Objective To improve spiral CT diagnosis and differential diagnosis of small amounts of traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage(TSAH).Methods SCT features of 105 cases with small amounts of TSAH , which were demonstrated by SCT reexaminations , were retrospectively analyzed. Results The distributions of small amounts of TSAH included cerebral longitudinal fissure cistern in 47 cases, cerebral lateral fissure cistern in 30 cases , cerebral surface sulcus in 22 cases, tentorium of cerebellum in 6 cases. There were 12 cases of small amounts of TSAH with contusion and laceration of brain , Subdural hematoma or bone fracture of skull.Conclusions Spiral CT scan has important value in qualitation and level diagnosisa of small amounts of TSAH.

Medical imaging inspection technology is a practical major obligatory course for college students in medical imaging major.In order to overcome the defects of traditional teaching,we try to improve teaching methods,to carry out opening laboratory system,and to establish picture archiving and communication system ( PACS ) laboratory for the cultivation of applied talents of medical imaging.

Objective:To explore the relationship between spino-pelvic sagittal and coronal parameters in Lenke 1 group of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS).Methods:The subjects were retrospectively col-lected from 2005 to 2013.On the posteroanterior and lateral radiographs, apical vertebra ( AV) , Cobb an-gle of main thoracic curve (MT), pelvic incidence (PI), C7 translation ratio (C7TR) and other sagittal parameters were measured and recorded.Comparison and correlation studies were conducted between these parameters using specific softwares.Results: In the study, 51 subjects, including 18 males and 33 fe-males, were recruited, aged (14.9 ±2.0) years averagely.The apical vertebra ranged from T7 to T11,with mean MT being 49.6闭±16.7闭, and mean PI 44.7°±6.7°.Significant correlation existed between PI and PT, SS, LL, as well as between LL and SS, TK ( P <0.05) .Significant differences were found in TK, LL and SS among the different LM groups, but no difference in the other sagittal parameters.AV had no significant correlation with any sagittal parameter.MT was significantly correlated with TK, LL and SS, but its correlation with PI was not significant.Conclusion:Most of sagittal parameters were significantly corre-lated in Lenke 1 adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, forming a regulation chain of spine-pelvic sagittal balance on the basis of PI.Significant correlation exists between some sagittal and coronal parameters.

Objective To determine the prognostic factors in systemic sclerosis.Methods Clinical data of definite systemic sclerosis patients were collected,including disease onset age,sex,disease course,Raynaud's phenomenon,skin involvement,gastroesophageal reflux,interstitial pneumonia,cardiac lesions,kidney lesions and scleroderma renal crisis.serum antibodies to scl-70.RNP and anti-centromere antibody were detected.Pulmonary artery pressure was measured by ultrasound cardiography.Cox hazard ratio model was employed to assess the mortality risk of systemic sclerosis patients.Results No difference in Raynaud's phenomenon,gastroesophageal reflux,anti-nuclear antybody,anti-sol-70 antibody,anti-centromere antibody,interstitial pneumonia,diffusion capacity (DLco),coronary artery disease,and peripheral artery atherosclerotic disease could be found between the dead and alive systemic sclerosis patients(P>0.05).Dead systemic sclerosis patients had later disease,onset(older than 60 years old)(P=0.002).Male gender(P=0.023),more diffuse skin involvement(P=0.000),more positive anti-RNP antibody(P=0.014),more pulmonary artery hypertension(P=0.000).more cardiac lesions(P=0.000),more cerebral infarets (P=0.035),more kidney lesions(P=0.000),and more scleroderma renal crisis(P=0.000) could be found jn dead sclerosis patients.Cox regression analysis showed that,onset later than 60 years old(OR=5.441.95% CI 2.126～13.926,P=0.000),male sex (OR=5.531,95%CI 2.014～15.190,P=0.001),anti-RNP antibedy positivity (OR=2.664,95%CI 1.016～6.592,P=0.034),diffuse skin involvement(OR=3.432,95%CI 1.400～8.411,P=0.007),pulmonary artery hypertension (OR=25.718,95% CI 5.954～111.085,P=0.000),cardiac lesions (OR=4.141.95%CI 1.685～10.159,P=0.002),kidney lesions(OR=4.214,95%CI 1.654～10.737,P=0.003) and scleroderma renal crisis (OR=20.677,95% CI 4.161～102.764.P=0.000)were risk factors for mortality in systemic sclerosis.Severe pulmonary hypertension was the most strong predictive factor for mortality in systemic sclerosis (OR=55.809,95% CI 12.879～241.832.P=0.000).Conclusion Aggressive therapy should be given to those systemic sclerosis patients with onset later than 60 years old,male sex,diffuse skin involvement,anti-RNP antibody positivity,cardiac involvement,kidney lesions,scleroderma renal crisis and pulmonary artery hypertension,especially seevere pulmonary hypertension.

