1.Pay attention to the research hotspots and evidence quality for the diagnosis and treatment of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2015;31(6):521-523
Non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) is one of the most common acute optic neuropathy in adult characterized with impaired visual acuity and visual fields. The pathogenesis of NAION mostly result from the interactions between the systemic risk factors (such as diabetes mellitus, night hypotension, hereditary) and the local ocular risk factors (such as small optic disc and vitreo-papillary traction).A fully promoted diagnosis and treatment of NAION are based on the higher levels of clinical cvidence, as well as the comprehensive assessment of relationship between the systemic and ocular risk factors in the pathogenesis of NAION.Secondary optic neuropathy of NAION and the early diagnosis with effective treatment of the fellow eye would be highly emphasized.
2.The highlights in stress urinary incontinence
Journal of Chinese Physician 2017;19(3):332-335
Stress urinary incontinence is a common and frequently disease among middle and old women. However,it did not cause enough attention by patients. In recent years, people have learned more about incontinence mechanism, and designed some tension-free vaginal tape operation. Those operations have showed excellently effects. We introduce some highlights about stress urinary incontinence to help reader understand the disease, such as operation principle, influencing factors about surgery, indications, concomitant disease and surgical treatment for failure cases, etc.

Objective To explore the curative effects of uterine arterial embolization(UAE) in treating adenomyosis. Methods Bilateral UAE was performed by Seldinger’s technique in 39 patients with adenomysis (11 cases coexisted with uterine leiomyoma). The catamenia, menorrhalgia, anemia, the size of uterus and lesions were observed after procedure. Results 6 months after treatment, mean catamenia was reduces 56.2%(?

Chinese Journal of Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases 2006;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the abnormal situation and the characteristics of body mass index(BMI),blood pressure (BP),blood lipid(BL),and fasting plasma glucose(FPG) in residents of Chongqing. Methods Data of BMI,BP,BL and FPG were obtained from 16 367 residents receiving regular health examination in our Hospital in 2006.Results These metabolic indicators of this group were abnormal:The detection rate was 33.2%(42.5% in male and 17.6% in female)for overweight;7.4%(9.7% in male and 3.5% in female) for obesity;25.4%(30.0% in male and 17.6% in female) for hypertension;,38.9%(41% in male and 35.5% in female) for total cholesterol;26.1%( 34% in male and 12.8% in female) for triglyceride;23.7%(26.8% in male and 18.6% in female) for low-density lipoprotein;8.2%(11.8% in male and 2.2% in female) for high-density lipoprotein;3.2%(3.8% in male and 2.2% in female) for impaired fasting glucose;and 3.2%(3.9% in male and 2.0% in female) for diabetes meUitus. The detection rate of these metabolic disorders was significantly higher in men than those in women, and increased with age, which was significantly higher in people aged 30-40 years than in people aged less than 30 years. Conclusion The levels of BMI,BP,BL and FPG of health examination residents in Chongqing had its unique characteristics, and were abnormal significantly,it was very important to take regularly health examination after 30 yrs old.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 2006;0(09):-
Objective To analyze the accuracy, sensitivity and safety of multidetector CT angiography(MDCTA) and DSA;furthermore to explore the clinical value of MDCTA in studying the delayed cerebral vasospasm(DCVS) .Methods Delayed cerebral vasospasm was induced in 17 rabbits by injection of autologuous blood into the cisterna magna and followed by a second injection 24 hours later.MDCTA and DSA were carried out at the 7th day before and after the procedure in order to obtain the data of vascular diameter changes for comparative study. Results The basilar artery diameters detected by MDCTA were shown preoperatively as(1.55 ? 0.14) mm and postoperatively as(0.95 ? 0.20) mm;and detected by DSA as(1.61 ? 0.19) mm and(1.00 ? 0.17) mm postoperatively;showing statistically equivalence between the two methods. Conclusions MDCTA is recommended as a reliable, rapid, and minimally invasive diagnostic method, providing a new technique for the delayed cerebral vasospasm research.

Objective To investigate DNA double-strand breaks and radiosensitization in renal carcinoma 786-O cells induced by fludarabine (FA) combined with different ionizing radiations. Methods The 786-O cells were exposed to FA combined with X-ray or heavy ion beam irradiation.Flow cytometry was used to evaluate the percentage of γH2AX-positive cells and cell cycle. The neutral comet assay was used to detect DNA double-strand breaks. The colony-forming assay was used to evaluate the effects of different treatments on cell survival.Comparison between groups was made by one-way analysis of variance or Dunnet' s t test. Results Compared with FA alone or irradiation alone,FA combined with different ionizing radiations increased DNA double-strand breaks as shown by significantly increased levels of γH2AX (P=0.007,0.001);FA combined with heavy ion beam irradiation lead to a cell cycle block at the radiosensitive G2/M phase and significantly increased the expression of γH2AX in the G2/M phase (P=0.000,0.000);the neutral comet assay revealed that FA combined with irradiation significantly increased DNA sublethal damage (P=0.020,0.060);FA significantly reduced the colony-forming rate after irradiation (P=0.000,0.030;0.001,0.040).Conclusions FA enhances the effects induced by X-ray and heavy ion beam irradiation with different properties.Particularly,FA substantially enhances the cell death induced by heavy ion beam irradiation.
