1.Impact of different blood glucose levels in gestational diabetes mellitus on maternal and neonatal outcomes
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1987;0(01):-
Objective:To evaluate the impact of different glucose levels in women with gestational diabetes mellitus on maternal and neonatal outcomes. Methods:Data of 65 pregnant women with GDM admitted in our hospital from January 2001 to October 2006 were reviewed.A total of 46 GDM women had blood glucose levels under control before delivery and the rest 19 GDM women did not.The impact of different glucose levels on maternal and neonatal outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results:In the group with the glucose level uncontrolled, the incidence of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy, premature rupture of membrane, hydramnios, postpartum hemorrhage, premature infant, neonatal asphyxia, fetal macrosomia, and therapy after 34 weeks pregnancy were 42.11%,26.32%,31.58%,21.05%,47.37%,15.79%,36.84%,and 57.89%,respectively.compared with those of the group with glucose level controlled as 15.22%,4.35%,6.52%,2.17%,17.39%,0.00%,10.87%,and 28.26%,respectively.All the rates of the uncontrolled group were markedly higher than those of the controlled group. Conclusion:Gestational diabetes mellitus does great harm to mother and infant.Diagnosing GDM and controlling blood glucose as early as possible can decrease the complications of mother and infant.

3.Application of gabapentin in the treatment of neuropathic pain
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2015;23(11):859-862
As an anti-epilepsy drug, gabapentin plays an important role in the treatment of neuropathic pain through a variety of central and peripheral mechanisms.Studies have shown that gabapentin has better efficacy for post-stroke pain, spinal cord injury-related pain, postherpetic neuralgia, and pain in diabetic peripheral neuropathy. For mild adverse effects, good tolerance and lack of interactions, gabapentin is an ideal drug for the treatment of neuropathic pain.
5.Clinical characteristics of 96 patients with advanced schistosomiasis in Yingcheng City
Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2016;28(4):470-471
Objective To understand the clinical characteristics of patients with advanced schistosomiasis in Yingcheng City,so as to provide evidences for the assistance work of advanced schistosomiasis. Methods The clinical data of all the ad?vanced schistosomiasis patients in Yingcheng City were collected and analyzed. Results Up to December 30,2014,there were 96 advanced schistosomiasis patients in Yingcheng City, among which,68 cases(70.8%)were male,28 cases(29.2%) were female, and their average age was 64.2 years. Most of the patients(90.6%)were ascitic type, followed by splenomegaly type(5.2%),colon proliferation type(2.1%),and dwarf type(2.1%). Totally 48 cases(50.0%)were positive in immunologi?cal detections, among which 8 cases(8.3%)were positive in ELISA and 12 cases(12.5%)were positive in IHA. For all the 4 indexes of hepatic fibrosis(HA,LN,CIV and PCⅢ),only 15 cases(15.6%)were normal. Conclusions Though Yingcheng City has reached the criteria of transmission control, the hepatic fibrosis of some patients continues to progress. Therefore, the intensity of the treatment and assistance could not be weakened, especially for those of the ascitic type patients.
6.Effects of Kinesio Taping on Spasticity of Upper Limbs after Stroke
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2016;22(9):1045-1048
Objective To observe the effects of Kinesio taping on upper limb spasticity after stroke. Methods From March to Novem-ber, 2015, 39 stroke patients were divided into Kinesio taping group (Kinesio taping and rehabilitation, n=13), white taping group (white tap-ing and rehabilitation, n=13) and blank group (rehabilitation, n=13) randomly. They were evaluated with modified Ashworth Scale (MAS), Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) of upper limbs and the modified Barthel Index (MBI) before treatment, four and eight weeks after treat-ment. Results There was no significant difference among the three groups in the scores of FMA and MBI (P>0.05) four weeks after treat-ment, but the score of MAS improved more in the Kinesio taping group than in the other two groups (P<0.05). The scores of MAS, FMA and MBI all improved more in the Kinesio taping group than in the other two groups (P<0.05) eight weeks after treatment. Conclusion The application of Kinesio taping can relieve upper limb spasticity, and improve motor function and activities of daily living for patients with stroke.
7.Advancements on therapy of gastroesophageal reflux cough
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2014;(12):1328-1331
Gastroesophageal reflux cough (GERC) is a special type of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and one of the common causes of chronic cough .The therapies of GERC include general treatment , medication and surgery .At present antireflux medicine is the major therapy to GERC .A lot of new kinds of medicine have being developed and applied in addition to antacid and gastric motility improver .The short-term and long-term effects of antireflux surgery have nott been confirmed due to the lack of reliable prospective randomized controlled studies .The advancements on therapy of GERC are reviewed in this paper .
8.Blood pressure variability in the acute ischemic stroke:predictive value and intervention target
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2015;23(12):907-911
Patients w ith acute ischemic stroke often have increased blood pressure and cause sharp fluctuations in blood pressure. Analysis of blood pressure variability can quantize the degree of blood pressure fluctuations w ithin a certain period of time and provide reliable predictive information for the outcomes of ischemic stroke. While reducing the average value of blood pressure, decreasing the blood pressure variability can make the patients obtain greater benefits. This article review s the possibility of blood pressure variability in patients w ith acute ischemic stroke for its predictive value and the blood pressure variability as an intervention target.
9.Heart rate variability in ischemic stroke: evaluation method and clinical significance
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2015;23(10):781-784
Autonomic nerve dysfunction is common after onset of ischemic stroke.Heart rate variability (HRV) has been used widely because of the regulation effect of heart rate by the quantitative analysis of the autonomic nervous system. This article reviews the evaluation method of HRV and its clinical significance in ischemic stroke.
