125 Wistar rats were divided into five groups randomly. The experimental period was 20 weeks. The results showed that both in the rats drinkcd water containing 6mM Li_2CO_3. and the rats with iodine-deficiency alone, their thyroid gland increased in weight and showed a pattern of hyperplatic goitre; their serum T, dropped which T_3 was increased. These changes were more marked in the rats with iodine deficiency and the activity of thyroid superoxidas strengthened. But in the rats that drinked water containing 6mM Li_2CO_3 there was more colloid in the follicular lumens of the thyroid. Under the condition of iodine deficiency, the rats that drinkcd water containing 3mM and 6mM Li_2CO_3 had larger and heavier thyroid gland, and their serum T_4 dropped which T_3 remained normal. Compared with the rats which had iodine deficiency along, their thyroid glands showed a typical picture of colloid goitrc. In the iodine deficiency rats which drinked water containing 3mM Li_2CO_3 the change of the thyroid gland was even more marked.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma is characterized by high rate of recessive lymph gland metastasis. However, the treatment of early stage of neck lymph gland metastasis still remains large controversial. In this review, we were undertaken to assess the predictability of lymph node metastases by analyzing tumor thickness or depth and imaging. It is suggested that combined with imaging examination, elective neck dissection is a suitable choice for patient with > 4mm of primary tumor filtration.

Objective To explore the efficacy of various retreatment for locally recurrent rectal cancer after radical surgery. Methods Totally 107 patients of locally recurrent rectal cancer, who were admitted from August, 1993 to February, 2002 and retreated, were retrospectively analyzed. Results Thirty-two patients were treated by resection combined with adjuvant therapy (group A), 37 patients underwent resection alone (group B), and 38 patients received adjuvant therapy alone (group C). The medium age of these three groups was 49.3?20.7, 44.4?25.4, 52.9?29.1, respectively. The median survival time of groups A, B, C was 27.8, 14.6, 13.7 months, respectively. Objective To investigate the significance of the expression of interleukin-10(IL-10),interleukin-13(IL-13)and interleukin-15(IL-15)in serums of patients with hepatitis B.Methods The expression of IL-10,IL-13 and IL-15 in serums of 109 patients was measured by ELISA.Results The serum levels of IL-10,IL-13 in patients with moderate degree chronic hepatitis B(CHB)group were significantly higher than that in patients with chronic severe hepatitis group,severe degree CHB group,acute hepatitis group and normal group.The serum level of IL-15 was increased in patients with acute hepatitis、moderate degree CHB group,severe degree CHB group and chronic severe hepatitis compared with normotensives.The proportion of IL-15/IL-10 and IL-15/IL-13 in patients with chronic severe hepatitis group,severe degree CHB group and acute hepatitis group were higher than that in patients with moderate degree CHB group and normotensives.The serum level of IL-15 and the proportion of IL-15/IL-10 and IL-15/IL-13 in dead group were significantly higher than that in improving group with chronic severe hepatitis.Conclusion There is an abnormal cell-mediated immune response in patients with hepatitis B.Combining detection on the levels of serum IL-10,IL-13 and IL-15,and the proportion of IL-15/IL-10 and IL-15/IL-13 would nicely show the cellular active status and be helpful to the prediction of prognosis and direction of therapy in patients with hepatitis B of different kinds of clinical type.

[Objective]To investigate the clinical curative effect and superiority of subtotal corpectomy through the pedicle,titanium rete support and pedicle screws system fixation in the treatment of burst fracture of thoracic vertebrae with paralysis.[Method]Twenty-three patients who suffered from the burst fracture of thoracic vertebrae with paralysis were treated with subtotal corpectomy through pedicle,titanium rete supporting bone autograft and pedicle screws system fixation.[Result]The patients were followed up for 8 months to 2 years.All had their bone grafts fused,and no incision infection,pneumothorax,hemothorax,pulmonary infection,internal fixation loosening or breakage occurred.The mean loss of Cobb's angle was 3.5?.According to Frankel grading,6 of grade A had no obvious recovery.In 5 of grade B,3 improved to C,1 to D,and the last one to E.In 7 of grade C,3 improved to D,4 to E.Five cases of grade D improved to E.[Conclusion]There had relatively less operation wound and good clinical curative effect with subtotal corpectomy through pedicle,titanium rete supporting bone autograft and pedicle screws system fixation.

