Objective To investigate the imaging characteristics of primary abdominal cocoon in order to improve diagnosis level. Methods The imaging data of 5 cases of primary abdominal cocoon proved by surgery and pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results Abdominal plain X-ray suggested intestinal obstruction in 3 out of 5 cases. The gastrointestinal barium meal showed cauliflower signal in all 5 cases;CT suggested a conglomeration of multiple small bowel loops in the 5 cases and the intestinal loops seemed to be encapsulated in a thickened capsule. Conclusion Abdominal cocoon should be taken into consideration when gastrointestinal barium meal shows cauli flower signal and CT displays conglomeration.
3.Progress in placental growth factor in ocular neovascular disease
International Eye Science 2016;16(11):2053-2058
Neovascularization is the main cause of blindness, such as diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of prematurity and age - related macular degeneration. Vascular endothelial growth factor( VEGF) plays an important role in the formation of angiogenesis, and is considered to be the most potent angiogenic growth factor. Placental Growth Factor(PlGF) is one of the VEGF family, which play a crucial role in endothelial cell proliferation and migration, angiogenesis, and immune - mediated inflammation. Meanwhile, PlGF is specifically expressed in pathological angiogenesis, but not in normal blood vessels. In recent years, there has been increasing attention to PlGF, therefore this article reviews the role of PlGF in neovascular ocular diseases.
5.THE EFFECTS OF db-cAMP ON CaM LEVEL,PK Ⅱ ACTIVITY AND INHIBITION OF TRANSFORMED CELLS PROLIFERATION
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
Objective To study the mechanism of the effects of db cAMP on the inhibition of cell proliferation and phenotypic changes in transformed cells. Methods The progression of cell cycle was analyzed by the flow cytometry. The transforming phenotype of C 3H 10 T 1/2 cells was observed by the soft agar colony formation.Northern blotting and radioimmunoassay were used to analyze the level of CaM expression. The activity of PKⅡ was determined through ? 32 p ATP incorporation assay. Results The proliferation of transformed C 3H 10 T 1/2 cells was inhibited markedly by 1mmol/L db cAMP.The db cAMP treated transformed cells were accumulated at G 1 phase. After treatment with db cAMP,the soft agar colony formation efficient in transformed cells was decreased evidently, simultaneously, cells altered in morphology, from rounded to flattened shape. In contrast to normal cells,CaM level and PKⅡ activity increased in transformed cells. However, both CaM level and PKⅡ activity in transformed cells treated by db cAMP decreased obviously.Conclusion\ The results indicate that not only alteration of CaM expression, but also the changes of the PKⅡ activity are involved in account for the cell transformation and induced differentiation of transformed cells. It is possible that the role for CaM in the cell transformation and induced differentiation may be mediatied by the effect of PKⅡ. \;[

Chinese Journal of Sports Medicine 1982;0(01):-
The investigation was conducted among eight untrained male and six well-trained male cyclists with the purpose of finding out the relationship between muscle fiber composition and lactate threshold. Muscle biopsy samples were taken of vastus lateralis to determine the composition of fiber type (Ⅰ, Ⅱ). Maximal oxygen uptake was measured in a progressive cycle ergometer test, while blood lactate threshold was determined on the basis of a systematic increase in BLa above baseline warm-up values. Analyses show that the percentage of type Ⅰ is closely correlated with lactate threshold in both groups of subjects and that muscle fiber composition plays (?) important role in determining lactate threshold. Therefore, an assessment of muscle fiber composition is useful for spotting athletes with high potential for endurance performance.
8.Analysis of Volatile Compositions in Xanthium Sibiricum Patr. Before and After Processing by HS-SPME-GC-MS
China Pharmacist 2017;20(2):235-237,241
Objective:To analyze the changes of chemical compositions and relative contents of volatile constituents in raw Xanthi-um sibiricum Patr. and fried Xanthium sibiricum Patr. Methods: Headspace solid phase micro extraction ( HS-SPME) combined with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry ( GC-MS) was used to study the volatile components in raw and fried products of Xanthium sibir-icum Patr. . A peak area normalization method was applied to calculate the relative percentage content of each composition. Results:Totally 26 and 27 kinds of compounds were isolated and identified respectively from raw and fried xanthium including 19 species and re-spectively accounting for 68. 69% and 90. 08% of the total volatile components. In the raw products, the components with high con-tents were camphor (15. 3%), eucalyptus oil alcohol (9. 6%) and borneol (6. 89%), while in the fried products, those were men-thol (24. 09%), borneol (18. 48%) and eucalyptol (7. 19%). Conclusion:The relative contents of components with effects on rhi-nitis in the fried products are obviously higher than those in the raw products. HS-SPME-GC-MS can be used to detect the volatile com-positions and their relative contents in the raw products and fried products of Xanthium sibiricum Patr. . From the changes of volatile components, theoretical basis can be laid for the components with certain efficacy in raw and fried Xanthium sibiricum Patr. , and scien-tific basis can be provided for their further study and comprehensive utilization.

10.Effect and mechanism of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells transplantation on collagen-induced arthritis
Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2009;13(6):-
ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) on collagen-induced arthritis(CIA) and the possible mechanisms. MethodsMSCs from C57BL/6 mice bone marrow were isolated and expanded. Three DBA-I mice were as normal control group (Sodium Chloride injected on day 0 and 21) after primary immunization. After the bovine collagen Ⅱ induced-CIA models were established, fifteen male mice were randomly divided into 3 groups according to treatment regi-mens: CIA control group(0.2 ml Sodium Chloride injected through caudal vein on day 0 and 21), prevention group(1×10+6 cells MSC on day 0) and treatment group. (1×10+6 cells MSC on day 21 after primary immun-ization). The observed parameters included arthritis index (Al), articular pathology changes, levels of serum TNF-α, IL-1β detected hy ELISA. In addition, the percentage of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg cells(Tregs) in CD4+ T cells of spleen or lymphoid node from mice were also analyzed by flow cytometry(FCM). Results①The Al and articular pathological score of the prevention group and treatment group were lower than the CIA control group(P<0.05). ②The levels of serum TNF-α and IL-1β of normal control, prevention group and treatment group were significantly decreased compared with CIA control group(P<0.05), and positively correlated with Al or articular pathological score (P<0.05). ③The percentage of Tregs from spleen and lymph nodes was significantly increased in MSCs treated mice(P<0.05). Conclusion MSCs transplantation is effective for CIA and suppression of TNF-α, IL-1β and up-regulation of Tregs by MSCs may be the possible mechanism in CIA.
