Objective To study the quality standard of Gegenbao Soft Capsule.Methods The qualitative identification of puerarin and daidzein was carried out by TLC,and the contents of puerarin and daidzein were determined by HPLC.Results Puerarin and daidzein could be identified by TLC with high specificity.The linearity was from 0.214 to 1.42 ? g for puerarin and from 0.033 to 0.221 ? g for daidzein by HPLC,and the average recovery was 101.5 % for puerarin and 96.6 % for daidzein with RSD 1.6 % and 1.8 % respectively(n=6).Conclusion This method is simple,accurate and reliable for the quality control of Gegenbao Soft Capsule.

Objective: Pemetrexed (PEM) is a multi-targeted chemotherapeutic agent for antifolate drugs. PEM has become the standard agent for the second-line treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This study aims to review and analyze the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of PEM combined with carboplatin with respect to NSCLC treatment. Methods: A total of 40 patients suffering from NSCLC were selected and confirmed by pathology. On the first day of treatment, the conventional 500 mg/m2 dose of pemetrexed disodium was infused intravenously. On the second day, a combined therapy with carboplatin was conducted based on the conventional dose for a 21-day cycle with at least two cycles for each patient. The therapeutic efficacy and adverse reactions were evaluated and were compared with the proposed regimen of gemcitabine (GEM) combined with carboplatin. Results: After two cycles of the treatment, the curative effects of the PEM and GEM groups were 50% and 45%, respectively. The main adverse reactions are bone marrow suppression and gastrointestinal reactions. The incidence rates of bone marrow suppression, gastrointestinal reactions, amisulpride/AST, urea nitrogen, rash, and hair loss were obviously lower in the PEM group than in the GEM group. Statistically significant differences in adverse reaction were found between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: The use of the combination regimen of PEM with carboplatin showed significantly more clinical effects and less adverse reactions for NSCLC treatment.

Objective To investigate the effect of dexamethasone with subdose ketamine on restraining the pulling-dragging reflex during appendectomy. Methods 114 ASA grade Ⅰ～Ⅱpatients of appendectomy undergoing T 11 ～L 1 epidural anesthesia were randomly divided three groups,each group containing 38 cases. Group Ⅰ recieved the dexamethasone 10mg and ketamine 0 5mg/kg by venous injection before opening abdominal cavity, groupⅡ received pethidine 50mg and droperidol 2 5mg before begining operation, and group Ⅲ without any drugs served as control. Objective To expolre the clinical effects of quickening blood and beautifying skin decoction on 20-50-year-old females with physical constitution of qi-stagnation and blood stasis.Methods According to the 2010 enactment of the Chinese Medical Association's Classification and Assessment of Chinese Constitution the standard identification of the physical object and physical scale iden tification,55 cases of 20 50 years old of Qi-stagnation and blood-stasis constitutions were collected and quickening blood and beautifying skin decoction treatment was given.25 g of the decoction were administrated each time,2 times a day,for 2 months.After that,the identification of physical constitution fitness was conducted,to find if this kind of beauty-keeping decoction could improves women's physical constitutions and some beauty-harm related physical symptoms.Results After taking the herbal decoction before and after treatment,the quality of Qi-stangnation and blood-stasis constitutions and factor of the beauty-harmful relevant symptoms were statistically significant differences (P＜0.005).The total score of Qi-stangnation and blood-stasis constitutions and beauty-harm relevant symptoms showed that the total effective rate reached 61.82％.Conclusions The result indicates this quickening blood and beautifying skin decoction has a certain effect in improving the quality of qistangnation and blood-stasis situation and treating the beauty-harm relevant symptoms.The traditional Chinese medicine decoction has a certain effect on improving physical constitution which is abnormal.

