This study was aimed to assist the clinic diagnosis and analysis with the application of modern ausculta-tion diagnosis technology. Meanwhile, this study provided certain objective evidences for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) auscultation diagnosis in syndrome differentiation according to Zang-Fu. The Voice Sampling System of TCM was used in the collection of voice signals of patients with liver-depression and spleen-deficiency, deficiency of both heart and spleen, disharmony between heart and kidney (231 cases). Meanwhile, voice signals of healthy peo-ple (100 cases) were used as the control group. Based on wavelet packet decomposition and reconstruction technique, four kinds of featured parameters, including energy proportion, generalized energy proportion, energy gradient and generalized energy gradient, were extracted. The results showed that there were significant differences in multiple fre-quencies on energy proportion, generalized energy proportion, energy gradient and generalized energy gradient be-tween the liver-depression and spleen-deficiency, deficiency of both heart and spleen, disharmony between heart and kidney, and healthy people (P< 0.05). There were significant differences in multiple frequencies of four features a-mong samples from each type (P < 0.05). The generalized energy proportion of the deficiency of both heart and spleen type was higher than patients from other types and healthy people. The generalized energy gradient of healthy people was lower than the other three types. Differences were mainly posterior to the middle frequency segment. The recognition rate of three types and healthy people was ideal after feature screening. It was concluded that modern auscultation diagnosis technology can be used in the analysis of TCM phonetic feature parameters among common TCM syndrome types. The research results provided references for the objective study of TCM auscultation diagnosis. It provided theoretical evidences for the objective detection of TCM auscultation diagnosis and intelligent computer.

In this study, we use pot experiment to evaluate the effect of plant growth regulator on plant morphology and biomass allocation of Salvia miltiorrhiza. Different concentrations of uniconazole were supplied to S. miltioohiza by means of foliar spray. Height, breadth and stem diameter were measured dynamically, the biomass of leaf, stem, flower and fruit, root biomass and biomass ratio were also examined at the harvest time. Owing to the treatment, plant morphology showed significant changes, the height had been greatly reduced and the breadth decreased largely. Meanwhile, the biomass allocation changed too. The biomass ratio of leaf and stem had been notably reduced while the biomass ratio of root had been increased remarkably. It appears that foliar application of uniconazole during vigorous growth period in S. miltioohiza has dramatic effect on dwarfing plant and improving resistant to lodging. This measure could also be applied to condensed cultivation of S. miltioohiza to increase production.

Emodin is an effective active ingredient extracted from Chinese herbal medicine, which has the function of antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and scavenging oxygen free radicals, inhibiting platelet aggregation, improving microcirculation, protecting various organs and tissues as well as a wide range of anti-tumor effect. Primary biliary gallbladder is a common malignant tumor resection rate and lack of effective adjuvant treatment. It has been confirmed that emodin has broad spectrum antitumor effect, whereas, whether it has curative effect in the treatment of gallbladder carcinoma there is no reliable clinical trials confirmed that its resistance to gallbladder carcinoma function needs further experimental research. In this review, we report the research progress of emodin anti-gallbladder carcinoma.

Objective To investigate the effect of citalopram hydrobromide tablets on cognitive function and inflammatory factors in patients with recurrent bipolar disorder (BPD),and to analyze its possible mechanism of action.Methods 104 patients with recurrent BPD in our hospital from July 2014 to December 2015 were selected,and they were divided into observation group and control group by random number table,52 cases in each group.Control group was given sodium valproate,while observation group was given citalopram hydrobromide tablets and sodium valproate.After 8-week treatment,the emotional state,cognitive function,inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Results Before treatment,HAMD score,BPMS score of two groups were not statistically significant.After 8 weeks of treatment,HAMD score and BPMS score of two groups were significantly lower than those in the same group before treatment (P ＜ 0.01);and the observation group HAMD score and BPMS score were significantly lower than the control group (P ＜ 0.01).Before treatment,TMT-A,TMT-B time of two groups were not statistically significant.After 8 weeks of treatment,TMT-A and TMT-B time of two groups were significantly shorter than the same group before treatment (P ＜ 0.05).TMT-A TMT-B in the observation group were significantly shorter than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The content of serum MIF,IL-1 beta and IL-6 in two groups before treatment were not statistically significant.After 8 weeks of treatment,the contents ofMIF,IL-1 beta,IL-6 in two groups were significantly lower than the same group before treatment (P ＜ 0.05).And the levels of serum MIF,IL-1 beta,IL-6 in observation group were significantly lower than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Citalopram hydrobromide tablets can relieve clinical symptoms,improve cognitive function,and it possibly has relations with inhibiting the expression of inflammatory factors.

Objective The solution for the cross-platform of visualizing human meridian acupoints by three-dimensional (3D) virtual technology was explored based on existing researches to improve interactive method.Methods 3D virtual technology was utilized to construct a 3D visualization model of human meridians and acupoints.The cross-platform 3D visualization system was realized by integrating the existing relevant standards and clinical knowledge.Results The system can visually and dynamically show the meridians and acupoints of human body.Moreover, it can reveal the details including part meridian circulation, the spatial structure of acupoints, etc which fail to be reflected by the real acupuncture model and two-dimensional (2D) planar chart.Meanwhile, the system can be employed to realize the visualization interaction between meridians model and human beings, and the multi-screen cross-platform user scenarios in the whole network.Conclusion It is expected to be widely applied in fields, such as teaching of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), scientific research, science popularization, etc.

