In healthy control group(group A),impaired fasting glucose group (group B) and diabetes group(group C),serum ferritin levels gradually raised[(170.7±91.8),(255.2±161.9) and (362.8±298.5) μmol/L].Hemoglobin Was elevated in impaired fasting glucose group,while returned to normal or even lower in diabetes group[group A(141.0±9.5),group B(148.2±11.2),group C(132.3±19.2)g/L].There was no difference in high sensitivity C-reactive protein among the groups.

Objective To investigate whether the sort of drugs causing drug eruptions complicated with drug-induced liver dysfunction are the same as those causing drug eruptions. Methods Sixty-one cases of drug eruption complicated with drug-induced liver dysfunction in 261 cases confirmed as drug eruptions from January 1998 to March 2003 were analyzed retrospectively. Results The major hepatotoxic drugs in these cases were antivirus drugs (60%, 9/15), antituberculosis drugs (66.67%, 8/12), zyloric (55.56%, 5/9), and some traditional Chinese medicines (31.58%, 6/19). Conclusion The sort of drugs causing drug eruptions complicated with drug-induced liver dysfunction are the same as those causing drug eruptions, which should be taken into consideration in clinical medication.

Objective Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) is a key in the management of cancer patients' clinic syptoms.This article investigated the status quo of nurses' knowledge and attitude towards CFR.Methods THe method of cross-sectional survey and questionnaire was used to investigate the knowledge and attitude towards CRF among nurses from related departments of three Grade III hospitals in Nanjing.Results 142 nurses answered the questionnaire.The average correct rate was 76.25%, among which nurses from the oncology department had better congition rate than nurses from other medical and surgical departments (84.3%, 75.98%, 79.57%) , representing significant difference (P<0.05).64.79% of the nurses found the relatives of cancer patients and nurses often fail to understand cancer patients;complaint of fatigue, 76.76% of nurses assumed there is lack of communication in fatigue between patients and medical staff.94.36% of nurses agreed medical institutions should strengthen the management of CRF.Conclusion At present, the clinical nurses have inadequate knowledge about CRF, which should be enhanced in future work.

OBJECTIVETo investigate effects of elastic stable intramedullary nails for the treatment of radial neck fracture in children.

METHODSFrom July 2006 to December 2011, 25 children with radical neck fractures, which included 16 males and 9 females aged from 7 to 15 years old (means 10.7), were treated with elastic stable intramedullary nails. According to Judet classification, 6 cases were type II, 17 cases were type III and 2 cases were type IV (including 1 case with type IVa and 1 case with type IVb). The fracture healing, pain, deformity and range of motion of elbow were recorded.

RESULTSAll patients were followed up for 6 to 24 months with an average of 14 months. Twenty-five patients were obtained bone healing. According to Tibone and Stoltz evaluation standard, 18 cases got excellet results, 4 cases in good and 3 cases in moderate.

CONCLUSIONElastic stable intramedullary nails for the treatment of radial neck fracture in children has advantages of simple operation,less trauma and good results.

Objective To retrospectively analyze the result of HCMV‐DNA of breast milk and urine of neonatal hyperbilirubi‐nemia and evaluate the effect on screening neonatal hyperbilirubinemia .Methods Collected 461 cases of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia from January 2014 to December 2014 in our hospital ,which fed with breast milk as observation group ,at the same period collected 450 cases of healthy newborn in our hospital as control group .Tested the their level of HCMV‐DNA in breast milk and urine with Fluorescent Quantitative PCR ,recorded the testing results .Results 239 cases with positive HCMV‐DNA urine were detected in observation group ,accounting for 51 .8% .There were 89 cases of positive HCMV‐DNA urine in control group ,which accounted for 19 .8% ,the comparative difference was statistically significant(P< 0 .01) .There were 367 cases of positive HCMV‐DNA breast milk in observation group ,accounting for 79 .6% .The positive HCMV‐DNA breast milk were detected in 137 cases in control group ,which accounted for 30 .4% ,the comparative difference was statistically significant (P<0 .01) .Conclusion The breast milk of HCMV infection was an important way of neonatal HCMV infection ,the HCMV‐DNA detection of breast milk and urine was of great significance to the diagnosis of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia .

Objective To explore the role of sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin-one (Siglec-1) in the process of atherosclerotic inflammation induced by oxidized low-density hpepmtein (ox-LDL). Methods Ox-LDL was synthesized by oxidization of native LDL and different concentration of ox-LDL was added to the culture medium of RAW264.7. Forty-eight hours later, cells and supernatants were collected separately. The expression of Siglec-1 protein and mRNA were measured by flow cytometry(FCM) and real-time quantitative RT-PCR, respectively. The levels of monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1), macrophage inflammatory protein-1α(MIP-1α) and IL-8 in supernatants were determined by ELISA. Re-sults By the stimulation of ox-LDL, Siglec-1 protein and mRNA on RAW264.7 cells were significantly in-creased, meanwhile, the cytokines levels in culture supematants were significantly higher than that in the control group. And both Siglec-1 expression and cytokine secretion were ox-LDL dose-dependent. Conclu-sion Ox-LDL can increase Siglec-1 protein and mRNA expression and some inflammatory cytokines secre-tion on RAW264.7 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Manifested by enhanced Siglec-1 expression, the acti-vated macmphages may take a part in the development and progression of atherosclerosis.