Objective To compare the effects of different anesthetic and postoperative analgesic methods on the immune function of helper T lymphocytes and tumor metastasis after orthotopic liver cancer resection in rats.Methods Orthotopic liver cancer was induced by intrahepatic tumor implantation (IHTI) with Morris hepatoma 3924A.Thirty male ACI rats receiving IHTI,aged 12-18 weeks,weighing 240-300 g,were randomized into 3 groups (n =10 each) using a random number table:control group (group C),general anesthesia combined with epidural block-postoperative epidural analgesia group (group GE + EA),and general anesthesia-postoperative intravenous analgesia group (group G + IA).The liver cancer resection was performed on 14th day after IHTI,group G + IA inhaled 5％ sevoflurane for induction of anesthesia and inhaled 2％-3％ sevoflurane and received intraperitoneal injection of morphine 20 μg/100 g for maintenance of anesthesia.In group GE + EA,general anesthesia was performed as the method previously described in group G + IA,and epidural block was performed with 0.25 ％ bupivacaine 25 μl after tracheal intubation.Within 3 days after operation,0.125 ％ bupivacaine 150 μl + morphine 20 μg were injected daily via an epidural catheter once every 4 h (25μl per time) for postoperative analgesia in group GE + EA,and postoperative analgesia was performed with intraperitoneal morphine 240 μg injected daily once every 4 h (40 μg per time) in group G+ IA.Before surgery (T1) and on 2nd,7th and 30th days after sugery (T2-4),blood samples were collected to detect the levels of plasma interferon-γ (IFN-γ),interleukin-4 (IL-4),IL-17,IL-10 and tumor growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1).IFN-γ/IL-4 ratio was calculated.The rats were sacrificed after collecting blood samples at T4,and the development of abdominal lymph node metastasis,malignant ascites,implantation metastasis to abdominal wall and visible pulmonary metastasis nodules were observed.Results Compared with C group,the incidence of pulmonary metastasis,abdominal lymph node metastasis,and malignant ascites was significantly decreased,the plasma IFN-γ and IL-17 levels at T2 and IL-4 and TGF-β at T2,3 were increased,and IFN-γ/IL-4 ratio was decreased at T2,3 in group G+ IA,and the incidence of pulmonary metastasis,abdominal lymph node metastasis,malignant ascites and implantation metastasis to abdominal wall was significantly decreased,the plasma levels of IFN-γ,IL-4,IL-17,IL-10 and TGF-β1 were increased at T2(P ＜ 0.05),and no significant change was found in IFN-γ/IL-4 ratio in GE + EA group (P ＞ 0.05).Compared with G + IA group,the incidence of pulmonary metastasis and abdominal lymph node metastasis was significantly decreased,the plasma levels of IFN-γ and IL-17 at T2 and IL-4 and IL-10 at T3 were decreased,the plasma levels of IFN-γ at T4 and TGF-β1 at T2 and IFN-γ/IL-4 ratio at T3,4 were increased in GE + EA group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The inhibitory degree of the immune function of helper T lymphocytes is decreased and development of tumor metastasis is reduced after orthotopic liver cancer resection in rats when general anesthesia combined with epidural block-postoperative epidural analgesia is applied as compared with those when general anesthesia-postoperative intravenous analgesia is applied.

Objective The purpose of present study was to compare the efficacy of topical dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO),intralesional hyaluronidase(HAase)and intralesional HAase plus topical DMSO on skin damage caused by docetaxel extravasation in a rat model.Methods After the establishment of animal model of docetaxel extravasation on each hind limb in 30 SD rats,the animals were assigned randomly into 6 groups with 5 rats for each group:topical DMSO group(TD),intralesional HAase group(IH),IH plus TD group(IH+TD),topical normal saline group(tNS),intralesional NS group(iNS),and control group(C).The extent of skin damage and the healing time were observed and compared.Results The extent of skin damage was different among the 6 groups:severer skin damage was seen in tNS,iNS and C groups compared with TD,IH and IH+TD groups.The healing time was significantly shorter in TD group than in both tNS and C groups [(19.10?2.13)d vs(23.70?2.41)d and(25.70?2.26)d,P
