Infectious disease is a major public health problem threatening human health and social development, and infectious disease teaching is an important part of public health education. However, traditional infectious disease teaching faces challenges such as overly theoretical and fragmented content, overly traditional and monotonous methods, and a narrow and isolated vision, which makes it difficult to adapt to the current complex and changing situation of infectious disease prevention and control. The “One Health” concept emphasizes interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral, and cross-regional communication and cooperation to achieve the harmonious unity of health for humans, animals, and the environment, which is significant in preventing and controlling infectious diseases. This paper proposes some ideas for reforming infectious disease teaching based on the One Health concept, which aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of infectious disease teaching by recognizing the close connection between human health, animal health, and environmental health. Specifically, it is suggested to reform the teaching in four aspects: introducing the basic concepts, principles, and practices of One Health, increasing the content of infectious diseases related to One Health, adopting diversified and interactive teaching methods, and establishing cross-disciplinary teaching cooperation. Concrete recommendations are provided for each aspect. This paper argues that reforming infectious disease teaching based on the One Health concept is conducive to cultivating public health talents with global vision, systems thinking, and cross-disciplinary collaboration capabilities, providing robust talent support for coping with emerging, re-emerging, and endemic infectious disease threats.

Objective:
To construct a risk prediction model for poly victimization (PV) among rural left behind middle and high school students in Chaoshan, and to evaluate the prediction effect of the model, so as to provide scientific basis for early identification and prevention of PV among students.
Methods:
A questionnaire survey was conducted among 1 005 left behind students, selected from 7 middle and high schools in rural areas of Shantou City and Jieyang City by a stratified random cluster sampling method from January 2020 to September 2021, for the personal, family, external environmental factors, psychological factors (mental resilience, coping approaches, self esteem and social support) and PV situations. R software and Logistic regression were used to screen predictor variables to build a risk prediction model, and the area under the ROC curve (area under the curve, AUC), accuracy, precision, recall, F1 value and calibration curve were used to evaluate the model s effect.
Results:
The incidence rate of PV among left behind middle and high school students was 23.38%. The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that physical illness or disability ( β =1.02), grade retention during the past year ( β =1.31), having no close partner ( β =1.00), self harm intention (seldom: β = 0.58 , occasionally: β =0.79), negative peer behavior ( β =0.90), family member smoking ( β =0.59), criminal offenses of parents ( β =1.04), witnessing school bullying ( β =0.78), house moving ( β =0.58), using venting ( β =0.34) and the coping style of patience ( β =0.28) were positively correlated with PV among left behind children in Chaoshan area, and family support in psychological flexibility ( β =-0.31) was negatively correlated with PV ( P <0.05). A nomogram prediction model was constructed for the meaningful variables included in the multivariate analysis, and the prediction model AUC was 0.88, the accuracy was 82.00 %, the precision was 77.78%, and the F1 value was 43.75%. The calibration plot fitted well, and the model had good discrimination and calibration.
Conclusion
The risk prediction model for left behind middle and high school students with PV has good predictive performance and is helpful for schools and communities to early identify high risk middle and high school students with PV.

Background:
Pseudorabies, also known as Aujeszky's disease, is caused by the pseudorabies virus (PRV) and has been recognized as a critical disease affecting the pig industry and a wide range of animals around the world, resulting in great economic losses each year. Shandong province, one of the most vital food animal-breeding regions in China, has a very dense pig population, within which pseudorabies infections were detected in recent years. The data, however, on PRV epidemiology and coinfection rates of PRV with other major swine diseases is sparse.
Objectives:
This study aimed to investigate the PRV epidemiology in Shandong and analyze the current control measures.
Methods:
In this study, a total number of 16,457 serum samples and 1,638 tissue samples, which were collected from 362 intensive pig farms (≥ 300 sows/farm) covered all cities in Shandong, were tested by performing enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
Results:
Overall, 52.7% and 91.5% of the serum samples were positive for PRV-gE and -gB, respectively, based on ELISA results. In addition, 15.7% of the tissue samples were PCR positive for PRV. The coinfection rates of PRV with porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2), porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus, and classical swine fever virus were measured; coinfection with PCV2 was 35.0%, higher than those of the other two viruses. Macroscopic and microscopic lesions were observed in various tissues during histopathological examination.
Conclusions
The results demonstrate the PRV prevalence and its coinfection rates in Shandong province and indicate that pseudorabies is endemic in pig farms in this region. This study provides epidemiological data that can be useful in the prevention and control of pseudorabies in Shandong, China.

Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2021;37(7):523-527
Objective:To analyze the distribution characteristics of peripheral retinopathy in Chinese patients with diabetic retinopathy (DR).Methods:A cross-sectional study. From January to December 2019, 265 cases of 388 eyes of DR patients diagnosed in the eye examination of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital were included in the study. Among them, there were 211 eyes in 148 males and 177 eyes in 117 females; the average age was 58.4±12.3 years. Ultra-wide-angle fundus imaging (UWF) examination was performed by Daytona in Aalborg, UK. Use Photoshop to simulate the standard 7-azimuth (S7F) area, which was used as the central retinal area 1-7. The peripheral retinal areas 3-7 (P3-P7) were the adjacent peripheral retinal areas of the central retinal area 3-7, respectively. Divided DR into peripheral lesion predominant type (PPL) and central lesion predominant type (PCL). PPL was defined as at least one peripheral retinal area with more severe disease than its adjacent central area. χ 2 test was performed on the difference of PPL composition ratio in each retinal area of eyes with different DR stages. Results:Among 388 eyes, 200 eyes were PPL (51.5%, 200/388). Compared of PPL composition ratios of eyes with different stages of DR, mild non-proliferative DR (NPDR), moderate NPDR, severe NPDR and proliferative DR were 32 (36.8%, 32/87), 89 (55.3%, 89/161)), 42 (51.9%, 42/81), 37 (62.6%, 37/59), the difference was statistically significant ( χ2=11.440, P=0.010). Comparison of the distribution of PPL in each retinal area in DR eyes: in 200 PPL eyes, areas 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 have 87, 101, 78, 67, and 38 eyes, respectively. The distribution of PPL in each retinal area in DR eyes was compared, and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2=37.640, P<0.001). Conclusions:PPL accounts for 51.5% of the eyes with DR. The DR stage are more severe, the proportion of PPL is higher. The temporal retinal peripheral lesions are the most common.
