China Pharmacist 2015;(2):280-283
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of amisulpride and risperidone in the treatment of schizophrenia. Meth-ods:The RCTs literatures on amisulpride and risperidone in the treatment of schizophrenia were retrieved and screened, and the quali-fied ones were analyzed by meta-analysis. Results:A total of 10 literatures were included involving 802 patients. Meta-analysis results showed that the difference between the two groups after the treatment was not statistically significant by comparing the clinical efficien-cy, PANSS score and TESS score. About the incidence of adverse reactions, amisulpride was better than risperidone in the endocrine function, extrapyramidal symptoms, weight gain and cardiovascular system. The incidence of nausea and vomiting of amisulpride was more than that of risperidone. There was no statistical significance in insomnia, headache, dizziness and the others. Conclusion:Ex-isting literature analysis shows that amisulpride is safe and effective in the treatment of schizophrenia.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2015;31(5):468-470
Diabetic nephropapthy (DN) is a common cause of end-stage renal disease.Early diagnosis and treatment are significant for delaying the development of DN.Smad proteins mediate transforming growth factor β superfamily intracellular signal transduction.Recent studies have found that Smad1 protein plays an important role in the process of renal fibrosis.Urine Smad1 emerges in the early stage of DN,which is expected to be a non-invasive indicator in early diagnosis of DN.

Chinese Journal of Nephrology 2014;30(10):739-743
Objective To study the correlation of serum hepcidin with residual renal function and micro-inflammation state in continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) patients. Methods Thirty-four stable CADP patients were involved in this study as observers (CAPD group),who had accepted CAPD treatment more than three months; twenty non-dialysis patients with stage 5 of chronic kidney disease were selected as control group.According to the level of high sensitivity Creactive protein (hs-CRP),CAPD patients were divided into two subgroups. There were 14 patients in the hsCRP elevated group (hs-CRP > 3.00 mg/L) and 20 patients in the hs-CRP normal group. In addition, there had been 14 patients with residual renal function in CAPD group.Serum hepcidin was measured by ELISA.Serum Ferritin (FER),hs-CRP,routine blood and biochemistry were measured by routine methods.Calculated estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR).Pearson correlation and linear regression were used to assess the correlation of serum hepcidin with other laboratory parameters in CAPD patients. Results (1) Serum hepcidin was significantly higher in CAPD patients than control group, but eGFR was significantly lower (P < 0.01).(2) Serum hepcidin levels of no residual renal function patients increased more significantly in CAPD group (P < 0.05).(3) Serum hepcidin levels were higher in hs-CRP elevated group than hs-CRP normal group (P < 0.05).(4) Pearson correlation analyses revealed that serum hepcidin was positively correlated with hs-CRP (r=0.501) and FER (r=0.847,all P < 0.01),and was negatively correlated with Hb (r=-0.919),TRF (r=-0.751),TIBC (r=-0.532,all P < 0.05).(5) Multiple linear regression analysis showed that ferritin and hs-CRP were closely associated with serum hepcidin level in CAPD.Conclusions Serum hepcidin level markedly elevate in CAPD patients, especially in the patients with no residual renal function and micro inflammatory state increased more significantly.

Objective To investigate the effect of Mannatide capsules and Thymic peptide on children with recurrent respiratory tract infections(RRI) and the influnence on their immunity. Methods 160 patients with recurrent respiratory tract infections were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group, the treatment group were treated with Mannatide capsales and Thymic peptide while the control group with only the routine therapy. Results The effect of the treatment group was over the control one(P<0.01),two groups of the patients were promoted on Ig level, and the effect of 160 cases in the treatment group was more obvious than that of the control one(P<0.05). Conclusion Mannatide and Thyrnic peptide applied together are effective in treating children with recurrent respiratory tract infections.

Objective To understand the dietary intake of pregnant women, and try to give a reasonable sug-gestion to promote fetal development. Methods 400 pregnant women in Fushan city were enrolled in this study and their dietary intake were investigated, then the software of Analysis of pregnancy nutrition guidance system was used to make nutrition analysis. Results The ratio of the energy in each pregnancy provided by dietary protein, carbohy-drate and fat were relatively appropriate. But the intake of dietary calcium, ferrum, zinc, vitamin B1 and vitamin B2 in early pregnancy were very low, the intake were respectively 764.51 mg, 26.94 mg, 15.71 mg, 1.12 g, 1.13 g. Each pregnancy the ratio of high-quallty protein in total protein intake were more than 50%, an average protein RNI% was 48.50%. Conclusion The dietary style of pregnant women is relatively reasonable. But they should strengthened nutritional guide to intake more calciuro, ferrum, zinc, vitamin B1 and vitamin B2.

Objective To explore the efficiency and safety of sodium valproate intravenous therapy on refractory status epilepsy(RSE)by diazepam in Chinese adult. Methods Twenty-five patients of RSE,consecutively admitted to West China Hospital of Sichuan University from September 1999 to May 2007,received intravenous administration of sodium valproate after being refractory to intravenous diazepam and intramuscular phenobarbitone. The efficiency and side effect of sodium valproate were then evaluated. There were ten males and fifteen females with mean age of fifty-five years. The symptoms of status epilepticus(SE)included generalized tonic-clonic status epilepticus(GTCS)(14 cases),complex partial status epilepticus(CPS)(7 cases),simple partial status epilepticus(SPS)(2 cases)and myoclonic status epielepticus(MS)(2 cases). The primary diseases prior to SE were viral encephalitis(13 cases),withdrawal of antiepilepsy drug(AEDs)(5 cases),cerebral trauma and brain surgery(3 cases),cerebral infarction(2 cases),intoxication(1 case)and cerebral palsy(1 case).Among them nine patients had a history of epilepsy. Results Of all the 25 cases of RSE,twenty-two were controlled with sodium valproate within one hour, and consciousness recovered within next one hour.No significant changes were found in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate and cardiac rhythm, and no encephalopathy occurred. On the other hand, the other three cases who failed to be controlled, frequency and duration of seizure were redured. Conclusions Although intravenous sodium valproate has not been approved to be the drug of first choice for SE therapy, but it is non-sedative anti-convulsion drug that can be safely used to stop different kinds of diazepam resistant SE efficiently without obvious side effect. In addition,a quick recovery of patients' consciousness may be expected within an hour afte RSE being controlled.

Our aim in this study was to determine differentially expressed genes of CD34 + cell from bone marrow and G CSF mobilized peripheral blood. CD34 + cells isolated from bone marrow and G CSF mobilized peripheral blood of the same donor were identified for differentially expressed genes in CD34 + cells using the technique of suppression subtractive hybridization. Eleven genes were expressed with higher levels in CD34 + cells from mobilized peripheral blood, as compared with data of GenBank. These genes included nuclear proteins, transcriptional regulatory molecules, zinc finger proteins and interferon induced molecules. These results demonstrate that there are some differences between the two groups of CD34 + cells. Further study would give us more extensive understanding about mobilization and homing of hematopoietic stem cells.
