2.Re-irradiation of locally recurrent soft tissue sarcoma
Journal of International Oncology 2013;40(8):618-621
The incidence of local recurrence after wide local excision and radiation of soft tissue sarcoma (STS) ranges from 5% to 20%.The optimal management of locally recurrent STS must be individualized.Approaches for retreatment include wide local re-excision followed by a variety of radiation which include external-beam radiation, brachytherapy and intraoperative electron radiotherapy.Following retreatment, the likelihood of ultimate local control ranges from 37% to 100%.However,each radiation technique could produce severe side effects, and so for selected patients, repeat irradiation may be unnecessary.

Results 5 yeats treated 310 eases with AECOPD,impaired consciousness occurred in 16. 8% (52/310) : 29cases of pulmonary encephalopathy, hypotonic encephalopathy 12 cases ,5 cases of cerebral infarctinn,4 cases of drug-induced;clinical symptoms often show a variety, may be characteristic, but the cause of death by up to 55.6% of the total number of deaths(10/18). Conclusion AECOPD had high incidence of disturbance of eonseiousneas, and it isdiflleult to avoid completely;should pay attention to identify, first perform head CT or MR/examination to exclude or-ganic brain disease, according to arterial blood gas analysis, bloed electrolyte,to further determine the cause.
4.Application of improved shape-based interpolation algorithm in substantia nigra slices of rhesus monkeys
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2010;14(9):1525-1530
BACKGROUND:Studies have shown that pathological change of substantia nigra (SN) is the main reason for Parkinson's disease (PD).From the medical imaging, spatial location, size and 3D morphology analysis of the tiny SN structure are very important to PD's diagnosis and treatment evaluation. As the physiology of rhesus monkey is much similar to human's,it has been used as an ideal experiment subject in many scientific researches.OBJECTIVE:To modify traditional shape-based interpolation method for SN structure of the rhesus monkey brain slices.METHODS:To gain the middle layers between two slices, traditional shape-based interpolation used linear weighted mean algorithm. However, considering the impact of adjacent multi-layer to the image, the middle layers were obtained by non-linear weight.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The new interpolation algorithm was assessed with a favorable results. Also, this method was applied to the 3D reconstruction of SN structure. The results show that the new interpolation method can be used in nucleus group interpolation with sparse slices and tiny structures, and offer reference to the related disease research.
5.Clinical controlled trial on chronic nephritis albuminuria treated with acupuncture and moxibustion at DONG's extra points, "Xiasanhuana".
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(4):335-338
OBJECTIVEIo compare the difference on the clinical efficacy in treatment of chronic nephritis albuminuria between acupuncture and moxibustion at "Xiasanhuang", DONG's extra points and benazepril hydrochloride so as to provide the effective therapeutic method for the treatment of chronic nephritis albuminuria. Methods One hundred and six cases of nephritis albuminuria were randomized into an acupuncture and moxibustion group and a western medication group, 53 cases in each one. In the acupuncture and moxibustion group, acupuncture and moxibustion were applied to "Xiasanhuang" (Tianhuang fuxue namely "shenguan", "Dihuang", "Renhuang"), once a day, the interval of 2 days once every 10 treatments. In the western medication group, benazepril hydrochloride was prescribed for oral administration, 5 to 10 mg each time, once a day. The treatment of 2 months made, one session in the two groups. After 1 session treatment, the clinical efficacy, red blood cell count (RBC) of urinary sediment, 24 h urine protein quantitation and creatinine clearance rate (Ccr) before and after treatment were observed in the two groups.
RESULTSThe total effective rate was 84. 9% (45/53) in the acupuncture and moxibustion group, superior to 52. 8% (28/53) in the western medication group (P<0. 01). After treatment, RBC of urinary sediment and 24 h urine protein quantitation were reduced as compared with those before treatment (P< 0. 01, P<0. 05), and the results in the acupuncture and moxibustion group were lower than those in the western medication group (P<0. 05, P<0. 01). After treatment, Ccr in the acupuncture and moxibustion group was higher than that before treatment (P<0. 05) and higher than that in the western medication group (P<0. 05). Ccr was not different significantly before and after treatment in the western medication group (P>0. 05).
CONCLUSIONAcupuncture and moxibustion at DONG's extra points (Xiasanhuang) reduce proteinuria and improve kidney, function in patients of chronic nephritis and the efficacy is better than that with benazepril hydrochloride.

7.PLOD2 is involved in human skin fibrosis
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2010;30(2):159-164
Objective To discuss the relationship between the expression of PLOD2 and the formation of collagen I in the scar. Methods To detect the mRNA expression of PLOD2 and COLIα1 in the scar and normal skin tis-sue, as well as the content of COLIα1 by RT-PCR and Western blot; design and synthesize three kinds of PL0D2 ASODN targeted at the translational initiation, the joint of the first and the second exons and termination codon re-spectively , transfected into NIH/3T3 mouse fibroblast cell and detect the mRNA expression of COLIα1 and forma-tion of collagen I by RT-PCR and Western blot. Results The expression of PLOD2 in the scar tissue was signifi-cantly higher than that in the normal tissue ( P < 0. 05 ) , three kinds of ASODNs showed inhibitory effects on the mRNA expression of COLIα1 and formation of collagen I in fibroblast (P <0. 05) , during which the repressive ef-ficiency of ASODN targeted against the translational initiation was the highest (P <0. 001) ; while the mRNA ex-pression level of COLIα1 did not change in the scar tissue, normal tissue and the groups treated with three kinds of ASODN. Conclusion The high expression of PLOD2 is tightly related to the formation of collagen I , PLOD2 ASODN can suppress the formation of collagen I post-transcriptionally.
