Objective:
To explore the reasons and clinical treatment process of postoperative internal hernia in cases of gastric cancer, and improve the diagnosis and treatment level postoperative acute abdomen pain of gastric cancer patients.
Methods:
A retrospective analysis was carried out to study the data of clinical diagnosis and treatment in 7 patients, who were performed an emergency operation within the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from January, 2013 to August, 2016 caused by postoperative internal hernias of gastric cancer.
Results:
Among the 7 postoperative gastric cancer patients, 2 cases had taken surgery of radical full gastric resection, 3 cases had taken surgery of radical distal gastric resection, and 2 cases had taken surgery of radical proximal gastric resection. All the 7 cases were confirmed to be incarcerated intestinal obstruction caused by internal hernia during emergency operation. Only 1 case was diagnosed to be internal hernia before surgery, while 3 cases were diagnosed as volvulus, 2 cases were diagnosed as perforation and 1 case was diagnosed as gastrolplegia. The small intestinal obstruction of all cases was caused by incarcerated intestinal. All the patients recovered well, and no complications occurred.
Conclusions
Internal hernias of the postoperative gastric cancer patients, which is often characterized by small intestinal obstruction symptoms, is difficult to diagnose before operation. Emergency operation in time for the postoperative gastric cancer patients with continuous acute abdominal pain may help to reduce the severe complications and improve patient′s prognosis.

Objective:
To understand the real experience and feelings of self injurious cutting in adolescents with depression, to provide guidance for clinical targeted interventions.
Methods:
During November 2021 to May 2022, 19 adolescent patients with depression who had cut themselves as the type of non suicidal self injury were recruited from a tertiary first class psychiatric hospital in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. All the participants were interviewed in a semi structured manner, which used the interpretative phenomenological analysis to analyze the transcription data.
Results:
The experience and feelings of non suicidal self injury in adolescent with depression could be summarized into five themes: self injury thoughts that arise under external interference; self injurious behavior in a thousand thoughts; painful but a happy experience of self injury; cutting as the most frequently selected form of non suicidal self injury; decreases in self injurious behavior reduced when they feel love and responsibility.
Conclusion
Non suicidal self injury of adolescent patients with depression are affected by various factors. Clinicians should provide targeted clinical care according to the characteristics of patients, as well as the no suicide contract, alternative skills of non suicidal self injury behaviors, and a multi dimensional social support platform with the families of patients.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2007;21(22):1020-1022
OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the treatment and diagnosis of early tympanic isthmus obstruction and dysfunction of eustachian tube.
METHOD:
Three hundred patients (338ears) suffering from early tympanic isthmus obstruction were examinated and observed from 1991 to 2004, and were injected triamcinolone into tympanic cavity at the position of hypokinesis or blockaded the external acoustic meatus according to different state of the illness.
RESULT:
Two hundred and sixty of three hundred case were cured, thirty cases were improved, ten cases were inefficacy.
CONCLUSION
Tympanic isthmus obstruction is a pathognostic type of secretory otitis media. There is significant difference between tympanic isthmus obstruction and secretory otitis media caused by dysfunction of eustachian tube. Prolonged tympanic isthmus obstruction is a reason of primary cholesteatoma of epitympanum's pathogeny. It is important to diagnose and treat of the tympanic isthmus obstruction early.

Sichuan Mental Health 2024;37(4):386-390
BackgroundGeriatric depression is a common psychiatric problem among older adults. Animal-assisted interventions (AAI) can aid in the treatment of psychiatric disorders, but their effectiveness in geriatric depression remains controversial. ObjectiveTo provide an overview of the current research on AAI in alleviating geriatric depression, in order to provide references for developing AAI programs for this population. MethodsBased on Arksey's scoping review method, a comprehensive literature search was conducted on April 16, 2023. The databases searched included China Knowledge Network, VIP, Wanfang Medical Network, China Biomedical Literature Database, Web of Science, PubMed, CINAHL, Cochrane Library and Embase. The search aimed to collect studies related to AAI and geriatric depression from the inception of each database until April 15, 2023. Two trained researchers independently screened the literature and extracted data on basic information. ResultsA total of 13 studies were included in the final review. AAI settings included nursing homes, hospitals, communities, day care centers and residences. Interventions involved touching and naming the animals, verbally interacting with the animals, playing games with the animals, communicating with the therapists and learning to care for the animals. AAI was found to improve social interaction and communication abilities, bring positive emotional experiences and enhance life satisfaction in geriatric depression. However, its effect on cognitive function improvement was inconclusive. ConclusionAAI can potentially alleviate negative mood and depressive symptoms in geriatric depression. Integrin alphavbeta3 plays a major role in various signaling pathways, cell apoptosis, and tumor angiogenesis. To examine the functions and roles of alphavbeta3 integrin, a stable CHO-677 cell line expressing the murine alphavbeta3 heterodimer (designated as "CHO-677-malphavbeta3" cells) was established using a highly efficient lentiviral-mediated gene transfer technique. Integrin subunits alphav and beta3 were detected at the gene and protein levels by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and indirect immunofluorescent assay (IFA), respectively, in the CHO-677-malphavbeta3 cell line at the 20th passage, implying that these genes were successfully introduced into the CHO-677 cells and expressed stably. A plaque-forming assay, 50% tissue culture infective dose (TCID50), real-time quantitative reverse transcription-PCR, and IFA were used to detect the replication levels of Foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) in the CHO-677-malphavbeta3 cell line. After infection with FMDV/O/ZK/93, the cell line showed a significant increase in viral RNA and protein compared with CHO-677 cells. These findings suggest that we successfully established a stable alphavbeta3-receptor-expressing cell line with increased susceptibility to FMDV. This cell line will be very useful for further investigation of alphavbeta3 integrin, and as a cell model for FMDV research.

ObjectiveTo analyze the management and treatment for patients with severe mental disorders in Chengdu from 2016 to 2020, in order to provide references for the relevant authorities to formulate policies and improving the mental health service system. MethodsData relating to 22 districts (cities) and counties in Chengdu from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2020 were extracted from the National Information System for Severe Mental Disorders. Indicators such as reported prevalence rate, management rate, standardized management rate, medication rate, regular medication rate and stable condition rate of patients with severe mental disorders were analyzed on a yearly basis. ResultsBy the end of 2020, there were 71 899 registered cases of severe mental disorders in Chengdu, with a reported prevalence rate of 0.34%, a standardized management rate of 95.53%, and a regular medication rate of 72.50%. From 2016 to 2020, except the reported prevalence rate (χ²=269.566, P<0.01), management rate (χ²=384.030, P<0.01), standardized management rate (χ²=309.742, P<0.01), medication rate (χ²=414.252, P<0.01), regular medication rate (χ²=316.172, P<0.01) and stable condition rate (χ²=288.335, P<0.01) had linear trends of increasing with the annual increase. ConclusionFrom 2016 to 2020, the management rate, treatment rate and regular medication rate of patients with severe mental disorders have been increased year by year in Chengdu. Nevertheless, the increase in reported prevalence rate should be accompanied by strengthened management and follow-up to increase the regular medication rate to maintain the stability of patients' conditions.
