China Pharmacist 2014;(11):1830-1832
Objective:To establish the quality standard for Qiyeling granules. Methods:Astragali Radix and naringin were identi-fied by TLC. The content of astragaloside A was determined by HPLC. Results:The qualitative identification was with high resolution and without interference from the negative substances. The linear range of astragaloside A was 0. 166-1. 104 μg(r=0. 999 1), and the average recovery was 97. 27%(RSD=1. 3%,n=6). Conclusion:The method can be used in the quality control of Qiyeling granules.

Journal of Clinical Neurology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To study the clinical and electrophysiological characteristics of peripheral neuropathy in patients with multiple sclerosis(MS).Methods As a total of 84 MS patients, the clinical and electrophysiological data were analyzed in 16 MS patients with the symptoms of peripheral neuropathy(PNMS group)and in 68 MS patients without peripheral neuropathy(NPNMS group). Results The incidence of peripheral neuropathy was 19.0%(16/84)in this group. The clinical symptoms included extremity numbness in 14 cases(87.5%),limb inertia in 12 cases(75.0%),and radicular pain in 4 cases(25.0%).Signs included decrease of tendon reflex in 15 cases(93.7%),periphery sensory disability in 13 cases(81.2%),and myatrophy in 5 cases(31.2%).The mean age in the PNMS group was(44.6?12.5)years vs.(32.2?11.5)years in the NPNMS group. The course of disease was(39.3?18.3)months vs.(31.6?17.2)months in the NPNMS group, there were significant differences in two groups(P

As a member of nuclear receptor superfamily, farnesoid X receptor (FXR) has been shown to regulate numerous metabolic pathways, which include playing an important role in bile acid metabolism, maintaining lipid and glucose homeostasis when FXR is activated. With the prevalence of the glucose and lipids disorder, FXR attracts increasing attention. It may be a potential target for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus and lipid disorders.

Objective To evaluate reliability of the cloned homogeneous immunoassay technique for detection of P53 protein content in serum and stool from patients with gastric carcinoma. Methods To prepare EA, ED and ED P53 fusion protein of beta galactosidase by PGEX 4T 2 expression vector, a novel cloned homegeneous immunoassay was establishment for detection of P53 protein in serum and stool samples from patients with gastric carcinoma and non gastric carcinoma groups as well as healthy control. Results The concentration of P53 protein in 31 gastric carcinoma subjects were remarkably increased as compared with 56 non gastric carcinoma ( P

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(01):-
Heme was extracted from fresh pig blood and made into powder in black coffee color. The product contained about 1.2%-1.8% iron and was added into food to raise its iron content.Three experiments were performed on young mice, piglets and anemic children. After feeding this product, their hemoglobin was all raised significantly (P

Objective To evaluate the performance of polymerase chain reaction (PCR)‐based rapid detection of methicillin‐resistant S .aureus (MRSA) from the respiratory specimens of ICU patients in comparison with conventional sputum culture . Methods We collected 3 respiratory specimens from each patient simultaneously for bacterial culture ,fungal culture and PCR‐based detection of MRSA .The performance of the established PCR method was compared with the results of sputum culture in terms of sensitivity ,specificity ,positive predictive value (PPV) and negative predictive value (NPV) .Results The sensitivity , specificity ,PPV and NPV of PCR assay were 88 .9% ,73 .6% ,36 .4% ,and 97 .5% ,respectively ,which were lower than the reported results of PCR assay with nasal swabs .Conclusions The utility of PCR assay for active screening of MRSA from respiratory specimens still needs further supportive data .However ,PCR assay is somewhat informative in excluding MRSA infection or colonization because of its high NPV .

Journal of Practical Radiology 1996;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the diagnostic values of diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)in early radiation-induced brain injury of the temporal lobes. Methods Conventional and MR diffusion tensor imaging examinations were performed in 23 patients following radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)and in 28 age-matched healthy controls.Isotropic apparent diffusion coefficient(ADCiso)and anisotropic index were measured in the white matter on both of the temporal lobes. Results The value of ADCiso, fractional anisotropy(FA),relative anisotropy(RA)and 1 minus volume ratio(1-VR)were(644.08?56.80)?10-6 mm2/s,0.394?0.074,0.344?0.075 and 0.182?0.072 respectively. In comparison with control group, these values were significant decreased(P

China Biotechnology 2006;0(02):-
The fused gene (PTH-HSA) of parathyroid hormone (PTH) gene and Human Serum Albumin(HSA) gene was amplified without linker by Overlapping PCR technology. The spliced gene was clone into Pichia pastoris secretory vector pPIC9K. With the help of promoter AOX1 and mat ? signal peptide, the PTH-HSA gene was designed to secretory expression.Linearized by restriction enzyme SalI, The recombinant plasmid pPIC9K/PTH-HSA was transformed into Pichia pastoris KM71 by electroporation. The recombinant strains which were identified by G418 and PCR analysis were induced by methanol to express protein PTH-HSA. The target protein was expressed in fermentation supernatant. Western blot analysis of the fusion protein showed that the expressed fusion protein PTH-HSA had the antigenicity of HSA.adenylate cyclase assay proved that the fused protein exhibited the bioactivity to stimulate cAMP synthesis The specific activity of broth was about 318IU/ml.