Objective To explore the clinical significance of anti-nuclear protein B23 antibody in systemic sclerosis. Methods Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was employed to detect the serum antinuclear B23 autoantibody. Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the clinical and autoantibody profiles between SSc patients with B23 antibody and those without B23 antibody. Logistic regression analysis was employed to analyze the correlation between B23 antibody and clinical manifestations and autoantibody profiles. Results Mann-Whitney U test showed that, forced vital capacity (FVC) diffusion capacity of CO (DLco) in B23 positive SSc was significantly lower than that in B23 negative counterparts, pulmonary artery hypertension was more prevalent in B23 positive SSc patients. While anti-fibrillarin, anti-U1RNP, and antic entromere antibodies were more prevalent in B23 positive SSc. Multivariate logistic regression showed that anti-B23 antibody positivity was an independent risk factor for pulmonary artery hypertension in SSc (OR=123.92, 95％CI 26.67～575.66, P＜0.01), and a protective factor for severe gastrointestinal involvement (OR=0.08, 95％CI 0.01 ～0.70, P＜O.05). Logistic analysis showed that anti-B23 antibody was correlated with antifibrillarin (OR=11.50, 95％CI3.85～34.37, P＜0.01) and anti-U1RNP antibodies (OR=3.43, 95％CI 1.01～11.63, P＜0.05), and correlated with different degree of pulmonary artery hypertension. Conclusion The pulmonary artery pressure should be monitored closely in those SSc patients with a positive B23 antibody.

In order to meet the requirements of the multi-physiological signal measurement of the 3D-TV health assessment, try to find the suitable biological acquisition chips and design the hardware system which can detect different physiological signals in real time. The systems mainly uses ARM11/S3C6410 microcontroller to control the EEG/EOG acquisition chip RHA2116 and the ECG acquisition chip ADS1298, and then the microcontroller transfer the data collected by the chips to the PC software by the USB port which can display and save the experimental data in real time, then use the Matlab software for further processing of the data, finally make a final health assessment. In the meantime, for the different varieties in the different brain regions of watching 3D-TV, developed the special brain electrode placement and the experimental data processing methods, then effectively disposed the multi-signal data in the multilevel.

Objective To compare the efficacy and adverse effects of 5 days' and 7 days' course of combination chemotherapy regimen HA in the treatment of chronic phase of chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML-CP). Methods 18 cases of CML-CP had received 5 days' course of combination chemotherapy regimen HA including homoharringtonine 4 mg/d and cytarabine 200 mg/d for 5 days. At the same time,another 18 patients diagnosed as CML-CP who were given 7 days' course of HA regimen including homoharringtonine 4 mg/d and cytarabine 200 mg/d for 7 days were compared on the efficacy including peripheral white blood cells, spleen size and cytogenetic responses and adverse effects. Results The complete remission(CR) rate was 50.0 % and 61.1 % in 5 days' and 7 days' treated groups, respectively (P >0.05). The incidence of severe bone marrow suppression in 7 days' group(16.7 %) was higher than that in 5 days' group(0)(P <0.05). Conclusion The 5 days' course of combination chemotherapy HA regimen is same as 7 days' course of HA regimen about their curative effects in CML-CP. But the incidence of severe bone marrow suppression in 7 days' group(16.7 %) was higher than that in 5 days' group (0).

