Objective To establish the high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) fingerprint of wuzi yanzong pills. Methods HPLC was performed on Agilent Extend C18 column (250 mmí4. 6 mm,5 μm) with a gradient elution system using acetonitrile:methanol (101)-0. 4% phosphoric acid as the mobile phase. The column temperature was set at 30 ℃ and the flow rate was 1. 0 mL·min-1 . The eluate was detected at the wavelength of 254 nm. Chromatographic peaks were identified by LC-MS method. Results Nine common peaks in wuzi yanzong pill samples were identified by comparing their LC-MS data with those of reference compounds and related reference reports. The HPLC fingerprint of wuzi yanzong pills was finally developed based on the analysis of sixteen batches of samples and their similarities were above 0. 93. Conclusion This method has high precision, stability and repeatability. This study could be used for overall quality assessment of wuzi yanzong pills.

ObjectiveTo explore the convenient and effective therapeutic methods for acute lumbar strain on the basis of classification and mechanism of acute lumbar strain.MethodsAcute lumbar strain was classified into post-lumbar joint disturbance type, post-lumbar joint embedded type, muscular strangulated type, muscular strain, sacroiliac joint malposition and mixed type. The repulsion reposition, orthodromic allocation, repulsion ilium and moving leg combioned with high electric frequence were chosen according to the patients' age and somatic condition.ResultsAfter 1-3 times curing, the symptom and appearance of the patients were obviously improved, even more recovery. In these 100 cases,52 patients were cured,39 patients were obviously improved, 9 patients were better than before, the rate of obvious effect was 91%.ConclusionsManipulation combined with high electrical frequence is a convenient, safe and effective method for acute lumbar strain.

Background and objectives:Hepatic steatosis and inflammation are key characteristics of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).However, whether and how hepatic steatosis and liver inflammation are differentially regulated remains to be elucidated.Considering that disruption of 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase/fructose-2,6-biphosphatase 3(Pfkfb3/iPfk2)dissociates fat deposition and inflammation, the present study examined a role for Pfkfb3/iPfk2 in hematopoietic cells in regulating hepatic steatosis and inflammation in mice. Methods:Pfkfb3-disrupted(Pfkfb3+-)mice and wild-type(WT)littermates were fed a high-fat diet(HFD)and examined for NAFLD phenotype. Also, bone marrow cells isolated from Pfkfb3+/-mice and WT mice were differentiated into macrophages for analysis of macrophage activation status and for bone marrow transplantation(BMT)to generate chimeric(WT/BMT-Pfkfb3+/-)mice in which Pfkfb3 was disrupted only in hematopoietic cells and control chimeric(WT/BMT-WT)mice.The latter were also fed an HFD and examined for NAFLD phenotype. In vitro, hepatocytes were co-cultured with bone marrow-derived macrophages and examined for hepatocyte fat deposition and proinflammatory responses. Results:After the feeding period,HFD-fed Pfkfb3+/-mice displayed increased severity of liver inflam-mation in the absence of hepatic steatosis compared with HFD-fed WT mice. When inflammatory activation was analyzed,Pfkfb3+/-macrophages revealed increased proinflammatory activation and decreased anti-proinflammatory activation. When NAFLD phenotype was analyzed in the chimeric mice,WT/BMT-Pfkfb3+/-mice displayed increases in the severity of HFD-induced hepatic steatosis and inflammation compared with WT/BMT-WT mice.At the cellular level, hepatocytes co-cultured with Pfkfb3+/-macrophages revealed increased fat deposition and proinflammatory responses compared with hepatocytes co-cultured with WT macrophages. Conclusions:Pfkfb3 disruption only in hematopoietic cells exacerbates HFD-induced hepatic steatosis and inflammation whereas the Pfkfb3/iPfk2 in nonhematopoietic cells appeared to be needed for HFD feeding to induce hepatic steatosis. As such, the Pfkfb3/iPfk2 plays a unique role in regulating NAFLD pathophysiology.

Objective To understand and assess the quality status of national drug sampling inspection in 2022 and the possible risks of drug quality. Methods With the aim of identifying issues and preventing risks,a sampling model of"dispersed sampling, centralized inspection, exploratory research, and comprehensive evaluation"was used to review the historical inspection data of national drug sampling. The overall quality and potential risks of national drug sampling in 2022 were analyzed, with a focus on identifying and examining the main quality problems and risks. Results The average pass rate of the sampling inspection in 2022 was 99.4% .The overall safety situation of China's post-marketing drug quality is stable and manageable, indicating that the drug quality is at a high level. Conclusions By carrying out exploratory studies related to drug safety, authenticity, and efficacy, national sampling plays an important role in comprehensively evaluating the quality status of drugs. It aids in improving the quality control level of drug varieties and industry standards, strengthening quality and safety supervision, combating illegal practices such as adulteration and falsification, and providing public warnings about drug safety.

OBJECTIVE To explore the research status of drug control institutions and to analyze the research hotspots and frontier trends, so as to provide references for further research.METHODS Taking CNKI as the data source of Chinese literature, Web of Science Core Collection as the data source of English literature. Using CiteSpace 6.1.R6 visualization tool software, visualization analysis was conducted to the research status of drug control institutions in China from the aspects of author-institution cooperation, keyword co-occurrence, keyword cluster and burst analysis. Meanwhile, draw the relevant maps to do the compare.RESULTS A total of 3 711 Chinese literatures and 2 650 English literatures were included. The number of literatures issued by Chinese drug control institutions showed a rising trend. Ma Shuangcheng was the most prolific author, and National Institutes for Food and Drug Control was the most prolific research institution. Current research hotspots included content determination, fingerprinting, identification evaluation, dissolution mechanism and related substances combining specific drugs, as well as biotechnology, nanomaterials and toxicological substitution technologies. Frontier research trends mainly included drug quality research integrating advanced analytical technology and measurement methods, detection technology of frontier biological products, and continuous research on antibacterial active substances. CONCLUSION Researchers and institutions should grasp hotspots and trends, work at deepen cooperation and research, and provide intellectual support for improving ability of drug inspection and promoting the modernization of drug supervision.

With the progression of liver cirrhosis, patients often develop sarcopenia and lipid metabolism disorders, and the complex interaction between p sarcopenia and lipid metabolism disorders not only promotes the progression of liver cirrhosis, but also affects the prognosis and quality of life of patients. As an effective intervention for alleviating complications associated with liver cirrhosis, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) can improve sarcopenia to a certain degree by improving hepatic hemodynamics and reducing portal venous pressure. In addition, there might be varying degrees of changes in blood lipid levels after TIPS, which may be closely associated with the recovery of liver metabolic function and the alterations in hemodynamics. This article introduces the association between liver cirrhosis, sarcopenia, and lipid metabolism disorders, elaborates on the effect of TIPS on sarcopenia and abnormal lipid metabolism, and discusses related mechanism and clinical significance, in order to provide a theoretical basis for clinical treatment.
