Objective:To study the influence of non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma (NTAPP) on dentine surface temperature, wettability and morphology of collagen fibrils under different treatment condition. Methods:Helium was used as the operating gas at the flow rate of 3, 4, 5 L/min respectively. The plasma jet was operated at various input power of 8, 9, 10, 11 W. Thermal accumulation on human dentine surface (6 specimens per group, acquired from Department of Stomatology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi′an Medical University and Department of Stomatology, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi′an Medical University) of each group was measured continuously at 5 s intervals for 60 s by infrared thermography. Mean values were calculated and temperature curves were drawn. Dentine surface contact angles were measured after NTAPP treatment for 5, 10, 15, 20 s with gas flow rate and input power described above. The micro structure of the collagen fibrils of the negative control group (without NTAPP treatment) and NTAPP treatment groups (5 L/min gas flow rate, input power of 8, 9, 10, 11 W and treating time for 5, 10, 15, 20 s) was observed by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). All data were analyzed by SPSS 18.0.Results:Input power, gas flow and treatment time all showed significant influences on dentine surface temperature and wettability ( P<0.01). Dentine temperature rose along with time. The greater input power was, the higher dentine temperature was. The greater gas flow rate was, the faster the temperature rose. Dentine surface temperature reached the highest point of (35.10±0.24) ℃ with NTAPP treatment for 60 s, at input power of 11 W and flow rate of 5 L/min. The contact angles of each experimental group decreased with time, and significant differences were found in the contact angles between the experimental groups and the negative control group (75.57°±1.45°). The contact angles showed a decreasing trend as the input power and the gas flow rate increased. The contact angles reached the lowest point of 13.19°±2.01° with NTAPP treatment for 20 s, at input power of 10 W and flow rate of 5 L/min. The FE-SEM results showed that, along with the increase of input power and extension of time, the demineralized collagen fibrils were destroyed in varying degrees. The collagen fibrils were curled, fractured, fused, and even disappeared. Conclusions:NTAPP could significantly increase the surface temperature, modify dentine wettability and alter the micro structure, which was significantly influenced by input power, gas flow rate and treating time.

Objective To investigate the value of minimum apparent diffusion coefficient(ADCmin)and delta apparent diffusion coefficient(dADC)of quantitative parameters of MR diffusion weighted imaging(DWI)in differentiating benign from stage Ⅰ malignant ovarian epithelial tumors. Methods A total of 112 patients with primary ovarian epithelial tumors confirmed by operation and pathology(43 benign tumors and 69 stage Ⅰ malignant tumors)were retrospectively selected. All patients underwent routine MRI and DWI before operation. The ADCmin and dADC of solid portion were measured and compared between the two groups.Logistic regression anal-ysis and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve were used to evaluate diagnostic performance of each parameter alone and in combination in differentiating ovarian epithelial benign and stage Ⅰ malignant tumors. Results The ADCmin was greater in benign tumors than that in stage Ⅰ malignant tumors, while dADC was smaller in benign tumors than that in stage Ⅰ malignant tumors(P<0.05).Logis-tic regression analysis showed that ADCmin and dADC were independent risk factors for stage Ⅰ malignant tumors. With threshold of 1.183 × 10-3 mm2/s for ADCmin and 0.579 × 10-3 mm2/s for dADC,the area under the curve(AUC)was 0.802 and 0.857,sensitivity and specificity of 0.885,0.808,0.714,0.857,respectively.According to regression equation logit(P)=7.154+0.267 × dADC-1.016 X ADCmin, the AUC(0.951)was greater than that of single parameter, the sensitivity was 0.890,the specificity was 0.995.Conclusion ADCmin and dADC are useful for differentiating ovarian epithelial benign from stage Ⅰ malignant tumors, and ADCmin combined with dADC can improve the diagnose accuracy before operation.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the methodological and reporting quality of clinical practice guidelines for Chinese patent medicine (CPM) with internationally recognized tools the appraisal of guidelines for research and evaluation (AGEREE) Ⅱ and reporting items for practice guidelines in healthcare (RIGHT), thereby providing refe-rence for the clinical application and future development of CPM guidelines. MethodsDatabases including CNKI, VIP, Wanfang and Sinomed were searched for CPM guidelines, as well as medlive.cn, websites of China Association of Chinese Medicine and Chinese Medical Association, and reference lists of the included papers. The quality of the guidelines was evaluated using the AGREE Ⅱand RIGHT tools, and consistency tests were performed using Interclass Correlation Coefficient, and descriptive analysis and chi-square test were used to analyze the reporting rate for each domain and the average score for each item. ResultsFinally, 140 CPM guidelines were included, of which 51 were disease-oriented and 89 were drug-oriented, all of which were issued by China. For 51 disease-oriented CPM guidelines, the highest average score of all six AGREE Ⅱ domains was 73.32% for clarity, and the lowest was 26.80% for application; for 89 drug-oriented CPM guidelines, the highest average score was 55.62% for scope and purpose, and the lowest was 31.32% for rigour of development. In terms of the seven domains of the RIGHT checklist, the highest reporting rate was 68.26% for background, and lowest was 27.45% for other areas regarding the disease-oriented CPM guidelines; the highest reporting rate was 61.31% for background, and the lowest was 4.49% for other areas regarding drug-oriented CPM guidelines. The average reporting rate was higher for disease-oriented than drug-oriented CPM guidelines in three domains of AGREE Ⅱ (rigour of development, clarity of presentation, editorial independence), as well as four domains of RIGHT checklist (basic information, evidence, funding and declaration and management of interests, and other areas). ConclusionThe overall methodology and reporting quality of the current CPM guidelines still need to be improved. It is recommended that future guideline development teams should strictly refer to the AGREE Ⅱ and RIGHT checklist, and take into account of the characteristics of CPM guidelines and relevant methodo-logical suggestions in the development and reporting of CPM guidelines, thereby guiding the clinical use of CPM in a better way.
