With widely application of bronchoavleolar lavage , a lot of cases on L.Blattarum infections in respiratory system have emerged in recent years .However , after closely lucubrating pictures of these reported cases and analyzing the results of our animal experiments.It was doubted the reported morphology of L.Blattarum belongs to respiratory ciliated columnar epithelium .This article aimed at guiding our colleagues to distinguish the morphology of Lophomonas blattarum in respiratory system, and,avoid the misdiagnosis.

Objective To compare the quality of life before ischemia postconditioning and 6 months after ischemia postconditioning in patients with acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction,and investigate the related risk factors.Methods One hundred and twenty-nine patients with acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction were given the ischemie postconditioning.The quality of life was evaluated before ischemia postconditioning and 6 months after ischemia postconditioning by 36-item short-form health survey (SF-36) and seattle angina questionnaire (SAQ).Results In acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction patients treated with ischemia postconditioning,the scores of SF-36 and SAQ were significantly lower at 6 months after ischemia postconditioning than those before ischemia postconditioning [SF-36:total score of body health (76.4 ± 17.3) scores vs.(56.3 ± 16.8) scores,physiologic function (75.3 ± 18.1) scores vs.(52.4 ± 19.2) scores,physiologic functional authority (75.6 ± 16.5) scores vs.(48.5 ± 20.3) scores,body pain (77.2 ± 15.4) scores vs.(58.7 ± 16.6) scores,total health state (73.6 ± 17.8) scores vs.(50.6 ± 14.7)scores,total score of mental status (77.5 ± 15.3) scores vs.(55.3 ± 17.3) scores,vitality (69.3 ± 18.1)scores vs.(43.2 ± 17.4) scores,society function (70.3 ± 17.5) scores vs.(41.3 ± 14.2)scores,affection functional authority (80.2 ± 17.4)scores vs.(63.5 ± 14.3)scores,mental health (77.6 ± 18.4) scores vs.(55.6 ± 20.1) scores,health change (76.3 ± 17.4) scores vs.(53.4 ± 16.6) scores;SAQ:body limitation of activity (78.46 ± 12.21) scores vs.(35.34 ± 15.33)scores,angina stable state (74.23 ± 8.53) scores vs.(30.12 ± 5.38) scores,angina episode state (72.34 ± 10.33) scores vs.(27.33 ± 9.12) scores,satisfaction degree of treatment (76.42 ± 12.13)scores vs.(30.56 ± 15.57) scores,knowledge of diseases (74.22 ± 9.35)scores vs.(37.25 ± 20.32) scores] (P ＜ 0.05).The results of multiple linear regression equation showed that the older,more severe vascular lesions,and lower total score of body health score before ischemia postconditioning indicated lower total score of body health,and worse quality of life after ischemia postconditioning.Conclusions The quality of life of patients with acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction after ischemia postconditioning is significantly improved,compared with that before ischemia postconditioning.Advanced age,vascular disease and lower total scores of body health before ischemia postconditioning are independent risk factors of total scores of body health after ischemia postconditioning.

Objective To analyze the detection rate of HBV serological makers in non-hepatic inpatients in the past six years. Methods Serum samples of 70 582 non-hepatic inpatients from three large hospitals were collected during 2003 to 2008. Serological markers of HBV ( HBsAg, anti-HBs, HBeAg, antiHBe and anti-HBc) were detected by the AxSYM MEIA system (Abbott Laboratories,Abbott Park,IL).Combining the test results of serological makers with other clinical data, several analysis models for this retrospective study were set up to evaluate the year-to-year changes in serological makers and the detection rates of each model. Results The order from high to low of detection rate of the 5 HBV serological markers was anti-HBc (55. 17% ), anti-HBs (49. 57% ), anti-HBe (28.42%), HBsAg ( 8. 92% ) and HBeAg (2. 12% ), and all of them had a downward trend in the past six years. The positive rate of HBsAg went down from 9. 30% (2003) to 8.70% (2008). The positive rate of HBsAg among people who were born after 1992 (2. 28% ) were significantly lower than that of the overall population (8. 92% ) and fell from 3.57%(2003) to 1.85% (2008). Each detection rate of all serological makers had male sexual side effect [HBsAg ( 12. 38%/7. 25% ), HBeAg ( 2. 72%/1.58% ), anti-HBc ( 56. 57%/53.43% ), anti-HBe (41.50%/28. 35% ) and anti-HBs (65.48%/50. 00% ), male/female]. The differences were statistically significant (Chi-square values of HBsAg, HBeAg, anti-HBc, anti-HBe and anti-HBs were 509.74,105.78, 69.66, 1 321.61 and 1 726.91, respectively; all P ＜ 0. 01).Twenty-six models of HBV serological makers from 70 582 inpatients were summed up, and 8 models had positive rates geater than or equal to 1%. The "All Negative" model ranked No. 1 and had no significant change from year to year. During the past six years, models representing "A11 Negative" and "anti-HBs Positive alone" were mainly in individuals younger than or equal to 20-year-old, while the models representing "anti-HBc and/or anti-HBe,anti-HBs Positive" were mostly in people older than 20-year-old. The distribution curve of models representing "HBsAg, HbeAg and anti-HBc Positive" and "HBsAg, anti-HBc, anti-HBe Positive"etc. showed a bell-shape, covering the population from 20-year-old to 70-year-old. Conclusions The slowlydescending tendency of the detection rates of HBV serological makers was observed during the past six years.The detection rates of HBV in the younger generation decreased significantly. However, the HBV infection rates of overall population is still high, so it is a high time that we made continuous improvement for the serum HBV screening technique in order to reduce the HBV infection ratess.

