This article conducted the discussion based on the flavor and meridian tropism, invasive pathways, pathogenesis features, and transmission prognosis of tabacco. It proposed that the lung defence are firstly attacked by tobacco evil qi; then evil qi is accumulating to be toxic; toxin hides in the Taiyin; viscera is weak; qi is exhausted and the body fluidis impaired; toxin victimizes vessel and fumigates the viscera, so all kinds of diseases engender.

Objective:To study the inhibitory effect of E1A gene on the growth of tumors in nude mice implanted with nasopharygeal carcinoma CNE2 cells and its promotion effect on the racliosensitivity of CNE2-implanted tumors, and to investigate the related mechanism. Methods: E1A gene was transfected into CNE2 cells using adenovirus system, and sta-ble E1A positive clones were established. The inhibitory effect of E1A on tumor formation-ability of CNE2 cells was ob-served in nude mice. The efficacy of E1A gene therapy with or without radiotherapy against CNE2 cell-implanted tumors was evaluated. The effect of E1A gene therapy on the expression of P53 was detected by RT-PCR. Results: CNE2 cells stably transfected with E1A gene (CNE2-Ad-E1A) were successfully established. The tumor formation time was later and tumor size was smaller in CNE2-Ad-E1A cell-implanted mice compared with those in CNE2 cell- and CNE2-Ad-β-gal cell-implanted mice (CNE2 cells stably transfected with Ad-β-gal). Radiotherapy, E1A gene therapy and E1A gene + radio-therapy all suppressed the growth of implanted tumors, with the tumor suppression rates being (60.32±5.34) %, (70.53±6.12) %, and (97.15±4.87) % , respectively. E1A gene therapy significantly increased the expression of P53 gene in tumor tissues. Conclusion: E1A can inhibit the growth of tumors in mice implanted with nasopharygeal carcinoma cells, and enhance its sensitivity to radiotherapy, which may be related to the increased expression of P53 gene in tumor tissues.

Objective To isolate and observe Pityrosporum yeasts from a patient with onychomycosis. Methods The involved nail specimens were investigated by means of culture, pathological and scanning electron microscopic examination and 20% KOH preparation. Results Physical examination showed that each finger and toe nail appeared brownish black, rough and thick, some of the fore part of the nail plate detached from the nail bed. Fingernail specimen's culture results showed that Trichophyton rubrum grew on Sabouraud's dextrose agar and Pityrosporum ovale grew on the medium containing rapeseed oil. The pathological examination revealed P.ovale yeast involvement in the fissure of the nail plate. Under the scanning electron microscopy, a lot of P.ovale yeasts with characteristic collarette structure inserted in the nail tissue was noticed. In the 20% KOH preparations of nail incubated at 56℃for 1h and stained with Quink Parker ink, spores and hyphae were identified morphologically with P.ovale and T.rubrum respectively. The patient received intermittent pulse therapy with itraconazole, the color of the nails became much brighter 1 to 2 months after the fourth cycle of therapy, but no further improvement was observed afterwards. P.ovale and T.rubrum grew again 6 months after treatment when the clippings of the fingernail were cultured. Conclusion This is the first document of onychomycosis related with P.ovale in China.

ObjectiveTo investigate the methods of reducing eye injury in phacoemulsification．MethodsPhacoemulsification with intraocular lens（IOL）implantation was performed on 98 cases（98 eyes）of cataract using a new type of phaco tip（MicroTip）with high vaccum and low energy．All the nuclei was harder than Grade Ⅳ．Postoperative visual acuity and eye injury were observed，including corneal edema，anterior chamber in flammation，intraocular pressure，IOL position and retinal condition．ResultsPostoperative visual acuity is 0.5 or better in all cases，1.0 ? or better in 28 cases（28.6％）．The complication during operation，such as anterior chamber hemorrhage，posterior capsule rupture and vitreous loss，did not occur．Postoperative complications were very slight．Two eyes（2％）suffered mild corneal edema that lasted no more than a week．No other complications were found．ConclusionMicroTip is a kind of safe and effective facility for phacoemusification，with which we can reduce the eye injury，especially dealing with the hard nuclei．

Objective To explore the effect of transitional care model (TCM) on the prevention of complications in patients with severe cerebral infarction. Methods Sixty patients with severe cerebral infarction were randomly divided into the experiment group and the control group, 30 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional nursing and the observation group received TCM. The two groups were compared in terms of the incidence of complications and re-admission rate. Result The incidence of complications and the rate of re-admissions in the experiment group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion TCM can reduce the incidence of complications in patients with severe cerebral infarction, lower the incidence of hospital admission, relieve the pain of patients and improve the quality of life of patients.

Objective To study the expression of HGF , RAGE in placentas of patients with gestational diabetes mellitus and its relationship with maternal and neonatal prognosis .Methods The complete clinical datas of late pregnancy,GDM treated group 40 cases,GDM untreated group 23 cases,the control group 30 cases.Immunohisto-chemical method was used to detect HGF and RAGE in the placentas of three groups ,the maternal and neonatal prog-nosis were recorded.Results In GDM untreated group,GDM treated group and the controlled group placenta ,HGF and RAGE expressed.The expression of HGF was gradually increased ,and any comparative differences between two groups were statistically significant ( F =7.56, P <0.05 );the expression of RAGE in placentas was gradually declined ,the differences among the control group and GDM untreated ,GDM treated group were statistically significant (F=11.62,P<0.05).The rates of maternal and neonatal complications in the GDM untreated group were signifi-cantly higher than that of the GDM treated group and the control group (χ2 =7.34,13.21,9.75,6.67,15.23, 12.53,all P<0.05).Conclusion HGF and RAGE may participate in the occurrence and development of GDM and maternal and neonatal prognosis closely ,regular treatment can improve the prognosis of mothers and infants .
