1.Clinic analysis of surgical treatment of abdominal giant incisional hernia with patch: a report of 14cases

Objective To explore the etiology of abdominia incision hernia and treatments of giant incisional hernia of abdominal wall. Methods 14 cases with AGIH treated in our hospital from Oct 2003 to May 2008 were analyzed retrospectively. Results The etiology of abdominia incision hernia were very important,and abdominal longitudinal incision was performed, 10 cases > 67y among 14 cases with incision hernia were 71.42%. Infection of incision and essential conditions( diabetes, chronic cough ,hypoalbum inemia)were also easily induced of incisional hernia. All of them chose the marlex patch. The cases were all cured and no serious postoperative complications. None of cases recurred during a follow up of 3 to 56 months. Conclusion The etiology of AGIH related with longitudinal incision,old ( > 60y)and essential conditions. AGIH were repained with polypropylene mesh. Essential conditions should be treated before operation and abdominal wall should be trained comfortablely. Repairing abdominal incision hernial with artifical patch was a safe and simple operation with minimal postoperation pain.
2.Application of tension-free hernia repair to inguinal hernia

Objective To evaluate clinical value of tension-free hernia repair in inguinal hernia.Methods The clinical data of 181 patients with 188 inguinal hernia were treated with tension-flee hernia repair,Mesh plug-patch were used in the operations.The operative procedure,postoperative pain,patient ability recovery,complications and recurrence rate were studied.Results All cases operated successfully.The mean operation time was 50min.The postoperative complications were 6 cases of urinary retention and 3 cases of scrotal hydroceles.Local hematoma appeared in 5 cases.3 cases complained of foreign body feeling.The average postoperative stay was 7 days.The follow-up period ranged from 3 to 36 months and no recurrence was observed.Conclusions Tension-free hernia repair is a perfect surgical operation for the inguinal hernia.It has many advantages,such as simplicity,minimal invasion,less postoperative pain,rapid recovery,good recent therapeutic effect and lower recurrence.The operation type should be individulized.
3.Application of case method teaching to emergency talent training in environmental hygiene

Case method teaching is a heuristic,practical and open instruction approach. It was introduced to emergency talent training in Environmental Hygiene in order to highlight the capability training and develop a dynamic teaching mode instead of static one. Issues of necessity, feasibility,procedures and noticeable problems about application of case method teaching were dis-cussed.
4.Pre-operative treatment in neonate with critical congenital heart diseases

Objective To analyze the epidemiology and clinical features of the critical congenital heart diseases in neonates,and to summarize the main points on pre-operative treatments.Methods We retrospectively analyzed all critical congenital heart disease in newborns admitted to CICU from June 2014to June 2015.Depict entity distribution,the main symptoms,and the key points on their treatments,also the indi-cation of intubation and their operation time were summarized.Results In totally 96cases,transposition of the great artery,with and without the intact ventricle septum,was the biggest category and counts for 49%in our group.Severe cyanosis was the main symptom for 62.5% of all cases.Another key symptom was the heart failure(33.3%).Eight-seven cases were intubated during their treatments,in which 41were intubated as soon as they were admitted and 40cases were done in the first 24hours after their admission.One case died before treatment due to interrupted aortic arch.All the rest received operations during their hospital stay. Conclusion Transposition of great artery is the dominating entity in critical congenital heart diseases in new-borns;severe cyanosis is the main symptom.Treatment should be based on each characteristic anatomy and hemodynamics features.Rigorous and dynamic monitoring on the homeostasis and metabolic index determines the indication of intubation and surgery time.
5.Studies on Quality Standard of Guanxin Qiwei Tablet

