To explore the mechanism of electroacupunture (EA) of Zusanli (ST36)in protecting gastric mucosa of dogs.Twenty mongrel dogs were randomly allocated to four groups: blank control group (Group A), non acupoint group (Group B), Shangjuxu (ST37) group (Group C) and Zusanli (ST36) group (Group D). Dynamic gastric mucosal blood flow (GMBF) was monitored by laser Doppler flowmeter and calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) contents in plasma and gastric mucosa were measured simultaneously by radioimmunoassay method. After sixty minutes of EA, GMBF and CGRP contents in plasma and gastric mucosa were increased in Group D (P

Objective To discuss the nursing cooperation method in CT-guided pulmonary nodule localization using indocyanine green combined with methylene blue. Methods A total of 81 patients, who needed to receive pulmonary nodule localization before thoracoscopic resection, were enrolled in this study. The nursing cooperation measures, including the preparation and injection of indocyanine green combined with methylene blue, breathing mode coordination, position management, precise localization coordination, and psychological care, were analyzed. Results Successful nodule localization was accomplished in all patients. No statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse events existed between the patients with different clinical characteristics(P>0.05).The gender, age, lesion site, nodule size,nodule-pleura distance, posture during puncturing and needle path route were not the factors influencing the occurrence of adverse reactions in patients receiving CT-guided pulmonary nodule localization using indocyanine green combined with methylene blue. Conclusion In performing CT-guided pulmonary nodule localization using indocyanine green combined with methylene blue, the nursing cooperation method carries generality and stability, which is suitable for patients with different clinical characteristics.

Objective To explore the effect of Four Flavor Elimination Decoction on treatment of brain metastases. Methods Sixty patients with brain metastases, admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to January 2017,were selected.According to the willing of the patients, they were divided into observation group and control group (n=30).The patients from control group were given conventional medicines, and the patients from observation group were supplemented with Four Flavor Elimination Decoction on the basis of control group. The clinical efficacy of the two groups after treatment, and scores of Kamofsky performance status scale (KPS) and changes of T lymphocyte subsets and tumor markers before treatment and on 7th,14th,21th and 28th d of treatment were observed. Results The total effective rate of the observation group after treatment was 100%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group (50%,P<0.05).KPS scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group on 21st and 28th d of treatment (P<0.05).The levels of CD3+,CD4+ and CD8+ in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group after treatment (P<0.05).The levels of carcino-embryonic antigen, carbohydrate antigen (CA)50 and CA125 in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Four Flavor Elimination Decoction is efficient in treatment of brain metastases, which can improve quality of life and immune indexes, and is worth of clinical application.

Objective:To reassess the prognostic value of minimal residual disease (MRD) and IKZF1 gene deletions in adults with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) who received pediatric-specific chemotherapy regimens during the Nanfang Hospital PDT-ALL-2016 trial. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed the prognosis of 149 adult patients with B-ALL who were admitted to Nanfang Hospital from January 2016 to September 2020. Prognostic factors were identified using Cox regression models. Results:The complete remission rate was 93.2% in 149 patients, with a 5-year overall survival (OS) rate of (54.3±5.0) % and a cumulative incidence of relapse (CIR) of (47.5±5.2) %. The Cox regression analysis revealed that MRD positivity at day 45 (MRD 3) after induction therapy was independently associated with relapse risk ( HR=2.535, 95% CI 1.122-5.728, P=0.025). Deletion of IKZF1 gene was independently associated with mortality risk ( HR=1.869, 95% CI 1.034-3.379, P=0.039). Based on MRD 3 and IKZF1 gene status, we categorized adult patients with B-ALL into the low-risk (MRD 3-negative and IKZF1 gene deletion-negative) and high-risk (MRD 3-positive and/or IKZF1 gene wild type) groups. The 5-year OS and CIR rates were (45.5±6.0) % vs (69.4±8.6) % ( P<0.001) and (61.6±8.3) % vs (25.5±6.5) % ( P<0.001), respectively, in the high-risk and low-risk groups, respectively. The multivariate analysis showed that the high-risk group was an independent risk factor for OS ( HR=3.937, 95% CI 1.975-7.850, P<0.001) and CIR ( HR=4.037, 95% CI 2.095-7.778, P<0.001) . Conclusion:The combined use of MRD and IKZF1 gene in prognostic stratification can improve clinical outcome prediction in adult patients with B-ALL, helping to guide their treatment.

Graves'ophthalmopathy(GO),also known as thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy,is an organ-specific au-toimmune disease that ranks first in the incidence of adult orbital diseases.GO has complex clinical manifestations, and dry eyes are a common cause of eye discomfort in patients with this disease. The pathogenesis of concurrent dry eyes is still unclear. It is currently believed that ocular surface damage in patients with GO is a direct factor leading to the occurrence and development of dry eyes.In addition, immunity and inflammation, and intestinal flora imbalance also play a role.Mul-tiple factors interact to form a vicious cycle, which further aggravates dry eyes. This article reviews the research results re-lated to the pathogenesis of GO complicated by dry eyes, aiming to provide ideas for clinical treatment and further research in the field.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the inhibitory effects of total alkaloids of Gelsemium elegans (TAG) on the proliferation and angiogenesis of human colon cancer cells. METHODS :Human colon cancer cell line HT- 29 and HUVEC were cultured in vitro . After the intervention of low- ,medium-,high-dose TAG (40,80,120 μg/mL),the morphology of the two cells was observed by fluorescence inversion microscope. The survival rate of HT- 29 cells and HUVEC was detected by CCK- 8 assay. Flow cytometry was used to detect HT- 29 cell cycle. The migration rate ,invasion rate and tube number of HUVEC were observed by scratching test ,Transwell invasion experiment and tube formation experiment. RESULTS :Compared with blank group ,HT-29 cells and HUVEC were decreased to different extents in TAG groups ;dead cells were observed ,and the survival rate of both decreased significantly (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The proportion of HT- 29 cells at G 2/M phase in TAG groups as well as those at G 0/G1 phase in medium-dose group were increased significantly ;the proportion of HT- 29 cells at S phase in TAG groups as well as those at G 0/G1 phase in high-dose group were decreased significantly (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Survival rate ,migration rate and invasion rate of HUVEC were decreased significantly in TAG groups ,and tube number was also decreased significantly at each time point during 4-24 h(P<0.01). CONCLUSIONS :TAG have inhibitory effect on the proliferation of human colon cancer HT- 29 cells and HUVEC,can change HT- 29 cell cycle ,inhibit the migration ,invasion and tube formation of HUVEC.
