1.Advances of treatment for angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2013;22(9):517-519
Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) is a rare subtype of peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) with aggressive behaviour and poor prognosis.Due to the rarity of the disease, few prospective controlled randomized clinical trials were conducted, and the standard therapeutic option for AITL has not been established.Although conventional anthracycline-based chemotherapy achieves response rates of up to 50 %,most of the patients relapse, the median survival time and overall survival rate are unsatisfactory.Recent studies have demonstrated that hematopietic stem cell transplantation and cyclosporine show promising efficacy in the treatment of AITL.This current review mainly focused on the advance of treatment for AITL.

Objective To explore the regularity of dynamic morphologic changes of the sinoatrial node (SAN) cells of rabbits after the constitution was damaged by formaldehyde wet dressing. Methods Sixty rabbits were randomly divided into 6 groups (n=10 in each group): the control group and 5 experimental groups observed at 2 h, 1, 2, 3, and 4 weeks respectively after the operation. The SAN constitution of rabbits was damaged by 20% formaldehyde wet dressing. The constitutions of SAN were cut quickly at 2 h after wet dressing in the control group and at the corresponding time points in other experimental groups respectively. The specimens were made for light microscopical and electron microscopical observations. The apoptosis of SAN cells was detected by TUNEL method. Results Compared with those in the control group, SAN cells in all experimental groups were damaged at various degrees observed by light microscopy and electron microscopy. Distinct cell tumefaction, soak of grain cells, cytoclasis, hyperplasia of collagen fibers, and other pathological changes were detected. Electron microscopical observation showed distinct pathological changes of the super-micro construction of cells. Apoptosis was not detected in the control group, but various degrees of apoptosis in all experiment groups. The apoptotic rates in all experimental groups were significant as compared with that in the control group (P

Chinese Journal of Forensic Medicine 2017;32(3):286-289
As is known, H-Y antigens (male specific minor histompatibility antigens) are a group of minor histocompatibility antigens encoded on the Y-chromosome with homologous H-X antigens on the X-chromosome. H-Y antigens were originally discovered as transplant antigens, and they are only expressed in male individuals without specificity for different tissues and organs. A lot of research results show that H-Y antigens play an important role in the sex selection and identification. The paper reviews the above and discusses the application prospect of H-Y antigen in forensic science.

Objective To assess the effect of surgical repair of medial orbital wall combined with orbital floor fracture via lower lid subciliary approach. Design Retrospective case series. Participants 18 cases of medial orbital wall combined with orbital floor fracture. Methods All patients underwent the reconstruction of orbital wall via lower lid subciliary approach. The composite hydroxyapatite was implanted into the surface of medial orbital wall and orbital floor after lacriminal cyst was completely dissected and protected during the operation. Orbital axial and coronal CT, three-dimension CT scan have been used in all the cases preoperalively and postoperatively. Preoperative CT was compared with postoperative CT. Main Outcome Measures Clinical symptoms and complications. Results All patients were followed up for 3 to 18 months. The postoperative scar of infracillary skin was not obvious. The composite hydroxyapatite was not rejected and dislocated in all cases postoperatively. No postoperative epiphora was found in either case. Preoperative diplopia and enophthalmos were corrected. Conclusion The treatment of medial orbital wall combined with orbital floor fracture via an isolated lower lid subciliary approach was feasible. But the incision was only used in the treatment of inferior medial orbital wall combined with orbital floor fracture, especially the transition area fracture between the orbital floor and medial orbital wall.

Generally, pencil beam kernels for photon beam calculation are obtained through Monte Carlo calculations. In this paper,a pencil beam model is set up with a method of deconvolution from measured broad beam profiles. These profiles are usually available in a radiotherapy planning system.Furthermore, this method is applied to computing dose distributions at different sizes.Comparisons with measurements show that the accuracy of the calculated dose distributions fits well in a1%error interval in high dose gradient regions.
