To study the secretion of epidermic growth factor (EGF) in tears from patients with herpes simplex virus keratitis (HSVK), radio-immunoprecipitation was used to detect the value of EGF in human reflex tears from 40 cases as control group (group A), 49 cases of acute HSVK (group B) and 31 cases of convalescence HSVK (group C). Results showed that the value of EGF in reflex tears from the patients in the group B was obviously increased as compared with that in the group A and group C (P<0.001). The value of EGF in tears in the group C was higher than in group A (P<0.05). It was concluded that the value of EGF in reflex tears from HSVK patients was higher than that from normal people.

Objective To observe the clinical effect oflamellar keratectomy+conjunctival flap+implanted artificial eyein stimulating the orbital and conjunctival sac growth. Methods A retrospective case study: 12 cases (12 eyes) with congenital microphthalmos in the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University in 2009-2013 were selected. In these cases, there were 11 cases of microphthalmos, and 1 patient due to congenital absence of the eye without surgery, were given direct implant of the artificial eye;7 patients without significant stenosis in conjunctival sac,received thelamellar keratectomy+conjunctival Flap+implantation of artificial eye, 4 patients with conjunctival sac stenosis recieved thelamellar keratectomy+conjunctival flap+implanted artificial eye+eyelid suture. Results For stunted children who couldn't wear a prosthetic eye, after treated withlamellar keratectomy + conjunctival flap + artificial eye implantation, the conjunctival sac developed well, cornea was covered with conjunctiva well and no exposure,the appearance and volume of orbit was also improved. ConclusionLamellar keratectomy+conjunctival flap+artificial eye implantsurgery is an effective way to promote orbital and conjunctival sac development of the children with congenital microphthalmos.

Objective To investigate the effect of different doses of ioversol on renal function,and to explore early renal injury biomarkers on contrast induced kidney injury and safe ioversol dosage.Methods A total of 158 cases (98 males and 60 females) undergoing cerebral vascular intervention (CVI) in our department was selected with age ranging from 23 to 81 years old (average age 59.70 ± 12.02).Based on ioversol dosage in surgery,patients were divided into three groups:low dose group (≤ 150 ml,n =49),middle dose group (151-200 ml,n =74),and high dose group (＞200 ml,n =35).U-κ,U-λ,urinary transferrin (UTRF),urine microalbumin (UMA),urinary immunoglobulin IgG (UIgG),urine beta2-microglobulin (Uβ2-MG),Uα1-MG,urinary N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase (UNAG),plasma cystatin C (CysC) and Scr were detected by scattering turbidimetry,immune turbidimetry and fully automatic biochemical analysis pre-surgery 24 h and post-surgery 72 h.Contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) was defined as laboratory increase of Scr value≥44.2 μmol/L or ≥25％ from baseline measurement at 48 hours after surgery.The relationship in ioversol dosage and various factors was assessed by Single and multiple factors binary logistic regression analysis.Results According to the criterion that Scr increase value were ≥44.2 μmol/L,of 158 cases,3 cases occurred CI-AKI,the AKI incidence was 1.90％.Based on the criterion that Scr increase value was ≥25％,33 cases occurred CI-AKI,the incidence was 20.89％.The concentration of U-κ,UTRF,Uα1-MG,UNAG and plasma CysC were significantly different in high dose group compared to low ioversol dose group (P ＜ 0.05),while the other biomarkers had no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions The contrast media-ioversol could lead to CI-AKI;when the dosage of ioversol was more than 200 ml one-time,the concentration of U-κ,UTRF,Uα1-MG,UNAG and plasma CysC increased significantly.U-κ,UTRF,Uα1-MG,UNAG and plasma CysC could predict the early renal injury in patients who undergoing CVI.The rise of U-κ,UTRF,Uα1-MG,UNAG and plasma CysC are related to the dosage of ioversol.Furthermore,possibility of kidney injury is significantly high when ioversol dosage is more than 200 ml one-time.

Objective To improve the recognization of the cavitating lung cancer in CT scans.Methods From May 1996 to June 2000,37 patients out of total 271 primary lung cancers were confirmed by transthoracic needle aspiration biopsy,operation and pathlogical examination.Results There were 5 pattens cavitaties in the CT manifestations.They were 15 cases cavities with thick irregular walls,14 cases round or ovoid growths with central or eccentric cavitation,4 cases solid lobes containing cavities,2 cases thin-walled cavities resembling cysts and 2 cases fissural cavities.There were 24 cases squamous-cell carcinomas,5 cases adenocarcinomas,2 cases small-cell carcinomas,2 cases alveolar-cell carcinomas.Conclusion The cavitating lung cancer is made misdiagnosis easilier.There is important clinical value in diagnosis with transthoracic needle aspiration biopsy(TNAB).

