2.A novel system for simultaneous monitoring of locomotor and sound activities in animals
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2001;10(1):13-15
Objective To develop a PC-based system for simultaneous monitoring of locomotor and sound activities on small rodents. Methods The displacement and location signals of the animal were first determined across consecutive video-frames, followed by marked data reduction to cater for long-term studies. At the same time, sounds generated by the animal were detected and the sound level was recorded as root-mean-square values at 1-sec intervals. Results Preliminary data showed that such a multi-parametric monitor system could provide comprehensive information on the animal's activity. Conclusion It can be applied in many study field.

Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(11):1072-1075
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of warm needling plus palm pressing spine reduction technique in treating postpartum thoracic facet joint disorder. Methods Forty patients with postpartum thoracic facet joint disorder were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 20 cases each. The treatment group received warm needling plus palm pressing spine reduction technique and the control group, warm needling alone. The numeric pain rating scale (NPRS) score, the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) score and the Quality of Life Scale score were recorded in the two groups before and after treatment and the clinical therapeutic effects were compared between the two groups. Results The total efficacy rate was 95.0% in the treatment group and 75.0% in the control group; there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01). There were statistically significant pre-/post-treatment differences in the NPRS score and the ODI score in the treatment group (P<0.01). There was a statistically significant pre-/post-treatment difference in the NPRS score in the control group (P<0.01). There were statistically significant post-treatment differences in the NPRS score and the ODI score between the treatment and control groups (P<0.01,P<0.05). There were statistically significant pre-/post-treatment differences in the SF-36 PF, RP, BP, VT, SF and MH scores in the treatment group (P<0.01,P<0.05). There were statistically significant pre-/post-treatment differences in the SF-36 PF BP, SF and MH scores in the control group (P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusion Warm needling plus palm pressing spine reduction technique is an effective way to treat postpartum thoracic facet joint disorder.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(02):-
This paper introduces a novel animal behavior monitoring system, in which a acoustooptic shielded room, computer multimedia technology, image acquisition technology, signal analysis technology are involved. This system can implement long-term non-interference automatic monitoring of the experimental animal with features of accurate recording, complete and objective analysis, and convenient and effective statistics. Applied widely to the animal model for post -traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), the system is designed to be used for other biomedical studies.

Objective To investigate the effect of rehabilitation nursing system of manipulative reduction and tradi-tional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment to alleviate the clinical stage of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion promoting effect. Methods 200 cases of remission in patients with lumbar disc herniation were divided into intervention group and con-trol group with 100 cases in each group, the control group of the implementation of general nursing, intervention group re-ceived rehabilitation nursing system based on general nursing. Results 20 days later, compare the lumbar function score, the intervention group was significantly better than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (p<0.01). The intervention group: the total efficiency of 98%.Control group: the total efficiency of 85%.The total efficiency of two groups were significant difference ( p <0.05 ) .Conclusion rehabilitation nursing treatment to alleviate the superposition effect of lumbar disc herniation, has an important significance to improve the clinical efficacy and quality of life.

Healthcare at home is accepted little by little with the development of medical service in the community. This paper introduces the design method of mobile ECG monitoring system terminal for healthcare at home. The adoption of active electrode and digital trap contributes to the elimination of the external interference. Low-power-consumption MSP430 micro-controller applied, the realtime acquisition, procession and transmission to PDA of ECG are performed.

Objective To investigate the circulatory levels of hormones and cytokines in the patients with the chronic heart failure(CHF)and the effect of naftopidil. Methods The levels of tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?),interleukin-1(IL-1),interleukin-6(IL-6),endothelin-1(ET-1),adrenomedullin(Adm),neuropeptide Y(NPY),calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP),atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP),brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)and C-type natriuretic peptide(CNP),and left ventricular fraction(LVEF)of 47 patients with CHF(CHF group)and 24 healthy subjects(control group)were measured by radioimmunoassay or echocardiography respectively. The patients were randomized to receive naftopidil(50mg Bid)in addition to routine therapy(B group,n=23)or routine therapy only(A group,n=24)for one-month.Results (1)The levels of TNF-?,IL-1,IL-6,ET-1,Adm,NPY,ANP,BNP and CNP of the CHF group were higher(P 0.05)in the levels of IL-1,IL-6,Adm,CNP and LVEF.(4)There were significantly inverse correlations between LVEF and TNF-?,ET-1,IL-6 or BNP(P

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(11):-
Objective To explore the optimal method and condition for controlling release of vincristine (VCR) from VCR-loaded erythrocytes and enhancing the stability of carrier erythrocytes. Methods Erythrocytes were loaded into human erythrocytes using the modified hypotonic pre-swelling and isotonic resealing technique, and then with VCR, and they were treated with glutaraldehyde in concentration of 0.16% and 0.25% respectively. After storing at 4℃ for indicated time, the amount of VCR was determined with HPLC to compare their drug-release rate, and the degree of hemolysis in the supernatants was observed to compare the fragility of VCR-loaded erythrocytes treated with 0.16% glutaraldehyde with that with 0.25%, VCR-loaded erythrocytes treated with PBS, and VCR-loaded erythrocytes exposed to different hypotonic sodium chloride in different concentrations. Results The VCR-accumulated release rate increased in glutaraldehyde-treated VCR-loaded erythrocytes as well as untreated group during preservation. The VCR-accumulated release rate of 0.25% glutaraldehyde-treated group decreased by 71.67?4.20%, which was significantly slower than untreated VCR-loaded erythrocytes and 0.16% glutaraldehyde-treated group. After storing at 4℃ for 21 days, no significant changes at erythrocyte morphology was found in VCR-loaded erythrocytes treated with 0.25% glutaraldehyde, whereas untreated VCR-loaded erythrocytes and those treated with 0.16% glutaraldehyde can be stored only for 5d and 7.5d respectively. As compared to un-treated VCR-loaded erythrocytes, no significant change of osmotic fragility was seen in 0.25% glutaraldehyde-treated group, but significant increase in osmotic fragility was seen in 0.16% glutaraldehyde-treated group. Conclusion 0.25% glutaraldehyde could optimally block the membrane of VCR-loaded human erythrocytes and enhance their stability.
