Objective To test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the Comprehensive Needs Assessment Tool (CNAT) in cancer patients.Methods We translated the scale following the translation-integrationback translation-expert review procedure,conducted a pilot study among 30 cancer patients.After modifying the scale to adapt to Chinese culture,the reliability and validity of the CNAT scale was tested in a large-scale sample of 300 patients.Results The Chinese version of CNAT had 59 items with a total of seven domains.Principal component analysis resulted in an 8-factor structure explaining 70.325％ of the total variance.The Cronbach's α coefficient for the total CNAT score was 0.952,and 0.824～0.948 for every domain.Test-retest reliability was 0.807 for the overall scale,and 0.790～0.902 for every domain.The split-half for the overall scale was 0.812,and for every domain were 0.732～0.835.Conclusion The Chinese version of CNAT appears to possess adequate validity,testretest reliability and internal consistency.The newly translated Chinese version of CNAT may be used to assess the comprehensive needs of cancer patients in China.

Objective To investigate the nursing needs of patients with depression before coronary artery bypass surgery(CABG), so as to provide the basis for such patients for psychological nursing. Methods The phenomenological research methods of qualitative research were used. Fourteen patients were interviewed with semi structural interview. Colaizzi analytical method was used to process and analyze the data. Results The nursing needs of patients with depression before CABG included six themes: the needs of security; the needs of love and belonging; self-realization demand; the needs of disease related information; the needs of economic support ;the needs of psychological treatment. With different levels of depression and different features, patients`nursing needs were different. Conclusions The patients with depression before CABG have complicated requirements, the medical workers should transform nursing mode and give specific guidance in order to meet the needs of the patients.

Objective To observe the psychological experience of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) during hospitalization.Methods From November 2012 to February 2013,semistructured interviews were conducted in 10 patients with AMI in the Cardiovascular Department of First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology.Grounded theory approach was performed to analyze the collected data.Results The 6 themes and 3 secondary themes during their hospitalization were:helplessness and dependence when AMI was diagnosed fear of immediate death induced by AMI,confusion on various problems such as operation time,excretory after PCI and limited knowledge details,the feel of safety after PCI,the fear of AMI,and the worry about overtreatment.Conclusions Hospitalized AMI patients have complicated psychological responses.Medical staff should provide targeted strategies and timely communication with AMI patients to reduce their psychological burden.

Objective To investigate the psychological experience of patients with depression before coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG).Methods With the phenomenological research method in qualitative research, deep semi-structured interview was conducted to 14 patients, who would be treated with CABG in two Class Ⅲ grade A hospitals in Luoyang, with the data analyzed and summarized by the 7-step analytical method of Colaizzi.ResultsThe psychological experiences of patients with depression before CABG included two themes: negative psychological experience and positive psychological experience.Conclusions Psychological experience of patients with depression before CABG is complicated and fickle. Medical workers should pay attention to both their negative emotions and positive performance.

Objective To observe the effects of continuous rehabilitation exercise on emotion and quality of life after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods From June, 2013 to December, 2014, 95 acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients underwent emergency PCI were divided into intervention group (n=47) and control group (n=48) randomly. The control group accepted routine medicine and rehabilitation exercise for a week, while the intervention group accepted incremental exercise in hospital and rehabilitation exercise intervention after discharged. They were assessed with Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) and WHO Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF) 3 months, 6 months, 12 months after PCI, and the cardiovascular events were recorded. Results The scores of SAS and SDS declined in both groups after PCI (F>27.394, P<0.001), and were less in the intervention group than in the control group (F>2.681, P<0.05). Meanwhile, the physiological, psychological, social relations and environmental scores of WHOQOL-BREF increased in both groups (F>10.394, P<0.001), and the physiological, psychological, social relation scores were more in the intervention group than in the control group (F>2.671, P<0.05), but the environmental score was not significantly different (F<0.568, P>0.05). The incidences of angina pectoris (12.8% vs. 29.2%) and re-infarction (0 vs. 10.4%) were less in the intervention group than in the control group within 12 months after PCI (P<0.05). Conclusion Continuous rehabilitation exercise can improve the long-term emotion and quality of life in patients after emergency PCI, and prevent the cardiovascular events.

Objective To explore the application effects of CDIO mode (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) in obstetrics and gynecology nursing teaching in associate to bachelor degree students. Methods The CDIO mode was conducted in 2014 nursing associate to bachelor degree students in one college, and the 177 cases of six classes were chosen and divided into experimental group (class 1, 4 and 6;n=88) and control groups (class 2,3 and 5;n=89) by random number table. The students in control group used the traditional teaching model, and the students of experimental group used CDIO teaching mode. At the end of the course, the two groups were tested by theoretical knowledge questionnaire and clinical skills questionnaire, critical thinking aptitude test scale and satisfaction questionnaire.Results The theoretical and skill scores of experimental group were (86.7±4.5) and (90.3±5.8) higher than (79.1±7.3) and (84.6±6.4) in control group (t=8.326, 6.207;P<0.01). The difference of the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). Four dimension of critical thinking aptitude test scale including analysis ability, open mind, thirst for knowledge and finding truth in experimental group was higher than that of control group (P<0.05), but no differences between two groups in confidence, cognition mature degree, systematical ability (P>0.05); the satisfaction of experimental group was 94.45% higher than 77.53% of control group (x2=12.132,P<0.01).Conclusions The CDIO teaching model has good application effects in significantly improving students' scores of theory and skills, increasing students' ability of active thinking and innovativeness, as well as students' satisfaction.

