Objective To evaluate different angiocardiographic techniques of congenital heart disease in children. Methods 11045 pediatric patients with congenital heart disease were performed angiocardiography using cut film, cine film and digital subtraction angiography(DSA) equipments. Different angiocardiographic techniques were used. Results The diagnostic accuracy of cut film with conventional AP and lateral views was 80.5%,the diagnostic accuracy of cine film with angulated views was 90.0% and the diagnostic accuracy of DSA using non-ionic contrast medium with angulated views was 96.5%. Conclusion Dynamic picture angiography with digital subtraction using non-ionic contrast medium under rapid injection is the key for claiming the high quality imaging diaguosis of congenital heart disease in children.

Objective To evaluate the clinical diagnostic value and limitation of MRI and contrast enhancement MRA (CE-MRA) in congenital heart disease of children. Methods Three hundred patients with congenital heart disease underwent CE-MRA. 173 were confirmed by operation. The results of MRA and CE-MRA were compared with operation data. Results 196 (86.0%) intracardiac malformation including septal defect and valve anomaly were diagnosed correctly by MRI within 228 abnormalities which were confirmed by operation. 101 (96.2%) extracardiac malformation including great vessels stenosis and anomalous connection were diagnosed correctly by MRI and MRA within 105 abnormalities which were confirmed by operation. Conclusion MRI and CE-MRA are very accurate diagnostic method for extracardiac malformation. CE-MRA is the best sequence for congenital heart disease.

Objective To report 6 cases of congenital heart disease with high origin of coronary artery and to evaluate the imaging method for diagnosis of congenital high origin of coronary artery. Methods Six patients with congenital high origin of coronary artery underwent angiocardiography ,echocardiography ,and 2 patients also underwent magnetic resonance examination. All 6 cases were confirmed by operation. Results All 6 cases were congenital high origin of right coronary artery. Angiocardiography made correct diagnosis in all 6 cases; MRI made the correct diagnosis in 1 of the 2 cases; echocardiography made 1 correct diagnosis. Conclusion Correct diagnosis of congenital high origin of coronary artery was very important for patients with congenital heart disease. Angiocardiography was a very reliable imaging method and MRI can play an important role in preoperative diagnosis of congenital high origin of coronary artery.

With the development of natural products, the research activities on the solubilization methods of water-insoluble natural products have been carried out worldwide. Big molecular weight and poor solubility of most natural active ingredients lead to a very poor oral absorption and low bioavailability, which has extremely limited their development in pharmaceutical fields and clinical application. As a result, it is necessary to find out a suitable technique to improve the solubility and enhance the oral bioavailability of insoluble natural drugs. Based on the related references published in these years, this review introduced some new techniques to improve the solubility and bioavailability of natural drugs, including prodrugs, inclusion complex, solid dispersion, cocrystals, osmotic pump, liquisolid compacts, micronization, self-microemulsifying, nanosuspensions, lipsomes, polymeric micelles and so on, and summarized the theory, characteristics, application range, application examples, problems and development direction of each technique.

BACKGROUND:Tantalum rod implant technology is a new method of early osteonecrosis treatment. Current research on stress distribution before and after tantalum rod implant in different sizes of femoral head necrosis area is few. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the stress distribution before and after tantalum rod implantation in different sizes of necrotic femoral head area using three-dimensional finite element method. METHODS:Three-dimensional finite element models of normal femoral head and necrotic femoral head of 15, 20 and 30 mm diameterwere constructed. Eight measuring points were chosen on two tiers of each necrotic model to detect the stress distribution and its alteration before and after tantalum rod implantation. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) Stress concentration werefound on every necrotic femoral head, most pronounced on the one with 30 mm lesion. (2) Tantalum implant appeared to reduce the stress concentration generaly. Comparison of the peak points of these models indicated most significant benefit in 15 mm lesion, next in 30 mm lesion, last in 20 mm lesion. (3) Results indicate that larger lesion entails more concentrated stress distribution and more likely to colapse. Tantalum rod implantation can delay the development of necrosis of the femoral head, andismost effective in smal lesion.

Objective To find an ideal liver cirrhosis portal hypertension model in big animals suitable for surgical study. Methods Twenty canines were treated by subcutaneous injection of 60% CCl4 colza oil emulsion into the back,at a dose of 1.0-1.3 mL/kg every 10 days for a total of 6-8 times. At the same time,it was combined with the control of food intake. All canines were fed with rice mixed with 10% hog fat.The amount of rice was 15 g/kg per day from the first day to the forth day,but the amount of food was not controlled from the fifth day to the tenth day.During the process, the canines′ general condition was observed and the changes of hepatic functions such as ALT,TP,ALB,G and A/G were measured. The changes of liver morphology, the diameter and blood flow of portal vein were monitored with color Doppler.Every two weeks,a piece of hepatic tissue to observe the pathological change of liver was excised operatively. Results During the process, the body weight of the canines decreased continually;ALT increased during early and middle stages and decreased during advanced stage;TP and ALB always decreased, and A/G continuously decreased, but G did not change significamtly.Eight weeks after injection, liver became progressively smaller.its density was not well-distributed,and liver particles gradually became coarse, and liver capsule became rough. The diameter of portal veins became larger and the velocity of portal vein became slower.Liver cirrhosis with psudolobules was found on light microscopy from the tenth week to the twelfth week.Three canines died, with mortality of 15.0%.Conclusions It took 10-12 weeks to establish this liver cirrhosis portal hypertension models in canines by subcutaneous injection of CCl4.This method is convenient, has high success rate, and is suitable for use in surgieal research.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(01):-
The influence of Rosa davurica pall juice on pulmonary adenoma induced by urethan was observed in the experiment, which lasted for 20 weeks. 250 mice were divided into 4 groups at random. Group A was set as control receiving basal diet and tap water only. Another 3 groups were given basal diet, however, group B was given Rosa davurica pall juice 0.2ml/20g boody weight once a week, group C 0.1% urethan solution for drinking freely and group D 0.1% urethan solution plus the juice. The mouss body weight was weighed once a week; the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), the level of lipoperoxides (LPO), lymphocyte transformation and hemolysin were determined once a month, the pulmonary pathological examination was made also once a month. The obtained data were carried out with a 2?2 factorial analysis. The result were as follows:(1)the incidence of pulmonary adenoma of group C(100%) was significantly higher than that of group D (69%) at the e-nd of experiment (P
