1.Retrospect in myopia progression and its risk factors in university students
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2015;33(6):560-562
Myopia, due to its rapid progression and sever complications, has become an important global public health issue.Although there are numerous reports on myopia progression and its risk factors in university students, longitudinal reports are relatively rare and mainly focused on medical students.Generally, the myopia progression is slow and stable among the university students.More myopic initial refraction, more near distance work and less outdoor activity are the clear risk factors for myopia progression in this population. This review summarized the reports on myopia progression and its risk factors, such as age, sex, refractive status, near distance work or outdoor activity in university students.
2.The relationship among the D-dimer,C-reactive protein and left tatrial diameter in the patients with atrial fibrillation
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(14):1924-1926
Objective To investigate the relationship among the D-dimer,C-reactive protein and left atrial diameter in the patients with atrial fibrillation(AF). Methods 53 AF patients were selected, the control group consisted of 32 cases of sinus rhythm(SR). The levels of D-dimer, CRP and LAD in AF group were compared with each other, and with those in the control group. Correlation analysis between D-dimer, CRP and LAD were made. Results D-dimer,CUP and LAD in AF group were significantly different from those in SR group. D-dimer and CRP in persistent AF and permanent AF differed significantly from that in SR and paraxymal AF. LAD in the group of persistent AF differed from that in SR group. LAD in permanent AF was significantly different from that in paraxymal AF and SR. Positive linear correlations were found between D-dimer, CRP and LAD in AF (r=0.376; 0.33).Conclusion Hypercoagulable state existsed in AF; the elevation of CRP should be the result and related to persistence time of AF. Positive correlation existsed between LAD and hypercoagulable state and inflammatory reaction.
3.Retrospective Analysis of 2 Therapeutic Regimens for 56 Cases of Bone Metastasis of Cervical Cancer
China Pharmacy 2015;(26):3681-3683
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate therapuetic efficacy and toxic reaction of 2 therapuetic regimens for 56 cases of bone me-tastasis of cervical cancer. METHODS:56 cases of bone metastasis of cervical cancer with complete information were collected ret-rospectively and randomly divided into radiochemotherapy group(31 cases)and diphosphonate group(25 cases). Radiochemothera-py group was given radiotherapy, chemotherapy and diphosphonate;diphosphonate group was given palliative symptomatic treat-ment of diphosphonate;a treatment course lasted for 3-4 weeks, and both groups received 3 courses of treatment. Average survival time, survival quality and toxic reaction were comparison in 2 groups. RESULTS:After bone metastasis of cervical cancer, the av-erage survival time of radiochemotherapy group was 17 months (95%CI:9.1-24.9),and that of diphosphonate group was 19 months (95%CI:2.4-35.6);3 years later, the survival rate of radiochemotherapy group was 16.1%,and that of diphosphonate group was 16.0%,there was no statistical significance(P=0.820). To compared KPS after 3 treatment courses, the improvement rate of radiochemotherapy group(22.6%)was significantly lower than that of diphosphonate group(40.0%),with statistical signif-icance (χ2=4.36,P<0.05). Toxic reaction of radiochemotherapy group was more significant than that of diphosphonate group. CONCLUSIONS:Diphosphonate has little effect on survial quality and slight toxic reaction. It is worthy of spreading in some pa-tients with advanced, elderly and reccurred bone metastasis of cervical cancer.
4.Effect and value of traditional Chinese medicine combined with enteral nutrition in AECOPD patients with malnutrition
