Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(43):-
OBJECTIVE:To explore the lessons of plate fixation failure and the experiences of retreatment. METHODS:Computer-based online search of CNKl,CBM,VlP,Wiley,Elsevier,Springer and Kluwer databases were performed with of "plate, failure, breakage" to retrieve literature (1999/2008). RESULTS:The risks of plate fixation failure were hidden in the whole procedure of fracture treatment and rehabilitation course. The integrated evaluation and composite methods should be used in retreatment. CONCLUSION:Strict interal fixation indication, resonable internal/external fixation methods should be emphasized on fracure treatment. Precise principles understanding, perfect operative skills, biological osteosynthesis methods should be emphasized on plate implanting. A step-by-step rehabilitation course and regular follow-up should be emphasized on post-operation. A bone graft plus vascularized periosteal flap transplanting method would greatly increase the bone union rate in retreatment.
2.Investigation of Epileptic Seizures Following Intracerebral Hemorrhage and Its Relative Factors in the Elderly
Journal of Chinese Physician 2002;0(S1):-
Objective To explore the incidence, mechanism and type of attack, relationship between hemorrhage postitions and manifestation, and its prognosis of eplieptic seizure following intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) in the elderly. Methods Clinical materials are analyzed in 47 elder patients with epileptic seizures following ICH.Results The incidence of epileptic seizures following ICH in the elder patients is 9 6% .Early seizures are related to brain edema;most of them were partial seizures. But late seizures were related to the pathologic stimulation of stroke cyst, neuron degeneration, colloid hyperplasia and conglutination.Generalized tonic-chronic seizure plays an important role in it.Most seizures are between 2 weeks and 6 months after hemorrhage. The incidence of epileptic seizure following lobar hemorrhage was higher than others.Late seizures recurs easily if stopping antiepileptic drugs(AED).The disease's prognosis is well if treated regularly and systematically.Conclusiion Epileptic seizures following ICH are not rare in elder patients .Lobar hemorrhgae easy to lead to epileptic seizures.Regular and systimatic treatment is needed in the patients with late manifestation.

Objective To study the apoptosis of peripheral blood lymphocyte cells in patients with HAM/TSP and the roles of Fas, TNF-? and Bcl-2 in occurrence and progression of HAM/TSP.Methods The single cell gel electrophoresis (comet assay) was used to detect the apoptosis of lymphocyte cells in 8 patients with HAM/TSP, 8 cases with other inflammatory neurologic diseases (OIND) and 8 healthy blood donors. The Fas, TNF-? and Bcl-2 protein expressions were quantitatively determined by flow cytometry from 8 cases of HAM/TSP.Results The apoptotic ratio of lymphocyte cells in patients with HAM/TSP significantly increased compared with the controls (P

[ Objective ] To observe the effect of relaxing operation with small needle knife and acupoint injection of Compound Osteotide Injection (COI) for suprascapular nerve compression syndrome (SNCS) . [Methods] Two hundred and twenty cases of SNCS were randomized to three groups: group A ( re = 120) was treated with small needle knife for relaxation and acupoint injection of COI, group B ( n = 50) with small needle knife for relaxation and group C ( re = 50) with acupoint injection of COI. The short-term and long-term effects were compared in the three groups. [Results] Total effective rate was 98.3% in group A, 88.0% in group B and 74.0% in group C ( P

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical effects of Stronger Neo-Minophagen C(SNMC)in the treatment of liver function damage caused by anti-tumor medicine.METHODS:60cases of liver injury caused by anti-tumor medicine were randomly divided into the treatment group(32cases)and the control group(28cases).SNMC injection was given in the treatment group as a supplement to the primary therapy in the control group.RESULTS:The treatment group with SNMC showed significantly greater improvement than the control group in the liver functions(ALT,AST,T.BIL)(P

Objective To investigate the clinical application of mutations drug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) by polymerase chain reaction(PCR)-oligonucleotide probes. Methods 80 cases of MDR-TB were divided into observed group 40 cases and conventional group 40 cases, the resistant gene and the type of mutation were determined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-oligonucleotide probes. Results 78 isolates of 4 kinds of resistance genes (KatG,inhA,rpoB,embB) ,the mutation rates were 90.9% ,84.8% ,51.98% and 58.1% ;the gene of rpoB sensitivi-ty of 98.0% and specificity of 100% ,positive predictive value of 82.61% ,the rate of according with traditional drug susceptibility testing were 62.50% by polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-oligonucleotide probes;the serisitivity of the KatG gene mutation is of 50.56% ,specificity of 75% ,positive predictive value of 68.75% ,the rate of according with traditional drug susceptibility testing were 46.43% by polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-oligonucleotide probes;the observed group in focus significant absorption, absorption, invariability, deterioration were 32.5% ,62.5% ,5.0%, 0% ,higher than the conventional group(25.0% ,50.0% ,20.0% ,5.0% ) (χ2=3.98,χ2=3.92, P<0.05;χ2=6.78,χ2=6.80,P<0.01) ;observed group in 3 months after treatment,6 months,9 months sputum the conversion negative rate in observed group (65.0%, 77.5%, 85.0% ) higher than the conventional group (37.5%, 50.0%, 60.0%) (χ2=3.86,χ2=3.85,χ2=3.89,P both<0.05). Conclusion An analysis available 3 kind of MDR-TB, 4 kind gene by PCR-oligonucleotide;the observed group in curative effect is better than the conventional group in pa-tients with MDR-TB.

Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2011;29(8):765-768
Erythropoietin(EPO) has an anti-apoptotic effect, and promotes the proliferation and differentiation of erythroid progenitor cells. Several studies have indicated that EPO can protect photoreceptor cells from the lightinduced retinal degeneration ;protect retinal neurons from ischemia-reperfusion injury and retinal ganglion cells after acute and chronic ocular hypertension; promote ganglion cell survival and axonal regeneration after optic nerve transaction; attenuate inflammation in multiple sclerosis optic neuritis; reduce the permeability of the retinal barrier and protect retinal neurons in diabetic retinopathy; enhance the stability of hypoxic retinal vessels in retinopathy of prematurity. Herein,we review the distribution of EPO and its receptor in retina, their expression in animal model of retinal diseases, and their effects and mechanisms in protection of retinal neurons and optic nerve.

China Medical Equipment 2015;(9):5-7,8
Objective:To correct the characterizations of MDCT radiation dose by exploring the relationship between CTDIw,∞ and CTDIw.Methods: CTDI100 and CTDI∞ were measured under the conditions of different collimations, pitches and tube voltages of Siemens Definition Flash CT, and CTDIw and CTDIw,∞ were calculated. Results: There were significant differences between CTDIw and CTDIw,∞ which were measured at 0.05 level. And there were no significant differences between CTDIw,∞ after corrected and CTDIw,∞ which were measured at 0.05 level. Conclusion:The characterizations of MDCT which were commonly used were not accurate enough. The result after correction were very closed to the real CTDIw,∞. This showed that the method to correct CTDIw of Siemens Definition Flash CT was mostly accurate. And methods to correct CTDIw of other MDCT needed to be further studied.
