Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of intravitreal injection of ranibizumab combined with panretinal photocoagulation for severe non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy.Methods Sixty-four cases (90 eyes) with severe non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy from July 2014 to June 2016 in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups according to the digital table.The observation group (32 cases,46 eyes) underwent intravitreal injection of reizumab combined with panretinal photocoagulation,and the control group (32 cases,44 eyes) were treated with only panretinal photocoagulation.The visual acuity,fundus,fundus fluorescein angiography and macnlar thickness postoperative 1 month,3 months,6 months were observed and detected.The mean thickness of the retinal neuroepithelium in the macular region and total volume of the 6 mm diameter neuroepithelium in the macular area were compared and statistically analyzed.The laser energy,number of spots and energy density were calculated and recorded.Results BCVA at postoperative 1 month,3 months,6 months in the observation and the control group were better than that before treatment(all P ＜ 0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group (all P ＜ 0.05).In the control group,BCVA had no statistically significant difference between 3 months and 6 months (P ＞ 0.05),and the differences were statistically significant among other time points (all P ＜ 0.05).In the observation group,the differences were statistically significant among all time points after treatment (all P ＜ O.05).In the comparison of mean thickness of the retinal neuroepithelium in the macular region and total volume of the 6 mm diameter neuroepithelium in the macular area in the control group and the observation group before and after treatment,there were statistically significant differences at different time points between the two groups (all P ＜ 0.05).Moreover,the average thickness of the retinal neuroepithelium and total volume of 6 mm diameter neuroepithelium in the macular region at postoperative 1 month,3 months,6 months were better than those in the control group (all P ＜ 0.05).The laser energy,spot number and energy density of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Intravitreal injection of ranibizumab combined with panretinal photocoagulation for severe non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy can accelerate retinal neovascularization in a short period of time,reduce macular edema and improve the visual function of patients with less laser energy,the curative effect is better than application of retinal laser photocoagulation alone,is worthy of clinical promotion.

BACKGROUND:Retinal contusion injury is one of the leading causes for vision impairment, and clinical treatment is difficult. Although fundus change after retinal contusion injury has been ful y understood, the pathogenesis and drug treatment stil remain controversial.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the apoptosis and related mechanism of optic nerve cel s in rabbit model of retinal contusion injury.
METHODS:Forty-eight healthy adult rabbits without oculopathy were divided into eight groups:1 hour, 3 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 28 days after contusion and normal control, with six rabbits in each group. Right eye of each rabbit was treated with Al en’s reformative hitting method as contusive retinopathy model. The eyebal s were enucleated at different time points after injury in rabbit retina. The pathological section of optic nerve 5 mm posterior to sieve plate was harvested. The morphologic changes of optic nerve were observed and number of glial cel s was measured using hematoxylin-eosin staining. Electron microscope and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling technique were used to assess apoptosis.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:In the normal control group, glial cel s presented cylinder shapes and neural fibers arranged neatly. The trend of the glial cel s was as the same as the neural fibers. But the optic nerve fibers arranged in disorder and the glial cel s lost polarity in the groups of 1 hour, 3 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days after retinal contusion injury. The number of glial cel s in 1 hour, 3 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days was extremely significantly reduced compared with normal control group (P<0.01). There was cel apoptosis in optic nerve after retinal contusion injury, but almost not observed in optic nerve from normal control group, 1 hour and 28 days after injury. The apoptotic cel s were abundant at 3 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days after injury, and peaked at 3 days, showing extremely significant differences compared with normal control group (P<0.01). Apoptosis occurs in optic nerve after contusion of retina, which may be one of the reasons for incomplete recovery of retinal function.

