The PIK3CA gene codes p100α,the catalytic subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) and is involved in the initiating the PI3K/AKT pathway.PIK3CA plays its biological roles through.downstream PI3K pathway. PIK3CA gene mutants can be detected in many kinds of tumors. The mutant PIK3CA gene can abnormally activate PI3K pathway, leading to the abnormal cell cycle, decreased cell adhesion, down regulated apoptosis and neovascularization, and then promotes tumor genesis and development.Recent researches have found that mutant PIK3CA gene is closely correlated with the genesis, development, differentiation, metastasis and drug resistance of colorectal cancer.Research of PIK3CA in colorectal cancer may provide significant evidence for the early diagnosis, gene screen, therapeutic regimen making, recurrence and follow up.

For the effectiveness in disease treatment and prevention, traditional medicine (TM)has been widely used around the world. Many governments have accepted TM as part of their health system. Meanwhile, the regulation became strict. This paper analyzed the regulation mode of TM and Complementary & Alternative Medicine (CAM) in foreign countries. The regulation mode mainly included: independent legislation for TM, comprehensive legislation as CAM, and self-discipline regulation by trade association. We also analyzed the existing problems and prospected the developing trends in future.

Nucleobindin2protein(NUCB2)isanewlydiscoveredneuropeptideprecursorprotein, which has a comprehensive cytology function and is expressed in the hypothalamus nucleus and many peripheral tissues. There aren′t many studies about its signaling pathway, where neuroendocrine regulation, cell survival growth, tumor suppressor, cytokine secretion were found to involve in it.Besides,it has also been confirmed that breast cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer and prostate cancer are closely related to NUCB2.Therefore, several downstream pathways of NUCB2 may be related to the formation and progression of tumor.Further stud-ies are still needed to clarify the signal pathways of NUCB2 to provide a reliable basis for clinical cancer preven-tion.

Objective To grasp the current situation and trend of health personnel development in public TCM hospitals through the analysis of health personnel statistics data of public TCM hospitals in China; To provide decision-making references for management departments. Methods Data were from the National Health and Family Planning Commission Statistical Information Center. This article analyzed staff number, the average speed of development, the average annual growth rate, health staff age, academic qualifications and job titles and other indicators of TCM public hospitals during 2010-2015. Results From 2010 to 2015, there was an annual increasing tendency of the number of TCM health personnel, and the average annual growth rate was 5.9%, but the growth of the percentage of the TCM health personnel to the total health personnel was only 0.3%. In 2015, the proportion of TCM health personnel was less than 50%; the doctor-to-nurse ratio was 1:1.18; the educational level of postgraduate and undergraduate were 14.0% and 48.0% respectively, less than the average level of national hospitals. Conclusion From 2010 to 2015, there is an increasing tendency of the TCM health personnel of public TCM hospitals, but the proportion of TCM health personnel is low. The doctor-to-nurse ratio is reasonable gradually, but there is still a gap compared with the average level of the national hospitals. The average age of technical health personnel tends to be younger. The proportion of high educational level health personnel is increasing, but the proportion of senior technical position is reduced. The management departments should take appropriate measures to promote the rational allocation of human resources and development of TCM hospitals.

Recently, herbal medicine including traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has gained huge attention in the world. In 2015, the global trades of herbal medicine reached 93.15 billion US dollars. And, the latest statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of People's Republic of China showed that total sales of Chinese patent medicine and raw herbs reached 120 billion US dollars in 2014. Therefore, the aim of this study was to analyze the situation of international marketing on herbal medicine and how much TCM shared in it. The PubMed database, search engines and government websites and research reports were searched for analyses. The results showed that total trades of TCM products in both domestic and foreign markets, were about 135 billion US dollars, including Chinese patent medicine, raw herbs, herbal extracts, herbal health care products, whose proportion of the global marketing was 80%.

Objective To analyze the epidemiological features and trends of glenoid fractures from 2003 through 2012 in the Third Affiliated Hospital to Hebei Medical University. Methods The clinical data were collected of the patients with glenoid fracture who had been treated between January 2003 and December 2012 in our hospital. The patients' gender, age and fracture type of Ideberg classification were documented. The data from January 2003 to December 2007 were assigned into group A and those from January 2008 to December 2012 into group B.The 2 groups were compared to find out the general epidemiological characteristics and trends in the recent 10 years. Results A total of 225 patients with glenoid fracture were collected, including 176 males and 49 females. The total male/female ratio was 3.59∶ 1.The glenoid fractures predominated in an age range of 31 to 40 years (23.56%).According to Ideberg classification, there were 35 cases (15.56%) of type Ⅰ,58 ones (25.78%) of type Ⅱ,64 ones (28.44%) of type Ⅲ,21 ones (9.33%) of type Ⅳ,30 ones(13.33%) of type Ⅴ and 17 ones(7.56%) of type Ⅵ.The male/female ratio was 5.29∶1 in group A of 107 patients and 2.69∶1 in group B of 118 patients. The mean age of group A was 40.2 ± 16.0 years and that of group B 47.5 ± 14.8 years. The differences in male/female ratio, mean age and distribution of age were statistically significant between the 2 groups (P < O.05).The fractures predominated in an age range of 31 to 40 years (28.97%) in group A and in the age group of 51 to 60 years (27.12%) in group B.The most frequent fracture type was type Ⅲ in both groups, accounting for 29.91% and 27.12% respectively. There was no significant difference between the 2 groups in distribution of Ideberg classification (P > 0.05).Conclusions The peak age of glenoid fractures was from 31 to 40 years. There was an increasing trend in the mean age. There were more male patients than female ones. The high-frequency type was Ideberg type Ⅲ.

The paper analyzed the scale, educational background, degree, and financial source of the European students in Chinese TCM colleges and universities by using excel 2013. The results showed that there were 19 TCM colleges and universities recruiting European students, and the number of campus students, enrollment students, graduation students were 409, 257 and 280 in 2017 respectively. The campus students in 2017 was highest since five years ago, but was less than the Afro-Asia states. Training was main form of studying abroad. Most campus students were at their own expenses, or received the help from Chinese government. The education for European students in Chinese TCM colleges and universities has made some achievement, but there were still some questions: the European students was not too much, the education's attraction was not strong, and the financial help from international organization and foreign government was scarce.
