Objective To investigate the reversal of the multidrug resistant gene mdr1 in vivo by antisense oligodeoxynucleotide (ASODN) on the basis of study in vitro. Methods The cultured drug-resistant human hepatocellular carcinoma cells were injected under the skin of axilla to establish the tumor model of nude mice. mdr1 ASODN accompanied by Lipofectamine were injected locally and ADM was injected intraperitoneally. Control 1 and control 2 were locally injected by Lipofectamine and normal saline separately, and ADM was also injected intraperitoneally. Results As time went on the tumor size increased and from the 5th day on alterations were marked, tumor size in different time phase showed marked difference to the prior time phase with significant difference (P 0.05). The results suggested that SODN and Lipofectamine showed no marked effect on tumor growth of nude mice and ASODN had marked inhibition effect on tumor growth. Conclusion mdr1 ASODN can also reverse multidrug resistance of drug-resistant human hepatocellular carcinoma cells in vivo. After the treatment the tumor’s growth in nude mice will slow down in a range of time.

Objective To observe the morphology changes in articular cartilage of knee osteoarthritis ( KOA) model rats after intervention with Shudi Jisheng Zhuanggu Decoction (SJZD). Methods SD rats were randomized into 7 groups, namely blank control group, model group, Paracetamol group ( 0.270 g/kg) , Zhuangu Guanjie Pills group ( 1.08 g/kg) , and high-, middle- and low-dosage SJZD groups ( 27.450, 13.725, 6.863 g/kg, respectively). Rats were injected with papain solution into the right knee joint to build models of KOA before administration of drugs. Thickness of right knee joint was measured to evaluate the effect of SJZD on the swelling degree of knee joint. Histological changes of knee cartilage were evaluated by Mankin scoring method after the cartilage sections being stained with hematoxylin-eosin (HE). Results Swelling degree of knee joint and Mankin scores were significantly increased in the model group compared to the blank control group ( P<0.01). In comparison with the model group, the swelling degree of knee joint and Mankin scores of SJZD groups were significantly decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01), and the pathological changes were relieved. Conclusion SJZD can ameliorate the pathological changes of knee articular cartilage in rats with KOA, so as to delay cartilage degeneration and protect the cartilage.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2016;30(5):399-401
OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the characteristics of vestibular migraine (VM), in order to understand the auditory and vestibular function.
METHOD:
One hundred cases of confirmed or suspected VM patients were observed. Routine examination including pure tone test, vestibular dual temperature test and vestibular evoked myogenic potential(VEMP) and video head impulse test(v-HIT) Were conducted.
RESULT:
The incidence of male and female was about 1.00 : 2. 57. The average age of onset was 47 years, of which the youngest was 19 years old, and the oldest was 74 years old. Ninty-three cases of patients presented with vestibular sensitive performance, including photophobia, phonophobia,or motion sensitive. Fourty-two patients had migraine at the onset of the disease. Thirty-four patients had cochiear symptoms, including tinnitus, ear fullness, or epicophosis. In seventeen cases of fatigue, tension or poor sleep can cause vertigo. Nine patients had low blood pressure, 7 patients presented with hypertension. Two cases of vertigo were closely related to the change of position, and 1 case had visual aura. In the experiment, 94 patients had undergone VEMP test, with 44 cases of abnormal VEMP value. Seventy-nine patients had been examined v-HIT,of whom 2 patients were abnormal (both of which were reduced). Pure tone audiometry was abnormal in 35 cases. Five cases of patients showed abnormal vestibular-double temperature test.
CONCLUSION
Vestibular migraine is more prone to female, with young middle age, and can be accompanied by cochlear symptoms. Vestibular function tests (low frequency and high frequency) are normal.

Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2021;37(1):204-208
Acute liver failure is a serious and complex liver disease with a high short-term mortality rate. Its pathogenesis remains unknown and there is still a lack of effective drugs. Animal models play an important role in further revealing the pathogenesis of acute liver failure and the therapeutic mechanism of drugs, and the selection of experimental animals and preparation methods is the key to the effective implementation of research. This article summarizes the commonly used and new animal models of acute liver failure in recent years and the corresponding preparation methods and divides the animal models of acute liver failure into following four categories: chemical drug model, surgical model, infection model, and other models. Meanwhile, the above models are evaluated based on Terblanche and Hickman evaluation criteria for liver failure models, hoping to provide a reference for model selection and evaluation in basic research on this disease.

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the clinical characteristics, pathological mechanism, diagnose, differential diagnosis and the treatment of vascular compressive vestibular neuropathy.
METHOD:
The authors retrospectively studied 2 cases of vascular compressive vestibular neuropathy about clinical characteristics, auditory tests, vestibular tests and imaging examine results, pharmacotherapy results and reviewed the related documents.
RESULT:
There were some common clinical characteristics: (1) Vertigo and disequilibrium could be elicited by any physical activity and head movement and abated with complete bed rest; (2) Symptoms and signs can't be improved by vestibular suppressant medications; (3) When taken Dix-Hallpike test, true vertigo or a spinning sensation appeared during head movement, when head skilled at any position, the symptoms disappeared; (4) The suffering lateral often showed high frequency sensorineural hearing loss ,the ABR of the suffering lateral showed prolonged inter wave latency of I-III wave; (5) Vestibular tests showed central lesion; (6) Occupying lesion can be ruled out by CT and MRI, MRI showed neurovascular compression of vestibular nerve; (7) Taking carbamazepine plus baclofen or only Tegretol orally can alleviate symptoms. A great deal of surgeries confirmed neurovascular compression of cranial nerve U as a disease entity, the offending artery mainly anterior inferior cerebellar artery. Microvascular decompression of cranial nerve VIII can successfully relieve vertigo.
CONCLUSION
Neurovascular compression of cranial nerve VIII is a disease entity beyond question. It's major characters were vertigo and disequilibrium which elicited by any physical activity and head movement, magnetic resonance tomographic angiography can give valuable information for diagnosis and treatment. Microvascular decompression can effectively relieve vertigo.

Chinese Journal of Preventive Medicine 2018;52(12):1309-1314
At present, sexual route is the main transmission route of AIDS in China, and its role in the process of AIDS epidemic has been evolving. Various modes of transmission in sexual transmission and the prevention and control strategies adopted by China have also been changing. This paper mainly summarizes the epidemic characteristics of different periods and different modes of transmission of human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS) in China in recent years. The strategies of prevention and control were described from seven aspects, including health education, promotion of condom use, expanded testing, HIV/AIDS antiviral treatment, pre-exposure prophylactic medication, post-exposure prophylactic medication, social organization participation and sexually transmitted diseases prevention and control. Only when innovative and targeted measures according to the evolution of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and various specific methods are complemented by each other, can the transmission of HIV/AIDS through sexual route be effectively prevented and controlled.