Objective To compare the upper airway changes after H-uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (H-UPPP) combined with transpalatal advancement pharyngoplasty (PA) in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).Methods Eighty-six patients with OSAHS were selected,39 patients were treated with H-UPPP alone (control group),and 47 patients were treated with H-UPPP combined with PA (observation group).The upper airway changes were measured by CT and apnea hypopnea index (AHI) change in the 2 groups were compared before and after operation.Results The surgery effective rate in observation group was 80.9％ (38/47),in control group was 56.4％ (22/39),there was statistical difference (P ＜ 0.05).The AHI depressed value before and after operation in observation group and control group were (40.5 ± 14.6) times/h and (16.7 ± 12.0) times/h respectively,the hard palate length depressed value were (5.5 ± 3.2) mm and (1.6 ± 0.2) mm respectively,the anteroposterior diameter incremental value of hard palate were (3.6 ± 2.3) mm and (-1.6 ± 3.4) mm respectively,the anteroposterior diameter incremental value of palate and pharynx were (1.6 ± 1.2) mm and (-1.2 ± 1.8) mm respectively,the above indexes in observation group were significantly better than those in control group,there were statistical differences (P ＜ 0.05).The minimum diameter incremental value of retropalatal airway in control group was (13.2 ± 3.1) mm,in observation group was (4.9 ± 1.6) mm,there was statistical difference (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion H-UPPP combined with PA offers benefit over H-UPPP alone in patients with OSAHS,which may be achieved by increasing anteroposterior diameter of palate and pharynx.

Objective To investigate the relationship between portal vein pressure and liver regeneration after 90% portal branch ligation in rats.Methods Forty-five male SD rats underwent 90% portal branch ligation (including 5 rats underwent sham operation),and then the changes of portal vein pressure and weight of unligated hepatic lobes were detected.The morphological changes of hepatocytes of the unligated hepatic lobes were observed under a light microscope.Proliferative cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)index was detected by immunohistochemistry,and hepatocyte apoptosis of the unligated hepatic lobes by TUNEL method.All data were analyzed by Pearson rank correlation analysis and t test.Results Thirty-eight out of 40 rats survived(95%).The ligated hepatic lobes diminished progressively,whereas the unligated hepatic lobes regenerated.Preoperative portal vein pressure was(9.1±1.8)cm H_2O(1 cm H_2O=0.098 kPa),and it was increased significantly shortly after the ligation and reached (15.8±2.7)cm H_2O 12 hours later(t=6.847,P＜0.05).The portal vein pressure decreased from(13.6±2.3)cm H_2O at day 1 to(9.3±2.0)cm H_2O at day 28.Preoperative positive PCNA index was 7%±3%,which was significantly lower than 14%±5%at postoperative 12 hours,21%±6%at day 3 and 26%±7%at day 5(t=9.129,P＜0.05),and it began to return to normal at day 5.Few apoptotic hepatoeytes were observed in preoperative liver tissue and unligated hepatic lobes.The expression of PCNA in unligated hepatic lobes and portal vein pressure had apositive correlation at postoperative day 1,3,5(r=0.913,0.896,0.908,P<0.05)and a negative correlation at postoperative day 14(r=-0.926,P<0.05).Conclusions The regeneration of hepatocytes in unligated hepatic lobes is activated after 90% portal branch ligation,and the regenerated liver compensates the weight loss of the ligated hepatic lobes.Liver is regenerated mainly by speeding hepatocyte proliferation rather than reducing hepatocyte apoptosis.Changes of portal vein pressure may play an important role in liver regeneration.

Methods Fourty rats were randomly divided into two groups: ANP model group and contrast group. ANP was induced by retrograde injection of 5% sodium taurocholate into the pancreatic duct. NF-KB activity in the cell nuclear and IkBa activity in the cell spasm of PAC were measured by EMSA and Western-blot. Inflammatory cytokines were measured by ELISA. Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety of Kangai injection combined with Chemotherapy in treating Colorectal cancer. Methods The CNKI, Wanfang, CBM, VIP, Medline and Cochrane Library from inception to the August 17th 2017 were searched, and all the relevant journals, and the literature of RCTs were enrolled. The quality of RCTs was assessed by Jadad scores, meta-analyses were performed by Review Manager 5.3 software. Results 21 Chinese articles were enrolled, including three high quality article, and the Jadad average score is 2.7. 1 879 patients were included. The result of Meta-analyses showed that intervention could improve the quality of life [OR=3.29, 95% CI (2.53-4.27), P＜0.01]; improve the short-term effects [OR=1.79, 95% CI (1.36-2.37),P＜0.001]; reduce the gastrointestinal reactions [OR=0.36,95% CI (0.29-0.45), P＜0.01], reduce bone marrow suppression reaction [OR=0.35, 95% CI (0.27-0.44),P＜0.01]. reduce the peripheral neurotoxicity [OR=0.57, 95% CI (0.41-0.78), P＜0.01], improve the abnormal liver function [OR=0.0.41,95% CI (0.26-0.65), P＜0.01], and improve the abnormal renal function [OR=0.55,95% CI (0.31-0.98), P=0.04]. Conclusions The combination of Kangai injection and Chemotherapy in treating Colorectal cancer is better than only using chemotherapy. However, we need more high-quality RCTs to improve the research.