Objective To observe humoral and cellular immunogenecity of nucleic acid vaccine of hepatitis B core antigen (HBcAg) in rhesus monkeys. Methods Rhesus monkeys of the experimental group and the control group received intramuscular injections of a HBcAg nucleic acid vaccine(pJW4303/HBc) and a control plasmid (pJW4303), respectively. Anti HBc titers, isotypes of anti HBc IgG in sera of the rhesus monkeys pre and post vaccinations, and IFN ? as well as IL 4 levels in the culture supernatant of PBMC isolated from the monkeys were detected by an enzyme linked immunoabsorbent assay. HBcAg specific proliferation activities of PBMC in the monkeys were measured by 3H TdR incorporation assay. Results It was observed in rhesus monkeys of experimental group an obvious anti HBc response after immunization with HBcAg nucleic acid vaccine. The major isotypes of anti HBc IgG was IgG2 and IFN ? was predominant compared with IL 4 in the culture supernatant of rhesus monkeys' PBMC, both indicating Th1 type of immune responses. HBcAg specific proliferation activities of PBMC in the experimental group were significantly stronger than those in the control group. Conclusions The nucleic acid vaccine based on HBcAg shows a good humoral and cellular immunogenecity in rhesus monkeys.

Objective:To explore the correlation between lower gastrointestinal tract symptoms and diabetic retinopathy and lower extremity artery disease in patients with type 2 diabetic mellitus.Methods:The clinical data of 128 patients with type 2 diabetic mellitus from August 2016 to March 2018 in Central Hospital of Shengli OilField were retrospectively analyzed. The general clinical data and laboratory indexes were recorded. The score was evaluated by lower gastrointestinal symptoms rating scale (LGSRS). Patients with the LGSRS score ≥6 scores were as positive group, and those with LGSRS score<6 scores were as negative group. Fundus photography and ultrasonic scanning of lower extremity artery disease were performed for each patient. The correlation between LGSRS score and diabetic retinopathy, lower extremity artery disease was analyzed by Logistic regression.Results:Positive group had 66 cases, and negative group had 62 cases. The age, duration of diabetic, LGSRS score and incidence of diabetic retinopathy in positive group were significantly higher than those in negative group: (64.24 ± 10.43) years vs. (59.57 ± 12.50) years, (14.67 ± 1.28) years vs. (10.98 ± 1.25) years, (8.65 ± 2.38) scores vs. (2.77 ± 1.49) scores and 98.48% (65/66) vs. 69.35% (43/62), and there were statistical differences ( P<0.05 or<0.01). There were no statistical difference in gender, body mass index, glycated hemoglobin, fasting blood glucose, 2 h postprandial blood glucose, triglyceride, total cholesterol and incidence of diabetic retinopathy between 2 groups ( P>0.05). After adjusting for age, duration of diabetic, glycated hemoglobin, fasting blood glucose, triglyceride and total cholesterol, the LGSRS score showed positive correlation with diabetic lower extremity artery disease ( OR = 1.174, 95% CI 1.065 to 1.470, P = 0.001), but there was no correlation between LGSRS score and diabetic retinopathy ( P = 0.313). Conclusions:In patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, lower gastrointestinal tract symptoms has positive correlation with diabetic lower extremity artery disease, and no correlation with diabetic retinopathy. It suggests that there may be a common pathological mechanism between lower gastrointestinal tract symptoms and diabetic lower extremity artery disease.
