1.New challenge of liver surgery: associating liver partition and portal vein ligation for staged hepatectomy
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2016;15(5):428-430
An innovative approach, named associating liver partition and portal vein ligation for staged hepatectomy (ALPPS),has made possible a marked increase in future liver remnant (FLR) over a short period of time, and has challenged the concept of unresectability. To date,ALPPS has been employed for a variety of primary and metastatic liver tumors from many centers across the world. Many technical variations of ALPPS have been described. However, much controversy has surrounded this procedure, and many problems remain to be solved, such as the reasons for rapid hypertrophy, the technical feasibility, safety and long-term oncologic outcomes, and the result compared with the conventional two-stage hepatectomy. These aspects are needed to be evaluated further in large-scale studies. We believe that the ALPPS procedure will has much room for further development.
2.Effect of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation on Motor Function in Cerebral Palsy Children with Epilepsy
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2016;22(1):98-102
Objective To explore the effect of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on motor function in cerebral palsy children with epilepsy. Methods 270 cerebral palsy children with epilepsy hospitalized from February, 2011 to September, 2014 were ran-domized to control group (n=130) and treatment group (n=140). The control group received comprehensive rehabilitation, including mas-sage, exercise, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech training, cognitive function training and medication, and the treatment group re-ceived rTMS in addition. They were assessed with Gross Motor Function Measure-88 (GMFM-88) and Peabody Developmental Measure Scale-Gross Motor (PDMS-GM) before, and 1 and 2 months after treatment. Results The total scores of GMFM-88 and PDMS-GM in-creased more in the treatment group than in the control group (F>93.9, P<0.001). Conclusion rTMS can further improve the motor function in cerebral palsy children with epilepsy.

p53,the widely studied tumor suppressor gene ,plays a key role in regulating cell cycle ,repai-ring DNA damages , eliminating free radicals and regulating immune responses and so on .The recent studies showed that p53 mutation was in close biological connections with the occurrence , development , infiltration and metastasis in over 50 percent digestive systemic malignant tumors .In view of the current researches ,we review the biological features of p53,the relationship between p53 and digestive systemic malignant tumors ,and gene therapy of p53 to provide references for the pathogenesis ,diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of digestive systemic malig-nant tumors in this paper .

Journal of Clinical Neurology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To assess the clinical use of anti-Parkinson's disease(PD)drugs in the patients with PD,and provide a basis to formulate an effective clinical drug program. Methods 190 PD patients were interviewed by questionnaires about resources, dosage and costs of anti-PD drugs from April,2004 to March,2005.Results By retrospective analysis, number of drugs used in per patient per year was 2.88;levodopa dosage and Levodopa Equivalents(LDE)per patient were 323.0 mg/d and 318.6 mg/d respectively, and LDE increased significantly following by scores of Hoehn-Yahr(H&Y)class increasing(P

OBJECTIVE:To probe the advantages and disadvantges of soft packing container of hospital- prepared infusion fluid.METHODS:The hospital- prepared bottled infusion fluid was compared with soft parking fluid in respect to production costs, quality of preparation and clinical use.RESULTS & CONCLUSION:The soft packing infusion fluid has developing potential, however,at present there exist some problems to be settled. It can not take the place of bottled infusion fluid in the near future.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2001;0(06):-
Objective To study and to improve the understanding of the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of familial congenital adrenal hyperplasia(CAH) due to 17? hydroxylase deficiency. Methods 2 rare cases of 17? hydroxylase deficiency in a family were studied with review of the literature. Results 2 cases were definitely diagnosed, one being male pseudohermaphroditism and the other female hypogonadism.Treatment consisted of replacement doses of glucocorticoid hormones and supplemented by estrogen therapy. The serum potassium became normal and the blood pressure was kept below 150/90 mm Hg. Conclusions 17? hydroxylase dificiency is a kind of hypertensive forms of CAH and is inherited as an autosomal recessive trait, its prevalence being rare.It is associated with hypogonadism or pseudohermaphroditism, hypertension or hypokalemia and with absent/decreased 17 OHCS and 17 KS.Hypoaldosteronism and positive dexamathasone inhibition test are the outstanding features.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2015;(6):761-765
Objective:To study the cytotoxicity of PHEMA /CPC composite hydrogel.Methods:L929 cells were cultured by RP-MI1 640 with 1 0% fetal bovine serum(blank control),with PHEMA /CPC extraction(experimental group),high density polyethy-lene(HDPE)extracts(negative control)and 5% DMSO(positive control)for 24,48 and 72 h respectively. The cell proliferation was examined by MTT assay.Cell apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry and Annexin V-FITC /PI kit. Results:The A value of positive control group decreased with the increase of culture time(P <0.01 )(between experimental and negative control groups,P>0.05).The cytotoxicity of the experimental group was grade Ⅰ.That of other groups increased with the increase of culture time. Cell apoptosis(%)in PHEMA /CPC composite hydrogel group and blank group was 4.21 ±0.30 and 4.89 ±0.39 respectively(P>0.05).Conclusion:Injectable PHEMA /CPC composite hydrogel has no cytotoxicity and no effect on cell apoptosis.
