Objective To investigate the clinical effect of enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in detecting hepatitis C antibody. Methods 200 cases of patients with hepatitis C was measured by ELISA, the gold standard method for detection of hepatitis C virus antibody, recording the test results, the data input SPSS software to give the corresponding analysis and conclusions. Results 200 cases of patients with hepatitis C were successfully completed the gold standard method and ELISA method for detection of hepatitis C virus antibody, the analysis showed that positive rate of ELISA method for detection of hepatitis C virus antibody was significantly higher than that of the gold standard method, the positive rate of ELISA was 82.50％, the positive rate of the gold standard method for was 50.00％, results suggested that HCV detection rate of ELISA method is significantly better (P<0.05). Conclusion The method of ELISA can be used for the detection of hepatitis C antibody, which has positive significance in improving the diagnostic accuracy of hepatitis C, and is beneficial to protect the efficacy and quality of life of patients.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and utility of three different assays on early diagnosis and monitoring of neonatal congenital cytomegalovirus infection. Methods Ninety-eight neonates whose mother was CMV-IgM positive during pregnancy were examined on the 14th days after birth for CMV antigen in blood and PCR-CMV-DNA in the saliva. Three different methods were applied including CMV antigenemia assay, PCR for CMV-DNA and ELISA for serum CMV-IgM. Neonates were followed up for six months. Results (1) Forty-eight of the 98 neonates were diagnosed as congenital CMV infection including 7 symptomatic infection and 41 asymptomatic. None of the 98 subjects was CMV-IgM positive. Among the 7 symptomatic cases, the positive rates of CMV antigen and PCR-CMV-DNA were 100%(7), 71.4%(5), and 70.7%(29/41), 46.3%(19/41) in the asymptomatic group, respectively. The sensitivity of CMV antigenemia assay and PCR was 75.0% and 54.2%, respectively. Objective To explore the effects of vaseline gauze combined with brain cotton piece on eye protection during otological surgery . Methods From January to March in 2015 , 80 patients with otological surgery were set as the experiment group , where vaseline gauze and brain cotton piece were used to protect eyes . From October 2014 to December 2014 , another 80 patients with otological surgery were set as the control group , where aureomycin eye ointment was used for eye protection . The two groups were compared in terms of complications incidence . Result The complication incidence of the experiment group was significantly lower than that of control group ( P < 0 . 01 ) . Conclusion Vaseline gauze and brain cotton piece can effectively protect the eyes for patients undergoing otological surgery , lower the occurrence rate of fewer complications and improve patients′comfort .

Objective To summarize the ruptured types and surgical treatment experience for rupture of aortic sinus aneurysm. Methods Nineteen cases with aneurysm of aortic sinus were retrospectively analyzed. There were 10 cases with ventricular septal defect,6 cases with aortic valvular incompetence,6cases with other diseases,2 cases complicated by infective endocarditis. All cases underwent operational treatment. Results There were 15 cases of right aneurysm of aortic sinus,including 12 cases among them ruptured into right ventricle,3 cases rupture was penetrated into right atrium.There were 3 cases of null aneurysm of aortic sinus,including 1 case among them ruptured into right ventricle,2 cases ruptured into right atrium. There was 1 case of left aneurysm of aortic sinus, which ruptured into left ventricle. No operative death occurred in all, 1 case with aortic regurgitation light to moderate,and all cases were recovered.Conclusions The right aneurysm of aortic sinus is the most common types,and always rupture into right ventricle. It is important that aneurysm of aortic sinus should be operated as early as possible in order to avoid losing the chance of operation, particular in the patients complicated by infective endocarditis.

Objective To assess the efficacy of the mixtures of different concentrations of ropivacaine(R) and chloroprocaine(C)for epidural anesthesia in patients undergoing hysterectomy.Methods Sixty ASAⅠorⅡpatients aged 27-56 weighing 45-75 kg undergoing elective hysterectomy were randomly divided into 4 groups(n= 15 each);groupⅠ0.75% R alone;groupⅡ0.5% R-1% C;groupⅢ0.5% R-1.5% C and groupⅣ0.75% R+1% C.The epidural catheter was placed at L_(2,3)interspace and advanced 3.5 cm into the epidural space in cephalad direction.A total of 22 ml of epidural solution was injected in each group.The onset time,block height and duration of sensory block and the onset time,degree and duration of motor block(using Bromage scale)were assessed.The use of supplementary drugs(ketamine and ephedrine)and side effects were recorded.Results The onset time of sensory and motor block was significantly shorter in groupⅡ,ⅢandⅣthan in groupⅠ(0.75% R alone).The duration of sensory and motor block was significantly shorter in groupⅡandⅢthan in groupⅠandⅣ.The incidence of hypotension was significantly increased but the incidence of discomfort produced by traction on the viscera during operation was reduced in groupⅣas compared with groupⅠ.Conclusion The anesthetic efficacy of epidural 0.5% ropivacaine is significantly enhanced when mixed with 1.0% or 1.5% chloroprocaine.

Differential display-PCR was used to clone the differential expressed genes between Mycobacterium tuberculosis virulence strain H37Rv and its avirulent mutant H37Ra. All of different genes were cloned, sequenced and some were analyzed by Northern-blotting. Two cDNAs that appeared to be expressed in H37Rv, but not in H37Ra, were cloned and sequenced. Rv0170, and Rv1894c, code for proteins with unknown functions. The two gene were present in H37Ra, but not expressed. These results show that mRNA DD methodology can represent a potential tool for investigation of M. tuberculosis gene expression.
