Objective To investigate the mastering of osteoporosis knowledge and the level of self-efficacy in patients treated with aromatase inhibitors and to provide references for further preventive interventions. Methods A total of seventy five patients with breast cancer treated with aromatase inhibitors were recruited from Zhejiang Cancer Hospital using convenience sampling method. They were investigated with osteoporosis knowledge test ( OKT ) and osteoporosis self-efficacy scale ( OSES ) . Results The total score of osteoporosis knowledge was 51. 90, in which the score of risk factors of osteoporosis, exercise and calcium intake were 55. 75,50. 67 and 47. 67, respectively. The correct rate of osteoporosis knowledge was statistically different in people with different educational level and approach of health education (P<0. 05). The total score of self-efficacy and factor scores of exercise and calcium intake were (59. 80 ± 19. 88),(60. 25 ± 21. 99),(59. 35 ± 17. 76)respectively. Conclusions It is suggested to strengthen osteoporosis related health education for patients with breast cancer, and to increase their health information and beliefs, and help them to formulate health behaviors to prevent osteoporosis.

Objective To summarize the experience of nursing six patients who showed pitch-off syndrome when the port was implanted and to analyze the causes of pitch-off syndrome so as to guide the nursing and observation of patients who received port implantation. Methods By observing the patients' symptoms and physical signs based on X-ray reports, pitch-off syndrome was diagnosed. Then correct treatment methods were chosen according to the severity of pitch-off syndrome. Results The six patients with pitch-off syndrome were treated based on their severity. The port-cath was removed in two patients since it cracked. The port-cath was removed in two patients who showed level one pitch-off syndrome after two cycles of chemotherapy. And the port-cath of the remaining two patients was also removed to prevent it from cracking since their level one pitch-off worsened to level three. Conclusions Pitch-off syndrome is the most dangerous complication caused by port implantation. Nursing staff should promptly assess and identify the risks of pitch-off syndrome. The port-cath should be used with great caution when the patients suffer from pitch-off syndrome but badly need venous access. In the event of in vivo cath cracks, nursing staff should work together with doctors to remove the port immediately. Pitch-off syndrome prevention is an important measure to reduce cath cracks.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2024;30(17):2273-2279
Objective:To explore the real experience of fertility concerns in cervical cancer patients with preserved fertility function, so as to provide a basis for developing targeted nursing measures. Methods:This study was a qualitative study of descriptive phenomenology. From June 2018 to June 2021, purposive sampling was used to select 17 young cervical cancer patients who underwent radical abdominal trachelectomy or minimally invasive laparoscopic radical trachelectomy at Zhejiang Cancer Hospital as the study subjects. Face to face semi-structured interview was conducted with patients. Colaizzi 7-step analysis method was used to analyze data and extract themes. Results:Four themes were extracted, namely the multiple manifestations caused by fertility concerns, the sense of guilt caused by diseases and fertility issues, the need for health support, and strategies to actively address psychological issues caused by fertility concerns. Conclusions:Cervical cancer patients who preserve their fertility function generally have fertility concerns and an urgent need for health support, requiring support from medical and nursing staff, families, and society. Medical and nursing staff should pay attention to the fertility concerns of such patients, provide personalized psychological intervention as soon as possible to alleviate their fertility concerns.

Objective To systematically evaluate the measurement properties and methodological quality of the palliative quality assessment tools based on the cancer patient experiences, and to provide an evidence-based basis for the selection of a high-quality assessment tool for healthcare professionals. Methods Systematic search of PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,CINAHL,CNKI,Wanfang database,VIP database, and China Biomedical Literature database for studies related to the evaluation of the measurement properties of the self-report palliative care quality assessment tools for cancer patients. The search period from the date of creation to December 10,2023.There are 2 researchers who independently conducted literature screening and data extraction according to the COSMIN selection criteria, and used the COSMIN Risk of Bias Inventory and Quality Criteria Scale to measure the academic characteristics and form the final recommendations. Results A total of 19 studies involving 8 assessment tools for cancer patients were included. The final 6 assessment tools were recommended at level B.2 assessment tools are recommended at level A.Conclusion The SF-QCQ-PC and the Self-Report Palliative Care Quality Assessment Tool for Terminal Cancer Patients can be provisionally recommended. However, further validation of its measurement properties is still needed.

Objective:To explore the application effect of non-vomiting information management system in chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) of cancer patients. Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, from September 2015 to December 2018, a total of 1 980 tumor patients who received chemotherapy (including intravenous chemotherapy and intravenous plus oral chemotherapy) in Department of Abdominal and Breast Oncology in Zhejiang Cancer Hospital were selected as the pre-improvement group (before the application of non-vomiting information management system) . The 332 patients who received chemotherapy from October to December 2019 were selected as the post-improvement group (after the application of non-vomiting information management system) . From May 2019, the non-vomiting information management system was constructed to form the clinical pathways, including the risk assessment module of CINV, the medical order issuance module for anti-vomiting and the follow-up system module, and the system began trial operation in October 2019. The CINV detection status, nurse satisfaction, patient satisfaction and other indexes were compared between the two groups before and after the improvement. Results:After the application of non-vomiting information management system, the detection rate of CINV of patients, nurse satisfaction and patient satisfaction increased, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The application of non-vomiting information management system is helpful to dynamically understand the occurrence of CINV in patients anytime and anywhere, give timely guidance and treatment and improve the satisfaction of nurses and patients.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2019;35(33):2594-2597
Objective:
To investigate the current status and influencing factors of basis of the replacement of short peripheral intravenous catheters for clinical nurses and explore the obstruction of the latest guide promoted in practice.
Methods:
The qualitative research method was adopted, and semistructured interviews were used to interview 11 clinical nurses. Data were analyzed by the method of category analysis.
Results:
Although the clinical nurses mainly used the national standards to do practical operation, they preferred to carry out catheter replacement according to clinical indications. The difference between the latest guide and the national standards was the main obstruction in the practical promotion of the latest guide.
Conclusions
The removal of short peripheral intravenous catheters according to clinical indications is more suitable for clinical practice. Further improving the standards of intravenous therapy in China has become a fundamental measure to solve the contradictions of work of clinical nurses, improve patients′ medical experience and save medical resources.