[Objective] To establish the quality standard for Guanxin Qiwei Tablet. [Methods] Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Lignum Dalbergiae Odoriferae, Rhizoma Kaempferiae and Fructus Choerospondiatis in Guanxin Qiwei Tablet were identified by TLC. TanshinoneⅡA content was determined by HPLC.[Results] Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Lignum Dalbergiae Odoriferae, Rhizoma Kaempferiae and Fructus Choerospondiatis can be identified by TLC, the spot being clear without the interference of negative control. A good linearity was in the range of 0.022-0.154 ?g, the average recovery of tanshinone ⅡA was 97.9%, and RSD was 1.22%. [Conclusion] This method is simple and can be used to evaluate the quality of Guanxin Qiwei Tablet.
6.The diagnosis and different treatment of scimitar syndrome in 14 cases

Objective Investigate the clinical features,diagnosis and treatments of the scimitar syndrome,and different forms of treatment to alleviate pulmonary hypertension.Methods A retrospective analysis of clinical data of 14 children with scimitar syndrome from 2013 to 2017,including clinical symptoms and signs,chest X ray,echocardiography,chest CT and cardiac catheterization,treatment outcome and follow-up.Assess embolization of systemic pulmonary collateral and pulmonary venous drainage correction surgery,which is better for lowering pulmonary blood flow.Results 14 patients with scimitar syndrome were diagnosed from 2013 to 2017.There were 5 boys and 9 girls;3 cases <7 kg in weight.Scimitar syndrome was suspected because of extroversion,and diagnosed by color Doppler echocardiography and 13 of them confirmed by cadiac CT scan when ascimitar vein was detected entering the inferior vena cava.11 patiens had right lung dysplasia and 4 had horseshoe lung.Three patients had severe pulmonary arterial hypertension,3 had moderate to severe pulmonary arterial hypertension,and 2 had moderate pulmonary arterial hypertension,the left had slight pulmonary arterial hypertension.4 patients had pulmonary venous drainage correction surgery,after that 2 of them had systemic pulmonary collateral embolism.6 patients systemic pulmonary collateral embolism first,then 4 of them had surgical repair,1 case of 13 years old asymptomatic child without surgery.1 patient with heart failure,severe pulmonary hypertension,pulmonary infection,died before surgery,while another died after surgical repair.At last 1 patient was lost for follow-up visits.Systemic pulmonary collateral embolism and pulmonary venous drainage correction surgery could all reduce blood flow of pulmonary.After systemic pulmonary collateral embolism,patients had slight pulmonary arterial hypertension just need follow-up visits.Conclusion Clinically,found children with heart of dextrocardia position,growth retardation,recurrent lung infections,unexplained right heart failure,pulmonary hypertension,should consider the possibility scimitar syndrome.Whether pulmonary vascular embolization or surgical repair,can significantly reduce pulmonary artery's blood flow and alleviate pulmonary hypertension to protect pulmonary,even reduced the incidence of pneumonia and mortality.So we suppose ealy pulmonary hypertension in scimitar syndrome patients maybe dynamic pulmonary hypertension.

Lung cancer, which is exacerbated by environmental pollution and tobacco use, has become the most common cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, with a five-year overall survival rate of only 19% (Siegel et al., 2020; Yang et al., 2020; Yu and Li, 2020). Nearly 85% of lung cancers are non-small cell lung cancers, of which lung adenocarcinoma is the most common subtype accounting for 50% of non-small cell lung cancer cases. At present, radiotherapy is the primary therapeutic modality for lung cancer at different stages, with significant prolongation of survival time (Hirsch et al., 2017; Bai et al., 2019; Shi et al., 2020). Irradiation can generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) through the radiolysis reaction of water and oxygen, cause DNA damage and oxidative stress, and subsequently result in cancer cell death (Kim et al., 2019). Nevertheless, radioresistance seriously hinders the success of treatment for lung cancer, owing to local recurrence and distant metastasis (Huang et al., 2021). Compared with small cell lung cancer, non-small cell lung cancer shows more tolerance to radiotherapy. Therefore, it is of great importance to decipher key mechanisms of radioresistance and identify effective molecular radiosensitizers to improve patient survival.