Objective To summarize the clinical outcome of single posterior fixation and fusion in treatment of cervical spinal fracture combined with ankylosing spondylitis.Methods A total of 26 patients with cervical spinal fracture combined with ankylosing spondylitis admitted for surgical treatment from June 2003 to June 2008 were reviewed to analyze parameters including injury mechanism,injury severity,treatment course,operation records,postoperative follow-up and rehabilitation and evaluate neurologic recovery and fracture healing by using American Spinal Injury Association(ASIA)classification.Results A single posterior surgical procedure was performed in six patients,of whom the spinal cord function were rated at grade A in two patients,at grade B in one,at grade C in two and at grade D in one according to ASIA classification criteria.All patients were treated with posterior reduction and lateral mass fixation plus fusion.Two patients at grade ASIA A died of respiratory failure at 2 and 3 months respectively after operation.The other four patients were followed up for 12-54 months(mean 37 months),which showed solid fusion at average 3.8 months after operation and significant improvement of neural function.One patient with aggravated symptoms of spinal epidural hematoma at grade ASIA B was improved to grade D postoperatively.The patients at grades C and D recovered to normal.Hyponatremia occurred in two patients at grade ASIA A.There was no instrumentation related complications in all patients.Conclusions For cervical spinal fractures combined with ankylosing spondylitis without bone defect at fracture end,lateral mass fixation and autologous bone graft through a single posterior approach can attain stable fracture healing after sound reduction.

Objective To evaluate transurethral fulguration with intravesical instillation of heparin and alkalinized lidocaine for the treatment of interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS).Methods Data from the chnical records of 31 patients (30 female and 1 male) with IC/BPS were analyzed retrospectively.Transurethral fulguration and biopsy were performed.Intravesical instillation of heparin and alkalinized lidocaine (25 000 units of hepmin,10 mL of 2％ lidocaine,and 5 mL of 5％ sodium bicarbonate) was administered weekly for 8 weeks.Thereafter,intmvesical instillation treatment was administered twice a month.The interstitial cystitis symptom index and problem index (O'Leary-Sant index),visual analog scale score for pain,quality-of-life index,voiding frequency,bladder capacity,and side effects of intravesical instillation were recorded preoperatively and at the first and sixth month follow-ups postoperatively.Results The follow-up period was 6 to 24 months.The interstitial cystitis symptom index and problem index,visual analog scale score for pain,quality-of-life index,daily voiding time,and maximal bladder volume improved significantly in 28 cases (90.32％;P ＜ 0.01),and no significant adverse effects were observed.Two patients underwent cystectomy,and the symptoms disappeared after the operation.Carcinoma in situ was detected on histopathological examination in one patient.Conclusion Transurethral fulguration with intravesical instillation of heparin and alkalinized lidocaine is a safe and effective therapy for IC/BPS.

Objective To investigate whether TG2 plays an important role in the osteoblast differentiation and mineralization.Methods TG2 mRNA of SaOS-2 cells was knocked down using a lentivirus stably expressing short-hairpin ( sh) RNA targeting TG2.Then the cells were cultured in osteo-inductive medium for 14 d to measure mineralization and for 7 d to measure the levels of osteoblastic differentiation markers including ALP activity and mRNA of collagen I, osteocalcin ( OCN) and BMP-2.The wild-type SaOS-2 cells and scrambled shRNA-transducted SaOS-2 cells served as the controls. Results The controls displayed an increasing trend of the level of ALP activity and mRNA of collagen I, osteocalcin and BMP-2,and notable mineralization at 14 d.When TG2 was knocked down, ALP activity, mRNA of collagen I, osteocalcin and BMP-2 at 7d,and mineralization at 14 d were all significantly lower in comparison with the corresponding values in the controls.Conclusion TG2 is involved in the differentiation and mineralization of osteoblasts in vitro.