Targeted therapy has gradually become the focus in the treatment of tumor, with the emerge of more and more targeted drugs which has brought the treatment of tumor into a new era. Imatinib, the tyrosine kinase inhibitor, is one of the important types of targeted therapy, has become the standard of care in adjuvant therapy of gastrointestinal stromal tumor(GIST) with extraordinary effects. Background and purpose:Bone marrow cytomorphology is the main approach for determination of bone marrow involvement in patients with malignant lymphomas. In recent years, with the development of detection of cellular surface markers and molecular biology, flow cytometry (FCM) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were gradually applied in the detection of bone marrow in malignant lymphomas. Because such systematic research has not been done domestically , we performed a study to compare diagnostic value and clinipathological signifi cance of cytomorphology of bone marrow aspirates, immunophenotype detected by flow cytometry and immunoglobulin heavy chain gene rearrangement detected by polymerase chain reaction in bone marrow of B cell lymphomas. Methods: Bone marrow cytomorphology, FCM and PCR were simultaneously carried out in 75 bone marrows of B cell lymphoma and compared with each other. Objective: To investigate the effect of Shexiangbaoxin Pills on morphosis and function of left ventricle after myocardial infarction in rat. Methods: The rat myocardial infarction models induced by ligaturing coronary artery were randomly divided into the myocardial infarction control group, Shexiangbaoxin Pill group and captopril group. The hemodynamic parameters and cardiac functions in 2 or 6 weeks after treatment were determined. Meantime, the morphological parameters of left ventrile (left cardiac chamber size, attenuation proportion of ventricular wall of infarction area, and expansion index of left ventrile), were studied. Results: Shexiangbaoxin Pills could reduce the distention of left ventrile and expansion of infarction area of rat in 6 weeks after infarction. It could obviously improve the contraction function of left ventrile after myocardial infarction. Conclusion: Shexiangbaoxin Pills can improve left ventricular reconstitution after myocardial infarction.

Objective To investigate changes in expressions of activation antigens CD69 and HLA-DR in CD3+T lymphocytes in peripheral blood and skin lesions in patients with psoriasis vulgaris. Methods Peripheral blood samples were obtained from 20 patients with psoriasis vulgaris and 20 healthy controls, and skin specimens from the lesions of 15 out of the 20 patients and 10 healthy controls. Flow cytometry was performed to quantify the expressions of CD69 and HLA-DR in peripheral blood CD3+T cells, and an immunohistochemical study to measure the expression of HLA-DR in skin specimens. Statistical analysis was carried out by a two-sample t-test and Pearson correlation analysis with the SPSS 19.0 software. Results Compared with the healthy controls, the patients with psoriasis vulgaris showed increased expression rates of CD69 (4.70%± 1.90%vs. 1.56%± 0.95%, t=6.629, P<0.01)and HLA-DR (8.97%± 1.79% vs. 3.02% ± 1.15%, t= 6.204, P< 0.01)in peripheral blood. Pearson correlation analysis revealed that the percentage of CD3+HLA-DR+cells in peripheral blood was positively correlated with the psoriasis area and severity index (PASI)score (r=0.5626, P<0.05). The expression rate of HLA-DR was significantly higher in the dermis (64.87%± 17.31%vs. 19.80%± 5.69%, t=7.916, P<0.01), but lower in the epidermis(11.80%± 5.55%vs. 27.40%± 8.61%, t=5.479, P<0.01)in the psoriatic specimens compared with the control specimens. Immunohistochemically, HLA-DR was widely expressed in the dermis of psoriatic lesions, but mainly distributed around blood vessels in the control skin. Conclusions There is an aberrant activation of CD3+T cells in peripheral blood and inflammatory cells in skin lesions in patients with psoriasis vulgaris, and the percentage of CD3 +HLA-DR+ cells in peripheral blood is correlated with the severity of psoriasis vulagaris.

OBJECTIVETo test the immunosuppressive effect of cyclosporine (Cs) in a polymer placed in the anterior chamber of corneal allograft recipients.

METHODSWistar inbred rats with vascularized corneas were recipients of corneal allografts from Sprague-Dawley donor rats. Rats underwent penetrating keratoplasty and were divided randomly into four groups: untreated control animals (UCA); Cs-polymer anterior chamber recipients (CPA); co-polymer subconjunctival recipients (CPS); and Cs-olive oil drop recipients (COO). Grafts were examined by slit lamp every 3 days and clinical conditions were scored. Cs concentration in the aqueous humor was assayed at 1, 2, and 4 weeks. At 1, 2 and 4 weeks after transplantation, the operated eyes were collected for histopathological evaluation of the grafts.

RESULTSThe median survival time of the allografts was 8.2 +/- 1.48 days for the UCA group, 11.4 +/- 2.50 days for the CPS group, and 17.0 +/- 2.00 days for the CPA group. There was a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05) between survival time of the allografts in the animals of the CPA group compared to the other groups of graft recipients. Significantly higher concentrations of Cs were found in the eyes given an anterior chamber implant of Cs-polymer, compared to other treatment groups or untreated rats. A transient inflammatory response in the anterior chamber was observed in the CPA group.

CONCLUSIONSCs-polymer placed in the anterior chamber significantly prolongs corneal allograft survival time in a high risk corneal graft rejection model. This intraocular delivery system may be a valuable adjunct for the suppression of immune graft rejection.