Objective: To investigate and summarize the effect of narrative nursing on anxiety and depression in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting, and to provide reference for the formulation of clinical nursing plan. Methods: A total of 61 patients underwent coronary artery bypass grafting were selected. 31 cases of narrative nursing were taken as the research group, and routine nursing was used in the other 30 cases as control group. Depression and anxiety were assessed by Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) and Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) before, 7 days after and 14 days after surgery. Results: Totally 61 patients were successfully operated and no case died during hospitalization. There was no significant difference in SAS and SDS scores between the 2 groups before surgery. The SAS scores in the study group were 57.9±4.2, 50.8±4.9, 47.1±5.0 on the day of admission,7 days after operation and 14 days after operation, respectively, while those in the control group were 58.4±3.7, 57.9±5.2, 55.7±6.2. There were significant differences between the two groups after intervention (t=5.490, 5.973, P<0.01). The SAS score of the study group decreased 7 days after operation and 14 days after operation compared with that of the admission day (t= 6.125, 9.209, P < 0.01). The SDS scores in the study group were 54.3±4.6, 49.4±4.7, 42.7±4.8 on the day of admission,7days after operation and 14 days after operation, respectively, while those in the control group were 54.1±5.1, 52.3±5.6, 51.6±5.2. There were significant differences between the two groups after intervention (t=2.194, 6.949, P<0.01). SDS scores in the study group decreased 7 days after operation and 14 days after operation compared with the day of admission in this group, with significant differences (t=4.148, 9.715, P < 0.01). Conclusions Narrative nursing is helpful to relieve anxiety and depression in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting.

OBJECTIVE To explore the material basis and mechanism of expectorant and cough relief effects of the fruits of Phellodendron chinense var. glabriusulum Schneid. METHODS The expectorant and cough relief effects of volatile oil and water decoction of the fruits of P. chinense var. glabriusulum Schneid. were studied by ammonia water cough induction and drug expectorant model mice experiments； GC-MS and UPLC-MS technologies were used to identify its volatile oils and non-volatile components of the fruits of P. chinense var. glabriusulum Schneid. The active ingredients， core targets and pathways of expectoration and cough relief were analyzed by network pharmacology. RESULTS The volatile oil （0.8， 0.2 g/kg， calculated by volatile oil） and water decoction （12， 3 g/kg， calculated by crude drug） of the fruits of P. chinense var. glabriusulum Schneid. both had obvious expectorant and cough relief effects， and showed obvious dose-dependent relationship. A total of 38 volatile oil components were identified from the medicinal herbs， and the relative percentage contents of 8 components were greater than 1%， such as α -pinene， myrcene， β -caryophyllene， germanene D， isospathulenol； a total of 69 non-volatile oil components were identified， mainly including phenolic compounds， alkaloids， and flavonoids. The active ingredients screened from the identified components included 13 compounds such as α-pinene， myrcene， chlorogenic acid， luteolin， berberine. There were a total of 55 intersection targets with diseases， and the core targets were tumor necrosis factor （TNF）， epidermal growth factor receptor （EGFR）， vascular endothelial growth factor A （VEGFA）， serine/threonine kinase proteins （AKT1） and Toll-like receptor 4 （TLR4）. The molecular docking results showed that the active ingredients and the core targets had good binding ability. GO functional analysis found that the targets were significantly enriched in biological processes such as the reaction affecting lipopolysaccharides， the positive regulation of peptidyl serine phosphorylation， and the positive regulation of the biosynthesis process of nitric oxide. KEGG pathway enrichment analysis found that the targets were significantly enriched in the signaling pathways such as cancer， non-small cell lung cancer， proteoglycans in cancer. CONCLUSIONS Fruits of P. chinense var. glabriusulum Schneid. have obvious expectorant and cough relief effects， and its material basis may be α-pinene， myrcene， chlorogenic acid， luteolin， berberine， etc.， and mainly act on TNF， EGFR， VEGFA， AKT1， TLR4 and its significantly enriched signaling pathway.

OBJECTIVE To establish the quality standard of Clinopodium gracile. METHODS Ten batches of C. gracile were collected to perform appearance and property identification， microscopic identification and thin layer chromatography （TLC） identification. Moisture， total ash， acid-insoluble ash and dilute ethanol extract were detected， and the content of rosmarinic acid was determined by HPLC. RESULTS The stem of C. gracile was slender， square columnar， covered by white fluff， the surface was grayish green or greenish brown； epidermal cells， non-glandular hairs， cortical cells and so on were seen in the cross section of the stem. Non-glandular hairs， ducts， wood fibers， mesophyll cells and so on could be seen in the powder. Results of TLC identification showed that there were spots of the same color in the chromatographic position corresponding to the chromatographic position of buddlejasaponin Ⅳb control. The contents of water， total ash， acid-insoluble ash， dilute ethanol extract and rosmarinic acid in 10 batches of samples were 8.69%-12.33%， 5.96%-13.33%， 0.14%-3.29%， 18.57%-32.61%， 0.35%-0.82%， respectively. The average values were 10.10%， 9.73%， 1.06%， 23.54% and 0.56%， respectively. CONCLUSIONS The established method can be used for quality control of C. gracile. It is preliminarily proposed that the ash content in the herb should not exceed 12.0%， the total ash content should not exceed 12.0%， the acid-insoluble ash content should not exceed 1.5%， the dilute ethanol extract should not be less than 18.0%， and the rosmarinic acid content should not be less than 0.45%.
