With the development of radiotherapy techniques, the efficacy of radiotherapy for liver tumors has been improved, and radiothera-py can be considered as an alternative treatment for patients who are not suitable for surgery. The progress in liver tumor radiotherapy repor-ted in the 55th annual meeting of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO)in 2013,particularly the efficacy and safety of stereotactic body radiation therapy for liver tumors,is reviewed. In the future, radiotherapy may be increasingly used as an ef-fective method in the treatment of liver tumors. The main studies reported at the meeting are sorted as follows in this article.

Chinese Journal of Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Diseases 2020;38(1):48-50
Objective:
To explore the clinical features of pneumoconiosis complicated with spontaneous pneumothorax to improve the diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
Methods:
Analyze the clinical characteristics and treatment of 350 cases of pneumoconiosis complicated with spontaneous pneumothorax in Hunan Prevention and Treatment Institute for Occupational Diseases from May 2016 to May 2018.
Results:
In 350 patients, 22 cases are pneumoconiosis stage I, accounting for 6.3%, 26 cases are pneumoconiosis stage Ⅱ, accounting for 7.4%, 302 cases were pneumoconiosis stage Ⅲ, accounting for 86.3%.168 cases were recurrent pneumothorax, the recurrence rate was as high as 48%.There were 232 cases occurred in winter and spring, accounting for 66.3%. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and pulmonary infection were 54.9% and 47.4%, respectively. 233 patients were treated with basic therapy such as high flow oxygen therapy, with an effective rate of 93.1%. 114 cases were treated with thoracic closed drainage, with an effective rate of 86%.
Conclusion
Spontaneous pneumothorax is a common complication of pneumoconiosis with high recurrence rate. According to the different conditions to give different treatments in a timely manner can achieve better results.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2020;19(3):368-372
Objective:To investigate the current situation of doctor-patient communication ability and analyze the reasons and countermeasures, so as to provide a reference for the ability cultivation. Methods:We collected the data with survey sampling techniques from 366 graduates of clinical medicine in Grade 2016 at Hubei University of Medicine through a self-designed questionnaire and field interview. Similarly, a total of 266 patients and their family members were asked to evaluate the doctor-patient communication ability of the graduates. Kolmogorov-Smimov Z test was adopted for the enumeration data with skewed distribution, while chi-square test was applied for the enumeration data with normal distribution. The significance level was shown as α=0.05 in the analyses. Results:The doctor-patient communication ability of clinical graduates was far from perfect. The overall matching rate of non-verbal skills (including 4 items of personal appearance, body language, speech rate, voice volume and eye contact) reached 63.5% (930/1 464), while the number dropped below 50% regarding their verbal communication, listening and comprehension skills, professionalism and medical ethics. Graduates of different genders showed different communicative abilities. The self-assessments of graduates differed from the evaluations of patients and their family members. Conclusion:We suggest to lay stress on the cultivation of interpersonal communicative skills of undergraduates; reinforce the education on doctor-patient communication ability, especially on medical ethics and professionalism; enhance continuing education on communicative ability of young doctors.

The male patient of middle-age was admitted to Zhujiang Hospital, Southern Medical University on September 5, 2020, due to wear and rupture of the left foot hallux for more than 10 days, gradually developed swelling and blackening of the left foot and accompanied by drowsiness for 1day. Results from etiological examination of his wound secretions suggested the mixed infection of Wohlfahrtiimonas chitiniclastica and Enterococcus faecalis. The disease progressed rapidly and the patient still died of septic shock after anti-infective treatment. The infection of W. chitiniclastica is rare and has a great relationship with poor hygiene and chronic open wounds. It is necessary to use matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry or 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing for strain identification. Moreover, it is recommended to use cephalosporins or carbapenems as first-line drugs due to the poor prognosis of patients with bloodstream infections.