Objective To evaluate the effect of 15-deoxy-△12,14-prostaglandin J2 (15d-PGJ2) on endotoxin-induced acute lung injury (ALI) in rats.Methods Forty healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats, aged 3-5 months, weighing 220-250 g, were randomly divided into 4 groups (n =10 each) using a random number table: control group (group C), 15d-PGJ2 group, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) group, and LPS +15d-PGJ2 group.In group 15d-PGJ2, 15d-PGJ20.3 mg/kg was injected via the tail vein, while the equal volume of normal saline was given in group C.In LPS and LPS+15d-PGJ2 groups, ALI was produced with LPS 6 mg/kg injected through the tail vein, and then the equal volume of normal saline and 15d-PGJ2 0.3 mg/kg were injected, respectively.At 4 h after LPS injection, blood samples were drawn from the abdominal aorta for blood gas analysis, and arterial oxygen partial pressure (PaO2) was recorded.The rats were then sacrificed, lungs were removed for microscopic examination, and for determination of wet/dry lung weight ratio (W/D ratio), TNF-α, IL-8 and cytokine-induced neutrophil chemoattractant-1 (CINC-1) contents (by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) , and nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) p65 and IκB-α expression (by Western blot).Results Compared with group C, no significant change was found in PaO2, W/D ratio, contents of TNF-α, IL-8 and CINC-1, and expression of NF-κB p65 and IκB-α in group 15d-PGJ2 (P＞0.05), and PaO2 was significantly decreased, W/D ratio and contents of TNF-α,IL-8 and CINC-1 were increased, the expression of NF-κB p65 was up-regulated, and the expression of IκB-α was down-regulated in LPS and LPS+ 15d-PGJ2 groups (P＜0.05).Compared with group LPS,PaO2 was significantly increased, W/D ratio and contents of TNF-α, IL-8 and CINC-1 were decreased, the expression of NF-κB p65 was down-regulated, and the expression of IκB-α was up-regulated (P＜0.05),and the pathological changes were attenuated in group LPS+ 15d-PGJ2.Conclusion 15d-PGJ2 can mitigate endotoxin-induced ALI in rats.

OBJECTIVETo study the effects of JTS, Traditional Chinese Medicine caps. treating cerebral ischemia on metabolism and antioxidant system in cerebral ischemia rat.

METHODSI.m. dexamethasone and ligating common carotid artery, the model of cerebral ischemia rats was established to investigate the effects of JTS caps. and its mechanisms through detecting substance metabolism, energy metabolism and antioxidant system.

RESULTSJTS caps. (1.78 - 3.56 g/kg) could upgrade glucose (Glu), total amino acids (T-AA), ATP, Na(+)-K(+) -ATPase, superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) of brain tissue and degrade lactic acid (LD), malondialdehyde (MDA) and water content of brain tissue in cerebral ischemia rat (P < 0.05, 0.01). JTS caps. (3.56 g/kg) could also depress extenuation of rat's body weight.

CONCLUSIONJTS caps. has some protections against the cerebral ischemia in rats, and one of the mechanisms may be improving the metabolism and antioxidant system.

OBJECTIVETo explore the functional brain localization with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) after acupuncturing the Yuan-Source and He-Sea acupoints of Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming (ST).

METHODSThe study was performed in 30 healthy volunteers who underwent acupuncture at Yuan-Source acupoint (Chongyang, ST42) and He-Sea acupoint (Zusanli, ST36) (ST group). Ten of these were also underwent acupuncture at the non-acupoints as the control group. Blood oxygenation level dependent functional MRI was performed.

RESULTSIn the ST group, signal increasing areas were demonstrated in bilateral superior temporal gyri (Broadmann 22), bilateral supramarginal gyri (Broadmann 40), bilateral cerebellar hemispheres, bilateral cingulate gyri and isthmus of cingulate gyri (Broadmann 32, 30), bilateral superior parietal lobules (Broadmann 7); signal decreasing areas were shown in bilateral orbital gyri (Broadmann 11), bilateral temporal pole (Broadmann 38), right inferior frontal gyrus (Broadmann 47) and right medial occipitotemporal gyrus (Broadmann 36). In the control group, signal increases areas were demonstrated in superior temporal gyri, precentral gyri, cingulate gyri, thalamus, insula and cerebellum. The size, signal intensity and number of increasing areas in control group are less than in ST group.

CONCLUSIONCombined acupuncture of Yuan-Source and He-Sea acupoints of ST can activate and decrease the multiple brain regions of "splanchnic brain" and thus reach a new functional balance to relieve pain.

AIM: To investigate the visual recovery and complications in patients with traumatic cataract treated by intraocular lens Ⅰ phase implantation and Ⅱ phase implantation.?METHODS: Totally 86 patients with traumatic cataract (86 eyes) treated in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2016 were enrolled in the retrospective study, and they were divided into the control group ( treated by intraocular lens Ⅰ phase implantation, 46 eyes) and the observation group ( treated by intraocular lens Ⅱ phase implantation, 40 eyes). The general situation of surgery, the visual recovery at 6mo after operation and the incidence rate of complications in two groups were observed.?RESULTS: There were no significant differences in surgical time, intraoperative blood loss and hospitalization time between the two groups (P>0. 05). There was no significant difference in the excellent and good rate of visual acuity between the two groups before operation between the twogroups (P>0. 05). At 6mo after operation, the excellent and good rates of visual acuity in two groups obviously increased ( P<0. 05 ), while there was no significant difference in the excellent and good rates of visual acuity at 6mo after operation between the two groups ( P > 0. 05 ). There was no significant difference between the two groups in the incidence rates of posterior capsule rupture and vitreous body prolapse (P>0. 05). The incidence rates of corneal edema, iridocyclitis and posterior capsular opacification in the observation group after operation were significantly lower than those in control group (P<0. 05).?CONCLUSION:The effects of IOLⅠphase implantation and Ⅱ phase implantation are similar in patients with traumatic cataract, in terms of the general situation and improvement of visual recovery. However, the incidence of complications after Ⅱ phase implantation is relatively lower.
