Purpose:To explore the effect of anti-FasL on ADM resistance of K562/ADM cell subline and its possible mechanism. Methods:Control group, untreated with VER or anti-FasL ,VER-treated group,anti-FasL-treated group and anti-FasL +VER-treated group were set up. MTT、FCM、TUNEL、S-P immunechemistry and RT-PCR assay were used for detection.Results:Anti-FasL or VER treatment was capable of strengthening sensitivity of K562/ADM cells to ADM,ID 50 of anti-FasL and VER was 200ng/ml and 6?g/ml,respectively;DNA content of apoptosis from cycling analysis curve of K562/ADM cell was 7.42%,32.10%,49.29%,56.26%,respectively,and positive rate in situ apoptosis was 4.5%,36%,45%,58%,respectively,which represented a tendency of gradual increase. Anti-FasL was capable of effecting FasL and bcl-2 expression, but not Pgp.Conclusions:Anti-FasL alone or synergically with VER was capable of reversing ADM resistance of K562/ADM cell, which may be used as a novel reversor of multidrug resistance.

BACKGROUNDTo investigate the clinical value of serum total MMP-9 detection in lung malignancies.
METHODSSerum total MMP-9 levels were detected in 63 patients with lung malignancies by sandwich ELISA with monoclonal antibody against human total MMP-9.
RESULTSSerum total MMP-9 was (92.2± 74.39) μg/L in lung malignancy group, which was significantly higher than that of healthy control [(9.5± 6.74) μg/L](P < 0.05). In lung cancer group, there were significant differences in serum total MMP-9 level between patients with and without lymph node metastasis, and between progressive disease+death group and complete response+partial response group. Significantly negative correlation was observed between serum CA242 and serum total MMP-9 levels (P=0.021).
CONCLUSIONSDetection of serum total MMP-9 may be helpful to predict metastasis and treatment response of lung cancer.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2008;22(4):150-152
OBJECTIVE:
To study MSCT perfusion imaging of nasopharyngeal cancer and its differentiated diagnosis.
METHOD:
Thirty cases with nasopharyngeal cancer performed multi-detector CT perfusion examination. Among them, there were 6 cases of 25 post-radiotherapy patients performed perfusion imaging with CT scan. Nasopharynx perfusion parameters include blood flow (BF), blood volume (BV), mean transit time (MTT) and permeability surface (PS).
RESULT:
Compared with normal region of nasopharynx, BF, BV and PS in nasopharyngeal cancer increased significantly, while MTT has not significant difference between these two areas.
CONCLUSION
Nasopharynx perfusion parameters (BF, BV and PS) measured with CT were significantly altered in nasopharyngeal cancer. There was important appliance value in differentiated diagnosis of nasopharyngeal malignant neoplasms and evaluation of outcome of radiotherapy of nasopharyngeal cancer.

Chinese Journal of Radiology 2020;54(1):23-27
Objective:
To explore the imaging manifestations of thoracic CT in patients with Gaucher disease (GD) in order to improve the diagnostic ability.
Methods:
Forty-three patients with GD were collected from May 2003 to October 2018 in Beijing Children′s Hospital, including 25 males and 18 females, aged from 10 to 34 years, with an average age of (21±6) years. All the patients underwent routine chest CT examinations, and analysis and description of pulmonary interstitial and parenchyma imaging manifestations were performed.
Results:
Among the 43 GD patients, 20 patients presented with abnormal chest CT findings: 10 showed diffuse interlobular septa thickening, mainly distributed in the lower lobes of both lungs; 5 showed ground glass opacities in a single or multiple lobes of the lung. There were 2 cases with small nodules, which showed round-like nodules of different sizes. One case had pulmonary fibrosis, especially in the left upper lobe. Other manifestations included bullae in 3 cases, localized pleural thickening in 2 cases, pneumothorax in 1 case; pulmonary hypertension in 1 case and thymus enlargement in 12 cases. Most of the GD patients had pulmonary lesions between 10 and 14 years old. The signs of interlobular septa thickening and thymus enlargement were common, with 5 cases in each age group.
Conclusions
GD involves the lungs in half of the patients. The manifestations of the lungs are diverse, and most of them are diffuse interstitial lesions. The main signs are interlobular septal thickening and ground glass opacity, which are consistent with the pathology of Gaucher cell infiltration. But the signs are not specific, the diagnosis should be made in combination with the clinical information, and attention should be paid to the differentiation of lung infiltration caused by other diseases.
