[ ABSTRACT] AIM: To determine the aberrant methylation status in the gene promoter regions of CDH13, RASSF1A, DLEC1, SEPT9 and RUNX3 by detecting the plasma specimens and the value of their combined detection for di-agnosis of lung cancers.METHODS:Nest methylation specific PCR ( nMSP) was used to detect the promoter methylation status of the 5 genes in the plasma from 106 normal controls, lung cancer tissues, lung benign tissues and the plasma from 106 patients with lung cancers.Multiple displacement amplification ( MDA) was used to amplify modified genomic DNA to solve the problem of insufficient of plasma DNA template.RESULTS: The positive rates of promoter methylation of CDH13, RASSF1A, DLEC1, SEPT9 and RUNX3 in the lung cancer tissues were 51.9%, 44.3%, 54.7%, 36.8%, 24.5%, respectively, and those in the plasma were 46.2%, 41.5%, 50.9%, 31.1%, 19.8%, respectively. The re-sults of the Kappa consistency check showed that the lung cancer tissues and the plasma had obviously coherence in the methylation status of the 5 gene promoter regions.Combination of DLEC1, CDH13, RASSF1A, and SEPT9 had a higher di-agnostic efficiency than the others, as their ACC value was 0.8208 and youden index was 0.6415 ( with the sensitivity of 81.13% and the specificity of 83.02%) .CONCLUSION:Combination detection of promoter methylation of lung cancer-related genes in the plasma is expected to apply to the early diagnosis of lung cancer.

Objective: To understand the effects of remuneration incentive and their influences on job satis-faction in county public hospital. Methods: Stratified random sampling was adopted. Six county public hospitals in county level in Heilongjiang province were selected as the sample. Exploratory factor analysis was used to ana-lyze the remuneration incentives, descriptive statistical analysis and logistic regression analysis were used to ana-lyze the effects and their influences on work satisfaction. Results: remuneration incentives are divided into four dimensions that comprised a total of 16 items, which including direct material rewards, indirect material re-wards, occupational rewards and social rewards. The surgeon’s job satisfaction is higher than the physician, and is lower than the obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics. Technician and nurses’ satisfaction is lower than the general practitioner. The medical staff who worked less than5 years has the lowest satisfaction. Authorized staff’s satisfaction is lower than off-staff. Direct material rewards and occupational rewards are related to job satisfac-tion. Conclusions:Material rewards were in low level, and non-economic incentive was insufficient. The salary incentive for highly educated talents should be strengthened.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(17):3374-3378
The evolution of the quality control concepts of medical products within the global context and the development of the quality control technology of Chinese medicine are briefly described. Aimed at the bottlenecks in the regulation and quality control of Chinese medicine, using Big Data technology to address the significant challenges in Chinese medicine industry is proposed. For quality standard refinements and internationalization of Chinese medicine, a technological innovation strategy encompassing its methodology, and the R&D direction of the subsequent core technology are also presented.

Objective To investigate the effect of focal cerebral ischemic preconditioning (IPC) on brain edema and the expression of nuclear factor-?B( NF-?B) and its target gene MMP-9. Methods Forty-five SD rats were divided into 3 groups in which control group received sham surgery only, and the other two groups received 2 hours of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) followed by 22 hours of reperfusion with or without 10 minutes of IPC 3 days before. Brain water content, expression of NF-?B and MMP-9 mRNA were evaluated in each group by wet-dry weight method, immunohistochemistry staining and RT-PCR. Results Compared with the SS group, there was a lower NF-?B immunoreactivity and MMP-9 mRNA level (16 098.2?1 265.3 vs 23 565.8?1 978.4,50.7% vs 84.1%, P

The introduction of problem-based learning techniques into the teaching of anatomy has been subject to great contro- versies. This paper debates the rationale behind this concept using the example of the curriculum of Harvard Medical School. The anatomy curriculum is covered during the eight first weeks of the medical studies, and is an original combination of discussions of clinical cases in small groups, and work in gross anatomy, histology and radiology laboratories. The lectures are reduced to the minimum and emphasize general concepts.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To investigate the radiation and radioprotection in bedside digital radiography. Methods 650 cases undergoing X-ray examination in sugical wards are involved. Results The patients' X-ray radiation dose is 3.12~7.68 mGR. Conclusion To avoid unnecessary radiation, radioprotection should be emphasized when improving images' quality.

International Eye Science 2014;(12):2240-2243
AlM: To investigate and evaluate the prevalence of xerophthalmia among aerospace science and technology staff and its influencing factors for the eye health guidance.
METHODS: The staff underwent physical examination in our examination center from September 2013 to June 2014 were preliminary screened, and those patients with symptoms of dry eye were investigated with questionnaires and diagnosed by basic lacrimal secretion test ( Schirmer l ) , breakup time of tear film ( BUT ) test and fluorescein ( FL) staining test .
RESULTS: There were 606 complaints of dry eye symptoms of the 1 000 premiers, distributed in random (60. 6%), and 432 employees were diagnosed (43. 2%). The positive rate of dry eye was 71. 3%. The causes of xerophthalmia, besides of gender, age, also include a variety of factors such as air-conditioner, heating, video terminals, sleep time, etc.
CONCLUSlON: Dry eye, an epidemic disease, has a variety of symptoms and complex etiology, the main causes of aerospace science and technology staff with dry eye is working environment and some local factors. We can give appropriate health guidance according to the different factors. Meanwhile the relevant series of dry eye screening should also be taken as a routine examination in ophthalmic examination.

Objective To observe the treatment effect of acupoint massage and auricular point sticking of cowherb seeds on blood pressure of hypertensive patients. Methods 100 cases of hypertensive patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,50 cases in each. The observation group was given routine application of antihyportensive drags combined with acupoint massage and auricular point sticking of cowherb seeds. The control group received routine drug therapy. The blood pressure changes were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results The systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of both groups were lower after treatment compared with those before treatment. The total effective rate of blood pressure control was 98% in the observation group,88% in the control group, which showed no significant difference.Symptom control results showed that the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group. Conclusions Acupoint massage and auricular point sticking of cowherb seeds in hypertensive patients can be an auxiliary pressure relief means,it can not only effectively lower blood pressure, but show good effect in alleviation of headache, vertigo, irritability.
