Using the approaches of ontology, informatics and knowledge management, this paper explored and established ICF based ontology, concepts and terminology, classification, coding system and related knowledge management. The applications of ICF based infor-mation standard had been discussed in the areas of disability and rehabilitation assessment, clinical and rehabilitation information, Function-al Diagnosis Related Groups (fDRGs) and disability survey statistics and policy development.

Management information platform of International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) was developed based on the Classification Markup Language (ClaML). The standard representative and management of the ICF structure, encoding system,classes and semantics had developed, and the functions such as the classification editing, modification, search, viewing and checking had been realized. This system can be used in classification import, export and application in other systems.

An advanced web-based database management and statistic monitoring system had been developed by system requirement analysis and framework design. The system which has implemented the related functions, such as data input, modification, upload, printing,recall, statistic, user administration and etc.

With the comprehensive model of ICF, the approach and construction of knowledge system of modern sciences of rehabilitation and rehabilitation education had been developed and explored. The influences and approaches of ICF based approach had been discussed applied in rehabilitation and rehabilitation education. from the perspective of "biology-psychology-society".

International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) is one of core classifications launched by WHO. This paper discussed interactive model of functioning and disability and terminological system based on ICF and approaches of the developments of standardized measurement instruments.

OBJECTIVE:To estimate the cost-effectiveness of4therapeutic regi mens in the treatment of candidal vaginitis.METHODS:182out-patients with candidal vaginitis in the hospital where the authors worked were randomly di?vided into4groups:baofukang suppository group(A),miconazole suppository+miconazole cream group(B),povidone Iodine ointment group(C),and luohuazizhu suppository group(D),medical economy was applied to analyze the cost-effectiveness.RESULTS:The costs in4groups were56.2yuan,69.4yuan,75.3yuan,and53.9yuan respectively;The effective rates were93.3%,91.3%,91.3,and80.0%respectively;The ratios of cost to effectiveness were0.60,0.76,0.82,and0.67re?spectively;Compared with D,the added cost-effectiveness ratio of A,B,C are0.17,1.37and1.89respectively.CONCLU?SION:Baofukang suppository is a preferable drug to treat candidal vaginitis.

Objective To study the effects of mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)transfection on the proliferation of NIH3T3 fibroblasts.Methods The plasmid of pcDNA3-mTOR was transfected into NIH3T3 fibroblasts with electroporation method.The positive cell clones were selected with G418.The stable mRNA and protein expressions of mTOR in the cells were determined by RT-PCR and Western blotting analysis respectively.MTT assay was employed to observe the proliferation of NIH3T3 fibroblasts.Results mTOR mRNA and protein expressions increased obviously in transfected group than that of in control group(P

Objective To apply the theory and model of International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (Children and Youth Version) (ICF-CY) in rehabilitation for children with cerebral palsy. Methods A case accepted rehabilitation in the framework of ICF-CY was reported. Results and Conclusion The framework of ICF-CY can be used in rehabilitation for children with cerebral palsy.

This research analyzed the functioning and cost-effect of 93 inpatients with Stroke at post acute Stage using ICF Core Set (Comprehensive Version for Stroke). The main functioning impairments are in ICF categories of b147, b152, b176, b235, b420, b715, s110,s720, s730, s750, d1, d2, d4, and d5. The main improvement of function are in the fields of b1, b4, b7, d1, d2, d4, d5, d6, d7, d8 and d9 (P<0.05). The total expenses of rehabilitation medicine averages 6713.97 RMB. It cost 320.50 RMB to impove 1 score of functioning.

This paper discussed the framework of global policies of disability and approaches, explored the implementation of ICF and CBR Guideline, and emphasized the importance of capacity building using ICF and CBR Guideline.
