1.The enlightenment of Fu's subcutaneous needling on pain medicine.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(6):591-593
Fu's subcutaneous needling (FSN) is a modern approach developed from traditional Chinese acupuncture. It could give some stimulation in the subcutaneous region that has a quick and long-lasting effect on soft tissue injuries and some of the internal medicine diseases. It is a safe approach without adverse reaction. Through analysis of the features and possible mechanism of FSN, it is believed that research on mechanism of FSN is beneficial to the development of modern medicine, especially to pain management.

International Eye Science 2014;(6):1037-1040
Neovascular glaucoma ( NVG ) is a kind of intractable eye disease with complex etiology, strong destruction and poor effect on treatment. Extensive retinal ischemia and hypoxia is the main etiology, and the key of treatment is early diagnosis, active prevention and taking effective measures to prevent the production of vascular endothelial growth factor. According to the related literature over recent years, the authors will discuss pros and cons for medical, surgical and combined treatment in this review.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2014;(5):295-299
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of warm needling plus tuina in treating senile functional constipation. <br> Methods: Ninety elderly patients with functional constipation were randomized into two groups. Forty-six patients in the treatment group were intervened by warm needling plus tuina; the other forty-four patients in the control group were intervened bySan Huang tablet. <br> Results: In the treatment group, 19 patients were cured, 24 cases showed improvement, 3 cases failed, and the total effective rate was 93.5%; in the control group, 16 patients were cured, 18 cases showed improvement, 10 cases failed, and the total effective rate was 77.3%. There was a significant difference in comparing the therapeutic efficacy (P<0.05), and the therapeutic efficacy of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group. <br> Conclusion: Warm needling plus tuina can produce a higher therapeutic efficacy than takingSan Huang tablet in treating senile functional constipation.

OBJECTIVE:To observe clinical efficacy and safety of tiotropium bromide combined with budesonide formoterol in the treatment of severe bronchial asthma in adults. METHODS:A total of 110 adult patients with severe bronchial asthma were selected from our hospital during Mar. 2013-Mar. 2016 were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table, with 55 cases in each group. Control group was given Budesonide formoterol powder for inhalation,2 inhalations each time, bid;observation group was additionally given Tiotropium bromide powder for inhalation 18 μg,qd,on the basis of con-trol group. Both groups were treated for 6 months. Clinical efficacies as well as ACT scores, respiration function indexes and the times of acute attack of asthma before and after treatment, the occurrence of ADR were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:The efficiency rate and total response rate of observation group were 54.55% and 96.36%,which were significantly higher than 32.73%,78.18% in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in ACT scores, respiration function indexes or the times of acute attack of asthma between 2 groups(P>0.05). After treatment,ACT scores of 2 groups were significantly higher than before treatment;FEV1,FEV1/FVC and PEF were significantly greater than be-fore treatment,PEFR was significantly lower than before treatment;and the indexes in observation group was significantly better than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). 1,3,6 months after treatment, the times of acute attack of asthma in 2 groups were significantly less than before treatment, and that in observation group was significantly less than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). The incidence of ADR in observation group was 20.00%,and there was no statistical signifi-cance compared to 14.55% of control group(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Tiotropium bromide combined with budesonide formoter-ol in the treatment of severe bronchial asthma in adults can effectively relieve the severity of disease, improve respiration function, reduce the times of acute attack of asthma, and have good therapeutic efficacy and safety.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the immunoregulatory role of tolerogenic dendritic cells(TolDC) in allergic airway inflammation in mouse model of allergic rhinitis(AR).METHODS A total of 24 Balb/c mice were equally and randomly divided into 4 groups with 6 mice in each group. AR group was established with oval bumin(OVA) sensitization and challenge, meanwhile the physiological saline(PBS) sensitization and challenge as the control group. AR group were treated by adoptive transfer of TolDC as treatment group. And treatment group were injected intraperitoneally with TGF-β/IL-10R neutralizing antibody as blockade group. In each group, allergic nasal symptoms score, inflammatory cell infiltration in lung, the expression of Th1/Th2-derived cytokines in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF) and nasal lavage fluid(NALF), the expression of OVA-specific serum IgE and the expression of Treg in lung were measured.RESULTS The mouse model of OVA-induced AR was successfully developed. Compared with AR group, treatment group exhibited lower allergic nasal symptoms score, a decrease in inflammatory cell infiltration in lung, lower expression of Th1/Th2-derived cytokines in BALF and NALF and OVA-specific serum IgE, as well as up-regulation of Treg in lung, which were abolished by TGF-β/IL-10 neutralizing antibody shown in blockade group.CONCLUSION TolDC suppress airway inflammation in AR by inducing regulatory T cells through TGF-β/IL-10-dependent mechanisms.

Objective To evaluate the effect of human milk fortification on short‐term growth of premature infants in NICU and its clinical safety .Methods According to different formulas ,the premature infants were divided into preterm formula group ,human milk group and human milk fortification group (HMF group) .Its growth rate ,blood biochemistry ,adverse event rate and so on were compared .Results There were 147 cases meeting requirements .the weight growth velocity of preterm formula group ,human milk group and HMF group were (19 .44 ± 5 .14) ,(14 .53 ± 5 .86) ,(17 .09 ± 5 .81) g · kg -1 · d-1 respectively with statistical sig‐nificance (P<0 .01);the growth velocity of head circumference of preterm formula group (0 .72 ± 0 .34)cm/w and HMF group (0 .71 ± 0 .29) cm/w were significantly higher than that of human milk group (0 .51 ± 0 .34)cm/w (P<0 .01);the time of regaining or overtopping birth weight of preterm formula group (8 .55 ± 3 .20)d and HMF group (9 .43 ± 4 .53)d was significantly shorter than that of human milk group (10 .93 ± 3 .02)d(P<0 .01);the EUGR occurrence rate of head circumference of preterm formula group and HMF group were significantly lower than that of human milk group(P<0 .01) .The feeding intolerance rate of preterm formula group (15 .52% ) was significantly higher than that of human milk group (2 .13% ) (P<0 .05);there were no significant difference in incidence rate of infection event in each group(P>0 .05) .Conclusion Human milk fortification can control the inci‐dence rate of infection event and feeding intolerance to increase growth velocity of weight and head circumference of premature in‐fants during hospital stay .