Objective To explore the value of ultra?high b?value DWI in diagnosis of prostate cancer in central gland. Methods Seventy?one consecutive patients, who were scheduled for prostate biopsy, were prospectively screened. T2WI, conventional DWI with b?value of 1 000 s/mm2 and ultra?high b?value DWI with b?value of 2 000 s/mm2 and 3 000 s/mm2 were performed in each examination. Twelve?core ultrasound guided prostate systematic biopsy was operated within 3 weeks after MRI examination. Images were interpreted based on prostate MR guidelines (PI?RADS) and were corresponding to histological results conducted by ultrasound guided prostate systematic biopsy. Using biopsy as the gold standard, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV) and negative predictive value (NPV) were calculated for different imaging methods. Sensitivity and specificity differences between ultra?high b?value DWI and conventional DWI were analyzed using the McNemar test. The areas under the curves (AUCs) between ultra?high b?value DWI and other modalities were compared by using the Z test. Results Forty lesions were identified in the prostate central glands from the 33 sample patients in 71 examinees. Twenty two lesions were identified as prostate cancer in 15 patients and 18 lesions were identified as benign prostatic hyperplasia in 18 patients. MRI analysis of lesions in central gland, 27 (67.5%), 20 (50.0%), 32 (80.0%) and 35 (87.5%) were diagnosed accurately with the T2WI, conventional DWI and ultra?high b?value DWI (b=2 000, 3 000 s/mm2) respectively. The sensitivity and specificity for ultra?high b?value DWI was 90.9%and 83.3% with a b?value of 3 000 s/mm2 and was 86.4% and 72.2% for 2 000 s/mm2. These values were significantly higher than conventional DWI with a b?value of 1 000 s/mm2 (59.1%and 38.9%, P<0.05). The detection of lesions was comparable with ultra?high b?value DWI at 2 000 s/mm2 and 3 000 s/mm2 (P>0.05). The AUCs were 0.674, 0.510, 0.793 and 0.871 in T2WI, conventional DWI and ultra?high b?value DWI at 2 000 s/mm2 and 3 000 s/mm2 respectively. ROC analysis showed greater AUCs for the ultra?high b value DWI, than for the T2WI and conventional DWI (P<0.05). Conclusion The ultra?high b?value DWI is a valuable MRI modality in the diagnosis of prostate cancer in central gland.

Objective To investigate the role of IL-2,IFN-? and IL-10 in pemphigus acantholysis. Methods Acantholysis was observed histopathologically in the skin organ culture model of pemphigus after interacting with different concentrations of IL-2, IFN-? and IL-10 for 24 h?48 h and 72 h. Results The acantholysis was promoted by IL-2 and IFN-?, and the severity of acantholysis was related to the concentrations of IL-2 and IFN-?. The effect of IFN-? was weaker than that of IL-2. IL-10 could inhibit the acantholytic effect of IFN-? significantly, and inhibit the acantholytic effect of IL-2 when its concentration was higher than 100 pg/mL. Conclusions Th1 cytokines can promote acantholysis induced by antibody of pemphigus (Pab) while Th2 cytokines can inhibit the acantholysis induced by Pab, and the effect of Th1 cytokines. Th2 lymphocytes may play an important role in the pathogenesis of pemphigus.

BACKGROUND: Studies on the biomechanical properties in NUSS procedure have obtained some achievements, but the effect of scoliosis surgical correction of scoliosis on thoracic deformity remains unclear.OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of simultaneous correction of pectus excavatum and scoliosis on thoracic deformity so as to provide reference for designing a rational orthopedic scheme.METHODS: The three-dimensional reconstruction model of the chest was established based on the CT data of the patients with pectus excavatum and scoliosis. The surgical correction of pectus excavatum and scoliosis was simulated by numerical simulation method.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) Results after correction showed that the bilateral spinous processes at T3-5 segments displaced to the left (X direction) about 1 mm, suggesting that the simultaneous correction is favorable for the correction of scoliosis. (2) Compared with the single NUSS procedure, the displacement at Y direction was increased by 13.358 mm in the simultaneous correction; meanwhile, there was significant difference in the shortest displacement between two methods.(3) In views of Von Mises stress distribution, the stress in the simultaneous correction was decreased by 24.6 MPa compared with the single Nuss procedure, indicating that the simultaneous correction can significantly reduce the Von Mises stress on the chest, which contributes to alleviate the postoperative pain. (4) Our results show that the simultaneous correction cannot only improve scoliosis, but also improve the symptoms of pectus excavatum.

RNAi Vectors for SmNAC transcription factors of Salvia miltiorrhiza was constructed by using Gateway cloning technology, in order to further study the function of SmNAC1 transcription factor. According to Gateway cloning technology, the specific fragments of SmNAC1 containing attB adapter was amplified by PCR using ultra-fideling phusion polymerase of NEB. By the BP recombination reaction, the PCR product containing attB was transferred to an donor vector (pENTR/SD/D-TOPO). Finally, SmNACi specific gene was cloned into pK7GWIWG2D plant expression vectors by LR recombination reaction. Experimental results showed that Gateway cloning technology provide a rapid and highly efficient way to clone the interested gene.