Objective To investigate the value of combined use of laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC)and duodenoscopic procedures in the treatment of gallbladder stones with common bile duct stones.Methods We retrospectively analyzed clinical data of 164 cases of gallbladder stones with common bile duct stones treated with laparoscopic cholecystectomy + endoscopic sphincterotomy(EST)from January 2003 to December 2007.Results All the cases underwent ERCP and endoscopic sphincterotomy(EST)followed by LC.In the 164 cases,196 bile duct stones were extracted from 155cases with a success rate of 94.5%.The procedures were unsuccessful in 9 cases,and among them,4 cases had stricture of bile duct more than 2 cm in length,and 5 cases had impacted stones that precluded passage of the guide wire.After EST,6 of the 155 cases had the complication of mild acute pancreatitis and LC was performed after its treatment.The success rate of LC was 96.5% and the average hospital stay was(11?4)d.Conclusions The combined use of EST and ERCP before LC is effective in treatment of gallbladder stones with common bile duct stones,and has broadened the utilization of minimally invasive treatment for bile duct diseases.

Objective To investigate the clinical status of post-core crown in anterior teeth aesthetical restoration and to observe its effect. Methods 126 cases of anterior teeth in patients with mild deformity,restored with post-core crown after informed consent meanwhile conducted clinical follow-up observation. Results In addition to 2 cases of disease after root canal treatment, 1 incisal and labial surface of porcelain fracture, other cases achieved desired results in the way of self-satisfaction,clinical efficacy and x-ray observation and periapical films. Conclusion Post-core crown in anterior aesthetical restoration has a unique position and clinical efficacy.

Objective By comparing the plasma levels of adiponectin respectively in colorectal carcinoma patients to healthy controls to discuss the relationship between adiponectin and colorectal carcinoma. Methods Plasma samples collected from 38 colorectal cancer cases, 38 healthy controls, respectively, were analyzed with a specific ELISA assay. Results The mean adiponectin levels in colorectal cancer pa-tients and healthy controls were 159.89 and 184.5 pg/mL,respectively. Obviously colorectal cancer patients had significantly lower plasma adiponectin concentrations compared with healthy controls(P=0.001). And a inverse correlation was found between plasma adiponectin levels and tumor size with significantly lower levels of adiponectin in tumors≥5 cm (P=0.04), while no similar relationship was found between adiponectin and p53, Dukes stages(P>0.05). Conclusions Lower plasma levels of adiponectin are associated with color-ectal carcinogenesis closely. And the lower plasma levels of diponectin were positively related to the degree of tumor size. It can presume that adiponectin play a vital role in the process of colorectal carcinogenesis.

ATP-binding cassette protein E (ABCE1) has been annotated as an Rnase L inhibitor in eukaryotes. Previous study showed that the overexpression of ABCE1 was related with the occurrence and clinical stage of lung adenocarcinoma. As an initial investigation into the novel functions of ABCE1, siRNA-expressing vectors targeting sites of the ABCE1 gene were constructed from RNAi-Ready pSIREN-DNR-DsRed-Express vector. Cultured 95-D and NCI-H446 lung carcinoma cells were transfected with the siRNA-expressing vectors using FuGENE 6 and transfection efficiency was determined by using fluorescence microscopy. The expression level of ABCE1 protein was determined by Western blot and immunofluorescence staining. Cell viability was determined by MTT, cell cycle was analysed by flow cytometry.The apoptotic rate was observed by ELISA. Fluorescence microscopy showed a satisfactory transfection efficiency which was about 42.70%. Cell viability and the growth fraction were markedly suppressed, whereas the apoptosis was significantly increased in SiRNA-95-D and SiRNA-NCI-H446 cells than controls(P< 0.05). It can be concluded that the siRNA targeting ABCE1 gene shows a dramatic inhibitory effect on RNA transcription and protein expression and a promoting effect on the apoptosis in 95-D/NCI-H446 cells, which offers a reliable base for the further in vivo experiment.

Objective:To optimize the formula of film-forming materials for compound rhizoma corydalis plastics. Methods:Poly-vinyl alcohol 124 (PVA124) and bletilla striata gum were selected as the film-forming materials. The amounts of PVA 124, bletilla striata gum, glycerol and absolute ethanol were used as the influencing factors in an orthogonal test with the composite score of film-forming time and appearance as the indices to screen out the best composition of film-forming materials. Results:The best composition of film-forming materials was as follows:8 g PVA 124, 1 g bletilla striata gum, 2 ml glycerol and 15 ml ethanol. Conclusion:The op-timized film-forming materials can be used for the preparation of compound rhizoma corydalis plastics.

Objective To approach a semi-quantitative diagnostic criteria of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) by comprehensive scoring, including history, clinical manifestation and laboratory data,which can be used for early diagnosis,severity grading and the institution of therapy.Methods We analyzed history, clinical manifestation and some parameters of laboratory data,and established criteria for scoring and grading,and compared this grading with the grading determined by clinical data and follow-up,which brought forward a semi-quantitative diagnostic criteria, and applied this criteria to other 41 patients with HIE to test its reliability.Results The grading criteria were established as the following:if total score ≥20.0,the patient was graded as severe one;total score between 10.5-19.5, moderate one; between 5.5-10.0,mild one;≤5.0,non-HIE one. The scoring system was used in other 41 patients with HIE,the specificity and sensitivity were 100% and 96 .9%,97.2% and 100%,100% and 100%, respectively.Conclusions For severe HIE cases who are not permitted to receive compated tomography(CT) examination or no CT can be used, this scoring system can be used to diagnoze HIE and grade the severity. This method is simple and easy to perform.Both specificity and sensitivity are high for diagnosis and severity judgment of HIE.
