosis-inducing components on tumors are also introduced. [

Objective To assess the diagnostic value of Logistic model in differentiating between malignant and benign ovarian lesions. Methods Thirty-five indexes of clinical and ultrasound data were recorded in 601 ovarian lesions confirmed by surgical pathology. The Logistic model was developed on a training set( n - 400) and tested on a test set( n = 201). Results Variable selection resulted in a set of 10 variables for the models: personal history of ovarian cancer, maximal diameter of the lesion, maximal diameter of the solid component, multilocular-solid tumor, solid tumor, ascites, flow within papillation, irregular walls, very strong intratumoral blood flow (i. e. color score 4) and acoustic shadows. Test set area under the receiver-operating characteristics curve was 0.963 with a sensitivity 93.9% and a specificity 93. 1 %. Conclusions Logistic model can accurately separate malignant from benign ovarian masses.

Objective To apply the health education intervention based on protection motivation theory in community female patients with stress urinary incontinence,in order to establish a health behavior and to control urinary incontinence. Methods 96 female patients with stress urinary incontinence were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group by random number table method, the control group received routine health education, the experimental group received health education based on protection motivation theory. The ICI-Q-SF score, pelvic muscle exercise compliance scale score, urinary incontinence coping efficacy score were compared between the control group and the experimental group. Results The ICI-Q-SF score of the experimental group after the intervention was 5.43 ± 1.77,which was significant lower than that in the control group,7.96±2.98,t=4.88,P<0.01.The urinary incontinence coping efficacy scores of experiment groups after the intervention was 17.63±1.85,which was higher than that in the control group,13.49±2.46,t=-9.09,P<0.01.There were 29 cases accounted for 63.04% with good compliance and 17 cases accounted for 36.96% with poor compliance in experimental group after intervention,14 cases accounted for 31.11% with good compliance and 31 cases accounted for 68.89% with poor compliance in control group after intervention, the difference was statistically significant,x2=9.306,P<0.05.Conclusions Health education based on protection motivation theory can promote the coping efficacy and health behavior of community female patients with stress urinary incontinence and can effectively control urinary incontinence symptom.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2021;33(3):246-249
Objective:
To observe the migration of 4,4'-diaminostilbene-2,2'-disulfonc acid-based fluorescent whitening agents ( DSD-FWAs ) in food packaging paper, so as to provide evidence for quality and safety supervision for paper packaging materials.
Methods:
Forty-one paper samples with DSD-FWAs positive were made into 6 cm2 pieces and were soaked in four food simulants ( distilled water, 3% acetic acid, 10% ethanol and 95% ethanol, 10 mL each ). The experiment was carried out at the specified soaking temperature and time. The migration amounts of eleven DSD-FWAs were detected by high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection.
Results:
C.I.220, C.I.24, C.I.210, C.I.85, C.I.113, C.I.264, C.I.353 and C.I.357 were found in all the four food simulants. At the same time and temperature, the migration amount was highest in 10% ethanol, followed by distilled water, 3% acetic acid and 95% ethanol. C.I.220 was dissolved in all four food simulants, in the range of 20-90 ℃, the migration amount increased with soaking temperature; at 20 ℃, 40 ℃ and 60 ℃, the migration amount increased first and then stabilized over time.
Conclusion
The higher the storage temperature and the longer the storage time of paper packaging, the easier the DSD-FWAs in packaging paper migrate to food.
